Loveseth Jr., Lawrence William “Pug” Monday, 22 May 2006
Fort Saint James, BC
July 20, 1956 - May 22, 2006
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of a very special man. Pug leaves behind his children Bobbilyn, Shevaun (Bear), Drake, Scott.
Parents Lawrence and Madeliene Loveseth, Sisters Shelly (Ted) and Gloria (Grant), Grandchildren Sybastian and Ellektra and his special friend Reggie as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pug was pre-deceased by his grandparents Willie and Stella Loveseth and George and Joyce Minger as well as uncles and aunts.
Pug has a vast extended family and a great many friends that are going to miss him for many years to come.
Pug was born in Burns Lake, BC and came to Fort St. James BC in 1970.
He attended school here until he had figured that was enough. He then continued to reside in the Fort following whatever job he could land. His final place of employment was with YRB from 1987 until his passing. His interests were many but the first was raising his daughter Bobbi. He had a love for the outdoors that nothing could compare to if it got him out and in the bush wherever it was a good thing. Hunting and fishing kept food on the table and there was always something to learn out there. There wasn’t anyone who would have to second guess his loyalties to friends and family alike. In his eyes if you were a friend you were family. Please join us in the final send off for Pug on Wednesday May 31, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Cottonwood Park.
Loveseth, Lawrence "Pug" Monday, 22 May 2006
Fort Saint James, BC
July 20, 1956 - May 22, 2006
Loveseth, Lawrence passed away suddenly on May 22, 2006 at the age of 49 years.
Pug was well known in this community, he was very loved and respected.
Our beloved Pug could spot a “Damsel in Distress” from afar, he was every ladies hero. In his spare time he would be cooking and feeding folks who passed through his door. For Blaine and I he was a good matchmaker (thanks Pug).
He was passionate about camping, hunting and fishing.
We learned a lot of good fishing tips from him.
Going with PUG driving through the bush roads in his old ‘Pug Mobile’ with ‘PUG’ chicken wings (grub) and a bag of grass plus Bobbi-Lyn stretched out in the backseat...These road trips are my fondest memories; taking in all the natural beauty of Fort St. James.
He had eyes like an eagle and for a color blind fellow he sure could see far and a times he could roar like a lion too but was a Teddy Bear at heart.
He didn’t use fancy words, mostly the F’word expressed it all. Pug sure liked wearing wool too and my cat Tazzy loved him for that, this they had in common - wool buddies.
Our town was just getting over not seeing the Pug Mobile around (the truck’s color was not purple) and now Pug’s gone too. His No. 1 priority and dedication was his daughter Bobbi-Lyn, he loved being a father. Rescuing people was his other full time job.
We’ll all miss his wildness, sense of humour, laugh & smile. Catch the big one for Pug this summer.
Forever in our hearts
Love “Lady” Michelle, Blaine & J.J., Stormy Dog & Tazzy Cat
