LAROSE, Judith Anne. Pre-deceased by her mother Phyllis in 1991. Survived by her loving husband Barry, one daughter Irene LaRose of Langley, three granddaughters - Alligra Ferguson of Calgary, A.B., Karlie and Shannon LaRose of Langley. She also leaves behind three sisters, Teena (David) Blake of Prince George, B.C., Penny (Al) Teinchevski of South Dakota, USA, Holly (Steve) Karnish of Summerland, B.C., one brother David (Jan) Belyk of Michigan, USA, four nephews, Matthew and Jason Blake of Prince George, B.C., Dallas and Patrick Karnish of Summerland, B.C. and her father Walter Belyk of Summerland, B.C. Her interests included: pottery, painting, drawing, trips around the world with her husband and family and the every day joy of her Grand-children. Cremation: Flowers gratefully declined, if friends so desire, donations in Judy's memory may be made to the Metchosen Art School, 650 Pearson College Drive, Victoria, B.C, V9C 4H7 c/o Judy LaRose Bursary Fund. After a year long fight with cancer, John passed away in his home in Langley. He leaves behind his parents Martin & Joanne, siblings Jane (Dennis), Celia, Rob (Pam) and Dave (Marlo) and nieces and nephews, his dogs Ben and Otis and many friends and co workers at Burnaby Lake Greenhouse.
A celebration of life will be held Thurs, January 31 at 11am at Henderson's Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Hwy, Langley. In lieu of flowers donations to The Canadian Cancer Society.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father, Opa and friend. George passed away peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday January 23, 2008 at the Langley Hospice. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of forty years Mary, children John, Linda, Tracy (James) and Cindy (Matt);
grandchildren Michael, Kurtis, Justin, Sean and Michaela; sister Ria (Frans) of Holland and brother Leo ( Mieke) of Holland. He was pre-deceased by son in law Henry. George was born on September 18, 1945 in Bergschenhoek, Holland and immigrated to Canada in 1965. He met Mary while working in the greenhouses at Fraser Nurseries and they married in 1967. In 1969 they started Ravenek Greenhouses growing their first crop of flowers. He was well recognized in the flower industry and was always willing to offer his help or advice. His hobbies included work, golf and traveling. A service to celebrate George's life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday January 30, 2008 at Willoughby Christian Reformed Church, 20525 72nd Ave Langley. Evening visitation will be held on Tuesday January 29th 7-9 P.M.at Personal Alternative Funeral Services, 3070-275A Street, Aldergrove. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of George may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or the Langley Hospice Society. The family would like to thank Dr. Sank and the staff at Langley Hospice for their care and support. We love you Dad and will greatly miss you.

CANZIAN, Sara was born July 7, 1912 in Casarsa, Italy. passed away January 20, 2008 in Rosewood Extended Care. She was pre-deceased by her husband Mario in 1994 and her daughter Bruna in 1998. Surviving her are her sons Angelo and Edwards. Grandchildren Sue, Joe, Fred, Tom and Mike. Niece Renza, nephew Primo. The family would like to thank the nurses and care workers at Rosewood for there care and love given to Sara. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 20676 Fraser Hwy, Langley at 11:00 am on January 30, 2008.

POST - Ceridwyn (Ceri) Elizabeth (nee Camper), aged 63 years, passed away peacefully at Langley Hospice Residence on January 19, 2008. Lovingly remembered by her husband of 37 years, Bernard Post, daughters Tania Sprout (Dave Sprout) and Natasha Vander Wal (Steve Vander Wal), brother Eugene Camper, nephew Simon Camper and niece Zoe Camper, and many other relatives and friends. Ceri’s contributions to the community in Langley were great. She volunteered for many years at Simonds Elementary, where she also worked as a noon-hour supervisor and crossing guard. Later, she cared for children at Happy Life Daycare, Rainforest Learning Centre, Timms Community Centre and Douglas Recreation Centre. The children and their families brought her much joy and fulfillment. Her family wishes to give a special thanks to the staff and volunteers at Langley Hospice for their unique and compassionate care over the past four weeks. A celebration of Ceri’s life will be held at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway in Langley, on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Langley Hospice Society or the BC Cancer Foundation.

Fifty-five year old Lyle Lilly of Sparwood, BC died suddenly on January 19, 2008. He was born on July 17, 1952 in The Pas, Manitoba to parents Gena and Ken Lilly. Lyle will be dearly missed by his mother Gena, sisters Marlene (Jim) Muir, Charlotte (Randy) Roberts, Janice (Harold) Schwindt and Karen (Ernie) Cook, 10 nieces and nephews and 8 great nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his father Ken in 2002, his great nephew Kieran Vinet in 2005 and his canine companion Bruiser, who he missed terribly when he died. An avid outdoorsman, Lyle loved fishing and gardening. A talented carpenter, he was always busy helping family and friends with their latest projects. Lyle took great pride in his work and his home; everything he did was meticulous. A wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend, he will be forever loved and always remembered. Lyle lived in Langley for many years before moving to Sparwood. A graveside service will be held at the Sparwood Columbarium on January 30th, followed by a reception at the Seniors Drop In Centre. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lilac Terrace, PO Box 1587, Sparwood, BC, V0B 2G0. Arrangements entrusted to Cherished Memories Funeral Services Ltd.

Ivy passed away peacefully on January 18th, 2008 at Langley Memorial Hospital. Ivy is pre-deceased by her husband Walter, her brothers Stanley and Earnest, grandson Dustin and daughter-in-law Jeanette. She will be forever loved and missed by her children Wayne and Albert (Ann), Ron, her 8 grandchildren Tawny, Shandus and Saul, Niomi and Caleb, their mother Emily, Diane, her mother Doreen, Ryan and Melanie, as well as seven great grandchildren and the many others whom she opened her doors and heart to.
A memorial will be held Friday January 25th 11:00 A.M. at Henderson's Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, Langley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.

On April 1, 2008, Celia Warnock (nee McLellan) peacefully entered into the arms of Jesus. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Vivian Warnock, her five children, Grace (D. L.), Bill (Diane), Anne, Donna (Rick) and Carol, her step-son, Claire (Inga), her 19 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. She will also be dearly missed by her brother, George Glass, sister, Grace Fountain, and many other family members and friends. This woman left a legacy of love and faith that lives on in all of us.
A memorial service will be held at Christian Life Assembly, 21277 - 56th Avenue in Langley on Saturday, April 5th @ 1:00 p.m. in Room 129.

On March 31st, 2008 Nadine Simonis passed away after bravely fighting a heroic battle with inflammatory breast cancer.
Her passing was as she wished; at home, in her apartment, supported by her loving family and friends in the Windsong Community of Langley.
Her happy smile and outgoing personality will be missed by her parents, her siblings and her huge circle of friends.
A Celebration of her Life will take place as organized by her Windsong Community family of friends on what would have been her 47th birthday: Saturday April 5, 2008; at 2.00 p.m. at the Windsong Community, 20543 96th Avenue in Langley.
