REGEHR, Karl
November 28, 1951 - October 9, 2009
Passed suddenly into the presence of God in the early morning of Friday, October 9, 2008, at the age of 57.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barb (Jaster) of just 363 days and her children, Becky and Josh Mikolasek of Kelowna, B.C., Karl's cherished daughters, Wanda (Vince) Jordan of Inglis, MB, and Carlene (Brent) Penner of Calgary, AB; his five adoring grandchildren, Leif, Zach, Jacob, Jorja and Logan; his grieving parents, John and Betty Regehr of Kelowna; as well as his three sisters, Eleanor (Dave) Clerk of Fredericton, NB, Sue (Brian) West of Sardis, B.C. and Alaine (Randal) Bartsch, of Langley, BC; his nieces and nephews, Jordan (Carmen) West, Ashley (Nathaniel) Krieger, Mandy West, Madison Bartsch and Amore Bartch; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; his wife's family, Gerda Jaster, Deb (Tim) Grauman, Matt Grauman and Cassie (Colin) Haines, and his many, many friends and business associates of more than 20 years, from Primerica Financial Services.
Many referred to Karl as the "Friendly Giant".
He will be remembered by his positive attitude, calm soothing voice, infectious smile, huge bear hugs and heart of gold.
He had a servant's heart was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever he could.
He was a loyal and committed husband, father, step-dad, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.
Karl loved his family and more than anything enjoyed being a Grandpa.
He had a passion for photography and was always able to capture the perfect picture that no one else could.
His other passion was his BMW motorcycle which took him to many destinations throughout Canada, USA, Europe and northern Africa.
A viewing will be held on Thursday evening, October 15, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Everden Rust Funeral Home, 1910 Windsor Road, Kelowna, B.C.
All are welcome to a Celebration of Karl's life on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Willow Park Church, 439 Highway 33, Kelowna, B.C.
Reception to follow.

Kardos, Tibor passed away peacefully with his beloved wife at his side on Friday, October 9, 2009, at the age of 78.
Survived by his wife, Maria, his children, Laszlo (Theresa), Anita (Chris) and Andrea, grandchildren, Alex, Natasha and Nicole.
Born in Sumeg, Hungary, to Gyula and Terez Kardos, he travelled the world before settling with Maria in Squamish, B.C., to raise his family.
The last seven years were spent in the beautiful Okanagan Valley.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Our Lady of Lourdes, 2547 Hebert Road, West Kelowna.

To all family and friends - It is with great sadness, we announce Jacques Passing on October 9, 2009.
Born in Gendringen, Holland, August 11, 1949, married October 10, 1970, and came to Canada in 1970.
Predeceased by his parents, Guus and Helene of Gendringen, Holland.
Jacques leaves behind his wife, Trudy of 39 years; daughters, Vanessa (John), Candace (Adam), son Andrew and four grandchildren.
Jacques was known for his generosity to those in need.
He was also an accomplished businessman in Toronto and Kelowna.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to "The Jacques Education Foundation".
(This foundation is setting up a school in conjunction with an existing orphanage in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.)

EAGLE, Malcolm "Mac" was born June 21, 1921 in Dauphin, Manitoba, and passed away on October 9, 2009 in Kelowna, B.C.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Gloria and his three children: Dawn, David (Hope), Kathleen; five grandchildren; Bruce and Denyse McKay and many caring nieces and nephews.

BRAU, Nellie Nellie Brau passed away on Friday, October 9, 2009, at the age of 89.
She is survived by her loving husband, Albert; daughter, Claudia Salomaa (Rainer) of Calgary; son, Charles Ranchie (Kassie) of Aldergrove, BC; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and two sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 19, 2009, at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, B.C.
Interment to follow in Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.
BEVERLEY Anne Matthews
September 30, 1938 - August 16, 2009
Passed away peacefully on August 16th, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born September 30, 1938 in St. Boniface, Manitoba, to father, Robert Mcnutt (deceased), and survived by her mother, Gertrude Mcnight.
Shelia Cooper (sister) and Bob Mcnutt (brother).
Devoted mother to Brock (Arlene) Mitschke, Naomi Goltz, Stephanie (Ken) Bitschy and Lindsey (Gary) Crawford.
Grandmother and great-grandmother and extended family and friends.
Beverley was a very active and faithful member of First Lutheran Church and served the Lord all her life.
We would like to thank the nursing staff on 4B at
Kelowna General Hospital and the amazing staff at the Kelowna Hospice House.
All donations may be made to the Kelowna Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2009, at 11:00 a.m., from the First Lutheran Church, 4091 Lakeshore Road, Kelowna.

PETERSON, Lorrel - Passed away peacefully in Kelowna, on October 17, 2011.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sue, sons; Trevor (April) and Blaine (Pam) grandchildren; Brady, Colton and Brayden; also large extended family, as well as work and Masonic family.
Lorrel was very active in Kelowna Vintage Car Club and Masonic Lodge and concordant bodies. ,
A Masonic funeral and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 1:00pm at The Coast Capri Hotel in the Horizon Room, 1171 Harvey Ave., Kelowna.
