Taylor Dawn Janni (Fralick)
1992 - 2010
"Always in our hearts and minds.

Taylor was born on April 8, 1992 in Kamloops, British Columbia, and suddenly passed away May 22, 2010 in Cranbrook, British Columbia.
Taylor is survived by her parents Tanya Fralick and her partner Justin, Ron (Trinda) Janni, her brother Mason and sister Reece.
She will also be sadly missed and loved by her grandparents, Donna Fralick, Bob and Donna Lamond, Ron and Sue Janni, Wendy Hyde (Karl); aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and her numerous friends.
She was predeceased by her grandpa, Edward Fralick and both of her great-grandparents.
Taylor loved spending time with her family, especially with her brother Mason.
One of her more memorable times was getting her first deer while hunting with her father and brother.
She was a very avid reader; you could often find her with a book in hand, reading away.
She enjoyed spending time with her younger cousins, looking after them, and reading stories when asked.
Taylor's presence in a room was always accompanied by her infectious smile.
Taylor, and her smiles, will be deeply missed by her friends and her family.
A celebration of Taylor's life will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at McPherson's Funeral Home in Cranbrook at 12:00 pm, followed by her interment in Westlawn Cemetery.

Garth Christianson
1950-2010
Garth was suddenly taken from us much too early on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at home in Taber, Alberta, at the age of 60.
Garth leaves to mourn his partner Marie; his mother, Lil Christianson; along with his daughter, Melanie Bromley (Jeff) and son, Wade (Chantal) of Cranbrook; along with two wonderful grandsons, Justin and Jacob, all of Cranbrook; his sister, Lynn Downey (Laurie) of Oakville, Ontario and nephews, Blair and Jackson, also of Oakville.
Born in Cranbrook, Garth grew up and graduated from Mt. Baker High School in 1968.
Following that, he apprenticed as a meat-cutter with Overwaitea, in Kimberley, starting in 1972, and after gaining his trade as a butcher, Garth stayed with the company, working in many different B.C. cities until 1999.
Garth then relocated to Taber, Alberta, where he continued to ply his trade with IGA Foods.
Garth was an avid fisherman and loved spending time with a rod in his hand at the closest lake and fondly remembered spending summer days fishing at ‘Seven Mile’ with his father, Glen.
Garth was predeceased by his father, Glen Christianson in 2004.
In lieu of flowers those wishing to remember Garth can do so by casting a line into their favourite river, stream or lake or by just taking a moment to enjoy the day.
Cremation took place, with arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Service, and at Garth’s request there will be no funeral service.
There will be an open house for family, friends and all those wishing Celebrate Garth’s Life at the Bromley’s at 1432 Southview Drive, Cranbrook, B.C., on Friday, May 28, 2010 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
Bridget Haleigh Westgate, born to Brenda and Carl Polier, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28, 2010, at Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta, after battling a brain tumour for 3 years.
She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Jon; daughters: Sydney (aged 8) and Payton (age 5); parents, Carl and Brenda Polier; brother, Caz; sisters: Billi Jo and Brandi; niece Lanae and grandparents Glen and Rosemary Giles.
Bridget lived life with exuberance and joy.
The centre of her world were her two children, Sydney and Payton.
She found her way into many hearts with her light-hearted and carefree spirit, which she used in hosting exquisite parties, so that she could be surrounded by people.
She was well known in the community for her pies, and many people came up to her around town, saying how they missed those “yummy pies"!
She will always be the "pie girl".
Her joy was touching other peoples' lives, and she touched many.
She will be deeply missed and always loved.
A memorial service for Bridget will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, in Cranbrook on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 2:00 pm.
A private family Interment will be held at a later date.

Matthew (Matt) Nuspl
January 1, 1927 - April 13, 2010
After a short stay in the East Kootenay Regional Hospital, Matt passed away peacefully at the age of 83.
In his 40 years of living in Cranbrook, he enjoyed the outdoors, golfing, bowling, and curling.
In his retirement from Finning, Matt enjoyed his backyard wood shop and took great pride in making beautiful custom furniture for his family members.
Matt enjoyed his yard work, and any animals that he encountered, other than the crows.
He is survived by his beloved family.
His wife, Clara of 56 years; three sons: Cliff and Charlaine of Edmonton, Jim and Nelly of Vancouver, Al and Sharon of Cranbrook; one daughter, Dianne and James LeClair of Cranbrook; one grandson, Brad Nuspl of Edmonton; three granddaughters: Michelle and Patrick Grant of St. Albert, Danielle Nuspl of Edmonton, and Nicole Nuspl of Cranbrook; three great-granddaughters: Cora, Cailin and Abbey Grant of St. Albert.
He is also survived by his brother Joe and Shirley Nuspl of Neilburg, Saskatchewan; and a sister-in-law, Lorna Nuspl of Petersfield, Manitoba.
Matt was predeceased by his parents, John and Elizabeth Nuspl and one brother, John Nuspl, Jr.
There will be a celebration of life held at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook, Saturday, April 17, 2010 between 6:30pm and 8:30pm.
All are welcome to join and reminisce.

