Dennison, Faye Judith Tuesday, 24 Jun 2008
Terrace, BC
Faye Judith DENNISON was born on May 1, 1946 in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan. She passed away peacefully on June 24, 2008 in Mills Memorial Hospital, Terrace B.C.
As the youngest child in her family, she always held onto the little girl in her. With a playful heart, she brought humor and spirit everywhere she went. She was energetic, humorous, and fun. Our beloved Mother loved life and loved her family. She taught us how to love each other and care for others but more importantly, she taught us the true meaning of family.
Faye had many passions in her life. She taught swimming in her community, enjoyed creating beautiful pieces of ceramics, looked forward to outings in the Red Hat Society, and took part in many community events. She lived for weekends boating, loved nature, cherished long walks along the beaches of Maui with David, and most of all wanted to spend time with the family that loves her dearly.
With her husband David, she found Maui as her second home. Whether it was throwing a Frisbee on the beach, dressing up for an Elegant Tea, or blowing the conch shell at sunset, she always maintained her youth, energy, and beauty.
Mom, you left us too soon. We will cherish every memory we have of you, value everything you have taught us, and never take for granted the life you have given us.
Faye is survived by her loving husband David, her daughter Delee and Delee’s fiancé Jim, her son Troy and daughter-in-law Nicki, and her two very special grandchildren Ryan and Heidi.
The family would like to extend our gratitude and express our great appreciation to the staff in the palliative care unit at Mills Memorial Hospital in Terrace, B.C. They made it a very special place for our Mom to spend her final days before leaving on her journey to heaven.
Funeral service will be held at the Thornhill Community Church, 3681 Krumm Rd. Terrace, B.C. on August 23rd. at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations in Faye’s memory, be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
