Evangeline “Evange” M. Einfeld of Hixon, B.C. passed away Feb. 13, 2008 at G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital in Quesnel, B.C.
No service was held. A memorial service will be held in the Spring. Evangeline was cremated.
Evangeline was born in Vegreville, Alberta.
She met her husband Bob Einfeld in January 1994 and they married on July 20, 1996 in Vernon, B.C.
She lived in the Quesnel area for three years where she was retired and was a Legion member.
She is survived by her husband Bob, two children Troy and Tracey, two stepdaughters Cheryl and Jeanette, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild, three brothers and two sisters.
Hill (Penner), Mary Tuesday, 12 Feb 2008

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Hill (nee Penner) on February 12, 2008.
She was pre-deceased by her son Frank in 1955, husband Forrest in 1966, father Derk in 1976, mother Helena (nee Weiler) in 1987 and son Tom in 1997.
Mary is survived by her son Gordon, daughter Alma of Quesnel; daughter Mary Merle (Jim) Lefevre of Calgary, brothers Bill, Edward (Gladys), sisters Helen Meyers, and Kathleen Poor, all of Quesnel; sister Bertha Dyck of Makwa, Sask., brother Jake (Ethel) of Quesnel, Lenard of Trail, BC and Henry of Quesnel, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A service was held on February 19 at Clayton’s Funeral Home with interment at the Quesnel Cemetery, followed by refreshments at the Golden Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Golden Centre, 401 Front Street, Quesnel, B.C. V2J 2K4 are gratefully accepted.
Davis, Brandon Earl Sunday, 10 Feb 2008

Brandon Earl Davis was taken from us suddenly on February 10, 2008 at the early age of 22 years.
He is survived by his mother Donna Meyers, father Brian Davis, sister Nichole Davis, grandmother Jean Davis, many aunts, uncles and cousins and a multitude of friends.
Brandon’s impish smile warmed the hearts of all who met him.
You will be in our hearts always Brandon. Be at peace.
A celebration of life was held at Bear Creek Trails, Surrey, B.C. on February 17, 2008.
Bunnah, Keith Friday, 08 Feb 2008

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Keith James Bunnah.
Keith made his journey up to the creator on February 8, 2008 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, Sask. at the young age of 26, as he slipped away peacefully surrounded by family and friends.
Keith was survived by his partner Nathan Jones, mother Maureen Bunnah (Ed Backer), brother Kerry Bunnah (Tia Champagne), sisters Raven Wildman, Jordanne Bunnah, Dustee Bunnah and surviving grandmother Eleanor Bunnah.
Keith had nieces and nephews he loved dearly and his closest were, Shiean Blackkettle, Bailey Blackkettle (Raven Wildman), Phoenix Harding, Liam Harding (Jordanne Bunnah), Julien Bunnah (Kerry Bunnah & Tia Champagne).
Keith was pre-deceased by his father Fredrich James Bunnah in 2006.
Keith had many aunts and uncles and cousins who loved him very much and will miss him greatly. We wish to thank the Red Bluff Indian Band so much for the use of their hall for Keith’s wake and tea for both days.
Funeral service was held at Clayton’s Funeral Chapel and interment followed at the Quesnel Cemetery on February 15, 2008. Tea and a wonderful loonie auction followed that evening, we thank all family and friends who could attend. The turn out was wonderful.
On behalf of Keith’s family we thank everybody for their support during this time and especially Tim at St. Paul’s Hospital for his kindness and understanding.

We never thought we would say these words: “The Fight is Over”.
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Elizabeth Patricia Adams after a long battle with cancer.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Mike and two sons Chris (Susan) and Andrew (Liza). “Nana Banana” will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Jessica, Joshua, Hayden, Kailey.
A reception tea in her honour will be held on Saturday February 16 at 11:00 am in the Bentley Room at UNBC.
A Memorial Bursary Fund is being established to continue her passion for Political Science.
Loxterkamp, Mary (Reimer) Sunday, 09 Dec 2007

With sad hearts we announce the passing of Mary (Reimer) Loxterkamp on December 9, 2007 at G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital.
Mary was born on February 12, 1925 at Great Deer, Sask. She was the 6th of 12 children born to Peter and Edith Reimer.
She met Ossie Loxterkamp in New Westminster and they were married on February 12, 1946. For two years they had a service station in Chilliwack and then moved to Quesnel. They ran a milling business until they could buy the land to create a farm.
In 1976 they retired on 10 acres of the farm where Mary remained until going into hospital.
Mary was a loving, kind and gentle woman. She loved to garden, knit, crochet, sew, travel and go for walks. She, along with Ossie raised six children, had 16 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Her love and friendship will be sorely missed.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Ossie in 2000 and her son Earl in 1968. She was also pre-deceased by her parents and nine of her siblings.
She is survived by her son Alvin (Arlene), grandchildren Lloyd and Amanda, daughter Connie (Terry) Borowsky, grandchildren Curtis (Lynette), Mary, Alisa (Boy), Paul, great grandchildren Elizabeth, Connor, Morgan and Ashley, daughter Irene Whitmore (Kent Smith), grandchildren Jeff Hall (Courtney), Gerry, great grandchild Ryder, son Wayne, grandchildren Dustin, Ossie, Kyle, Ian and Jessica, daughter Ruby Derksen, grandchildren Emily, Janelle and Vanessa, sisters Helen Newman and Wilma Unrau.
A service was held on December 12 at Clayton’s funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Quesnel and District Palliative Care Assoc., Box 4537, Quesnel, B.C. V2J 3J8.
Hodgins, Albert Francis (Bert) Saturday, 08 Dec 2007

Albert Francis (Bert) Hodgins passed away in G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital in Quesnel on December 8, 2007 after a lengthy illness.
Bert was born August 24, 1926 and raised in the Kelowna area. He served a short while in the Army during WWII.
He worked at various jobs in orchard and construction before deciding on his chosen career.
He, with long-time friend and former business partner, Jim (Buster) Tully formed a logging and sawmill business which Bert remained at until his retirement.
Bowling and horseshoes were his recreation until he got “too old and weak” to pull his weight. He then settled into a quiet life with his feline friend ‘Blackie’. They watched alot of TV together.
Bert will be sadly missed by two sisters, Celina Simmans of Salmon Arm and Gladys Murray of Abbotsford, two nieces Lois McArthur of Kelowna and Norma (Peter) Killin of Campbell River, two nephews Dan (Lisa) Murray of Kelowna and Craig (Kay) Murray of Richmond.
We, the family wish to thank all who helped and tended Bert during his battle. The doctors, the wonderful nurses and staff at G.R. Baker, special friends Jim Tully and Kathleen Tully who have been there for us.
Rest in Peace Bert...we loved you.