Brent Ronald Pighin
1985 - 2010
Brent Ronald Pighin born April 4, 1985 in Cranbrook, British Columbia went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2010.
It is with the deepest, deepest sorrow that the family announces the tragic news of Brent's passing just 6 days before his 25th birthday.
Precious, forever cherished son of Ron and Marisa Pighin; much loved brother to Robert (Traci) and Brandon (Erin); beloved grandson to his always treasured "nonna", Santina Sartorel; nephew to John, Bruno (Michelle) Sartorel, Rosanna (Lawrence) Shubert; much loved and looked up to cousin of Adam, Aaron and Andrew Shubert and Emily Sartorel; nephew to Judy (Harold) Kriese, Gary (Joanne) Pighin, Maurice, Norman (Leanne) Pighin, Patsy (Wayne) Marcer; respected cousin of Troy (Chantelle) and Lori (Jason) Kriese, Stacey (Adam) and Darren Pighin, Krista (Neil) and Tyler (Natasha) Pighin, Rosanna (Sebastian) and Travis Marcer (Jessie). Brent was predeceased by his grandfather, Robert Pighin Sr., "nonno", Bruno Sartorel, Sr. and grandmother, Yvonne Pighin.
Brent was a guy who lived life to the very fullest.
He brought immense joy to all who knew and loved him.
He had a special way about him in his relationships with people and it didn't matter if you were 5 or 60, his ability to connect with you, was totally perfect.
Brent was an inspiration to everyone who knew him.
Travel, bull riding and a hard day of work were all a part of who Brent was, but above all, family was his main focus - he loved his family dearly and would do anything for them. He lived his life for his family.
Brent's love for his brothers was immeasurable and the sacred bond that they share between them, will always remain a part of their solid sense of being.
Brent had a very close relationship with God; he possessed a strong faith that never faltered.
He knew the Lord was always in his midst.
It didn't matter who you were, or from what walk of life you came, Brent could connect; he never judged, but instead, accepted people for who they were.
He could click with anyone.
Brent was a passionate hockey player and continued to play at a Beer League level with his work mates in recent years.
Fishing, hunting, horseback riding, weightlifting, swimming and golf with a mean hockey swing - to name but a few of Brent's hobbies.
He loved his country music which you could hear before you could see the truck!
You always knew when Brent was just around the corner.
Brent could often be found at the rodeos in Eureka, and he loved the Wycliffe Rodeo in August.
Brent loved to sing and dance - the two step was his specialty!
He made a point of always having fun - he made the best of circumstances and just generally dealt with what came his way.
Brent was not a quitter and when he was faced with challenges, he took things head on and did what needed to be done. "Git r' done" was his motto!
Brent has left a huge hole in the hearts of all.
He will be greatly missed by his family, his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many many friends.
"PIGHIN" may you rest in peace - "The best damn cowboy that ever lived."
A prayer service was held at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook for Brent on Friday, April 2, 2010.
His funeral mass was held on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the Cranbrook Alliance Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Brent may be made to: The B.C. Chapter of Canadian Amputee Golf Association, which will assist Brent’s good buddy, Mike on his journey.

John Conrad Migneault
John Conrad Migneault (Johnnie Conn, Migs) left this world on his own terms, on Sunday, January 5th, 2020, after a valiant fight with cancer.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years Val, his daughter, Tara (Will); grandchildren, Brennan, Jordan, Brady; son, Justin; grandchildren, Phoenix, Ryker, Amayah; son, Trevor (Gail); grandchildren, Baylie and Keagen.
His siblings, Brian (Dianne), Kevan (Cathie), Shane (Diane), Jason (Carmel) and sister, Desi (Bernie) and sister-in-law, Jan (Doug) Banks.
Also left behind to cherish his memory, are Shawna, Naava numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends.
Predeceased by his parents, John and Bette, older brothers, Monte, Mick and Kim; sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Anyone who knew John, knew his world revolved around hockey.
From his professional career to rec hockey, it encompassed his whole life.
The HABS performance of late had given him great frustration, causing him to refer to them as the "Horrible HABS".
He had many talents, unbeknownst too many, was his gift for writing.
His carpentry skills are evident in the home he built for Val and himself, taking pride in its beauty.
His passion for gardening shone in its glory when you came to his home, and as close friends know he always said, “Stay off my Grass!”.
John always referred to his home in Kimberley as “God's country”.
He's now gone on his new journey to reunite with his family, friends and beloved dog, Gebeau, that also had passed over the years.

Letitia “Louie” Ann Garvin née Lyttle
September 23, 1941 to December 28, 2016
It is with deep sadness, the we announce the passing of Louie Garvin, on December 28, 2016.
She passed softly into the arms of her Lord, with her husband, daughters and son-in-law by her side.
She is survived by her husband, Bill, her daughters, Alison (Sean) and Julie, grandsons, Brendan and Connor and her sister, Margaret (Louis, Amanda, Nicola).
A Celebration of her life took place at 1 pm, on January 11, at the Kitimat Presbyterian Church.
