She also leaves her wonderful friends at the Harbourview House, the Royal Canadian Legion and all the people of Chemainus whose lives touched hers. Trixie loved life and lived it to the fullest. She always knew how to make us laugh! Her proudest achievements were her children. She was active right up to the end of her life and had just returned from the best-ever trip to Hawaii. We would like to thank her friend, Dr. Manhas and the wonderful, gentle staff at CDH, on 2 South for caring for our mom so lovingly. Thank you, Mom, for giving us life and sharing your zest for life with all of us. We love you and know that your spirit lives on in all of us.
“Aloha”
A celebration of Trixie’s life will be held on Mother’s Day, May 11th, at 1 p.m. at the Chemainus Legion Hall. Everyone who knew Trixie has a good story to tell, so please bring them along to share with us.
