LAPHAM, DAISY – Passed away peacefully, at Rosewood Retirement Village on Saturday, July 28, 2018, Daisy Irene Lapham, one day shy of her 94th. birthday. She was the dear wife of the late Irvine (Bud) Steinman (1984). Loving mother of Larry Steinman and his wife Julie of Mississauga and Randy Steinman and his partner Mary LaBelle of Sarnia.Cherished grandmother of Cameron Steinman and his wife Alison and their children; Will and Heidi all of Toronto, Cayley Dow and her husband Nelson and their children; Lyla and Jasper all of Squamish, B.C.and Lukas Steinman and his wife Annie of Nova Scotia.Daisy retired from Dow Chemical.
At Daisy’s request, there will be no funeral home visitation or service. Cremation has taken place and a Graveside Service and Committal of ashes will take place at Resurrection Cemetery on Saturday, August 11th. at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Adam Kilner officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow the graveside service at Rosewood Retirement Village (711 Indian Road, North, Sarnia) from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Memorial donations made to Sarnia Humane Society or the Kidney Foundation are appreciated by the family.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of June at Grey Bruce Health Services, Markdale on Thursday, July 5, 2018 of Markdale in her 79th year. Beloved wife (Honey) of Sheldon of 61 years. Loving mother of Allan of Desboro, Linda (Keith) Banks of Warburg, AB, Roy (Darla Burch) of Devon, AB, Shirley Hendrickson (Murray Schmidt) of RR4 Walkerton, Donna (Gary) Taylor of Whitby, Larry (Arlene) of B.C., Nancy (Mike) Hogenes of New Lowell, Rosie (Bill) King of Warburg, AB and the late Kenneth and Richard. Loved and remembered by 26 grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Richard (Ellen) Sherwood of Sarnia and Joanne Hewgill of Meaford. Predeceased by siblings Wanda, Elaine and Eva.
June was born to Julian and Maud Sherwood on June 23, 1940 in Oxford County, Ontario. She met and married the love of her life, Sheldon, in January. June took pride in raising her children and then watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. She thoroughly enjoyed walking, music and dancing. She had a great love for cats and was often found taking care of the “pretty kitty” next door when needed. A special thank you to Dr. Power, Dr. Kathler and all of the staff that have been helpful at the Markdale Hospital.
The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception, Flesherton on Monday, July 9 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00pm. Funeral service from the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 1:00pm. June will be laid to rest at “Home” with her two sons at McNeil Cemetery, Priceville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Centre Grey Health Services Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzhiemer’s Society would be gratefully appreciated.

Richard Thomas of New Westminster, B.C., passed away on November 3rd, 2018, after a short illness. He is survived by his loving wife Lucia and daughter Beatriz, in whose hearts he will be forever cherished. As per his wishes, cremation has been undertaken and a private service for family will be held at a later date. BULLOCK, Irene (née Juniper), of London, ON, passed away at Chelsey Park Long Term Care on Sunday, October 21, 2018, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of John T. Bullock. Dearly loved mother of Sandra Bullock-Geraghty (John), and Ian Bullock (Lori). Cherished grandmother of Anthony Bullock, Jessica Bullock, and Meghan Bullock. Irene is also remembered by her brother, Ian Juniper. Born in Scotland on June 16, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Ernest W. and Euphemia “Maimie” (née Murray) Juniper. For many years, Irene enjoyed square dancing. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Private interment will take place in Elmdale Memorial Park, St. Thomas. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
