MacGREGOR, John "Angus"

MacGregor, John "Angus" born September 15, 1948, was taken away from us suddenly on September 13, 2009.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 20 years, Kim and their daughter, Samantha.
He is also remembered by his brothers, Stuart (Kathlyn) and Neil; nephews, Christopher, Jeffrey and Patrick; niece, Lisa; many relatives and many, many good friends.
John will be remembered for putting his family first, then friends and then his work.
He would drop everything to go for a ride.
His passion and commitment to the AA program impacted countless lives.
We often heard John say "Sun's out, time to go for a ride."
A Celebration of John's Life will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre 14831 - 28th Avenue, Surrey, B.C.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Cross Equipment Loaner Program.

Passed away peacefully Saturday, September 12th, 2009, in the Langley Hospital from complications after hip surgery.
Alex leaves his loving wife, Judy; daughter, Susan; grandchildren, Bradley; Mitchell, Vanessa, Quinton, Jolene, nieces, Janette Milburn, Cloverdale; Margaret Minet, Markham ON; Dorothy Crowe, Port Moody; nephew, Bob Milburn, Barriere & their families.
Predeceased by brothers, Lloyd Milburn & Bob Milburn, Sr.

Age 77, Born August 25, 1932; passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2009.
Survived by his wife, Shirley Tickner, children; Stephen, Rochelle & Charlene.
Also survived by his 2 sisters; Louise & Madelaine, as well as 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
He will be missed as much as he was loved and there are no good-byes, for you will live forever in our hearts.

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden, but peaceful, passing of Helen in her daughter's home.
Helen was born in Ladysmith.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Fred in 1979, her brother, Alex and sisters, Margaret and Hazel.
She will be missed by her children, Jeanette (Mike), Shirley (Don), Rodney (June), Gary (Lisa); her nine grandchildren, Jeff, Bradley, Julie, Brenda, Andrew, Laura, Rachel, Benjamin, Rebecca; seven great-grandchildren; her sister-in-laws, Ruth Meek and Thordis Reedel, and many nieces and nephews.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She will live in our hearts forever.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Newton Fellowship, 7328 144th St, Surrey.
DAYKIN, HAROLD CALVERT
February 4, 1925 - August 30, 2009
Born February 4th, 1925; Died August 30th, 2009, age 84.
He will be remembered by many chess fans as a staunch advocate in promoting the game in elementary schools.
For over twenty years, he volunteered countless hours teaching and coaching children from kindergarten up, and helping in the organizing province wide youth chess tournaments.
Harold is survived by his loving wife, Mary, his children, Gail, Bruce, Rachel, and Paul; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and his brother, Philip.
He is predeceased by his brothers Victor and Nigel.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 5th, 2009, at 3:00pm at Bethany Newton United Church, 14853 60th Ave, Surrey, B.C.
Mary Ellen Forsman
1929 - Aug 18, 2009
Passed away on August 18, 2009 at Queens Park Hospice in New Westminster after her battle with cancer.
Her husband, John Forsman predeceased her in 2007.
Mary was full of life and will be sadly missed by her sister, Jean Whitlock (Niven) her sister-in-law, Mary Lou Grabowsky (Forsman) and her many nieces and nephews.
She was a loving sister, sister in-law, and aunt.
Mary was born in 1929, in Drumheller, Alberta, the family moved to Fort Steel, in 1939.
Mary attended school in Fort Steel, and later, in Cranbrook; she graduated from nursing at St. Eugene School of nursing, then completed her training at St. Paul's hospital in Vancouver.
She then worked at St. Paul's and later at Surrey Memorial Hospital until she retired.
She and John enjoyed much of their time at the cabin on Stave Lake, with their friends and neighbours.
A memorial service will be held on September 2 at 1:00pm at the Cloverdale Legion, Branch #6 at 17567 - 57 Avenue, Cloverdale.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Mary may make a donation in her memory to either the B.C. Cancer Foundation or Surrey Memorial Foundation.

CAMERON, Frank Alexander, much loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Monday, August 10, 2009 at the age of 95 in Langley, B.C.

Born in Copthorne Sussex, England, on August 6th, 1922.
Predeceased by her husband; Jack, son; Laurie, daughter; Jacquie, grandsons: Duane and Murray.
Survived by her daughter, Anne (John) and daughter-in-law, Brigitte (Tom), grandchildren; Kevin (Karen), Corey, Wes, Todd, Terri, and Kim, great-grandchildren; Marisa, Jett, Sydney and Kade.
Funeral Service will be held at Christ Church, 16613 Bell Road, Surrey, B.C., on Friday, August 28, 2009 at 2:00pm.
Followed by an inurement in the church cemetery and a tea in the church hall.
