Mom, or “Oma”, as the grandchildren fondly would call her, loved reading, especially Danielle Steele books, and any kind of love stories.
She enjoyed doing word search puzzles, picture puzzles and she especially loved flowers and gardening.
She sure had a green thumb.
Mom (Oma) made the best...and we mean the best...Christmas Cookies ever!!!
We all could not get enough of “Oma’s” Christmas cookies.
We are not sure if anyone knew this about Mom, but she had a beautiful singing voice.
Just three weeks prior to her passing, her two daughters had the honor and privilege of hearing Mom sing several beautiful songs.
We joined in; this was definitely a moment to treasure forever! She was a very special woman.
We are so sorry we lost you, we will always love you Mom - may you rest in peace beside Dad.
Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will follow at a later date.
Flowers are gratefully declined – Should you wish - donations in memory of Anneliese Maria Meger, may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the B.C. Cancer Foundation. We would like to thank the staff of Mountainview Lodge for all the care and support they gave our Mom (Oma).
