Richmond, BC

Linda was born in Toronto, Ontario to Charles and Audrey Scharf. She died suddenly at home in Richmond, B.C. after a courageous 14 year battle against COPD.
Linda was active in the Richmond Community for many years. Linda was only the third woman Alderman elected to Richmond Council, serving from 1974 to 1980. After retiring from Council, she served many years as a Director of the Steveston Community Society and the Steveston Salmon Festival.

On Tuesday, April 1st, 2008 from 7:00-9:00pm, an informal service and reception will be held in the Seiner's Room at the Steveston Community Centre for those wishing to gather and remember Linda.
