Thomas Michael Wolf
December 29, 1986 - June 28, 2009
Tom was born December 29, 1986 in Prince George, B.C.
Then moved with his family to Smithers, in 1993.
Tom's life was tragically taken, at the age of 22, as a passenger in an automobile accident in the early morning of June 28, 2009 in Smithers, B.C.
Tom was predeceased by his Grandpa Armstrong in 2000, his sister, Nicole in 2001, his brother, Austin in 2002, his Oma, in 2007 and his father, Mike Wolf, May 2, 2009.
Tom is survived by his mother, Barbara, sister, Meghan (23) and brothers, Eric (18) and Dallas (5).
Also his uncles, Ken/Vicki Armstrong, Tim/Cecilia Armstrong, aunties, Eveline/Steve Kolida and Melanie/Rod Worth and numerous cousins.
Tom loved the outdoors especially fishing.
He was working as an apprentice in Alberta, as a pipefitter, and would come home on his days off, to be with his family and close friends.
Tom made a difference in the lives of so many people because of all he was, and all he did for others.
It won't be the same without him; he was such a good young man and had so much going for him and many things he was looking forward to doing.
Such as getting married and having children of his own some day.
He loved playing and taking his five-year-old brother, Dallas, fishing and doing things his father would have done.
He was a big help, since his father passed away this May.
Life just won't be the same without him.
Tom was dearly loved by his family and friends and all who knew him.
He is sadly missed by all and not a day that goes by that we don't think about him.
We love you, Tom, and carry you in our hearts forever.
Love Mom, Meghan, Eric, and Dallas.
A funeral service for Tom was held on Saturday, July 4, at the Smithers Canadian Reformed Church.
Interment took place in the Smithers Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes made to a trust fund for Tom's five-year-old brother, would be appreciated and can be sent to Barb Wolf, P.O. Box 2528, Smithers, B.C., V0J 2N0.
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day.
No longer in our life to share,
But in our hearts he is always there.
Why?
Perhaps one day we'll understand
Why God decided to take your hand
And lead you into Heaven above
Surrounded by his tender love.
Never does a day pass by
That we don't ask the question why?
Why did God take our precious son?
Was it something we had done?
We hope to face the Lord one day
And ask him why you couldn't stay
On earth with those who loved you so,
Those who wanted to see you grow.
We mourn for the things that will not be,
For the things with you, we'll never see.
The fun and games we'll never share,
For special times when you won't be there.
No more to see your smiling face,
Nothing will ever take its place,
In our hearts you will always stay,
While we await that "One Sweet Day."
That "One Sweet Day," in Heaven above,
Where we will meet and affirm our love.
Once more our arms will hold you tight,
As in God's presence we'll reunite.
Until that day, we must live our lives
Ensuring each memory of you survives,
And feel your presence, ever near,
Each time we shed each painful tear.
"See you in Heaven," you'll hear us say,
As you watch over us every day,
Then when our lives on earth are done
We know you'll be the one to come.
You'll take us gently by the hand,
And lead us to God's heavenly land,
Where all together we will be,
Our, once more, happy family.
