Al passed away peacefully in Prince George Regional Hospital on February 8th, 2009. Al will be lovingly remembered by his wife Arlene, his children Tracy and Doug (Tammy), his cherished granddaughters Kimmie and Jacquie, Sisters Lois, Diane, June and Janice and their families, and surrogate children Denise and Delbert. Al will be sorely missed by his faithful companions, Kito and Jose. No service by request. J. Harold Bogle QC, died surrounded by his family on Friday, July 5, 2002 in Prince George after a lengthy illness. He was born August 1, 1931 in Londonderry, Nova Scotia, son of the late Alfred Edward and Myrtle Alena (Gamble) Bogle. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Anne, as well as their devoted children Nancy, North Vancouver, B.C., John (Allison) and Meredith, Prince George, B.C., grandchildren John Duncan and Meredith Lucy, North Vancouver, B.C., sisters, Charlotte (Reid) Mac Vicar, Londonderry, NS., Edith Bogle, Grosse Pointe, Mich., USA, brother, Lloyd (Helen), Stewiacke, NS and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by infant sister Janet andstep father Cornelius D. Richard. Harold served with the Korean Special Force from 1950 - 1952. Thereafter, attended Acadia University graduating with a BA in 1956 and Dalhousie University with LLB 1959. He was admitted to the Alberta Bar 1960and to the British Columbia Bar 1966. After practicing in Edmonton and Penticton, he opened his law office in Prince George, B.C. in 1967. Harold was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Royal Canadian Legion and the Korea Veteran's Association. Afine gentleman; loved and respected by all who knew him. A Memorial service will be held Thursday, July 11, 2002, 2:00 pm at the Knox United Church, Prince George, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the J. FREDERIKSEN, Lars Martin passed away at his residence on July 16, 2002 in Salmon Arm, B.C. HRECHKA, William (Bill)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandfather on the afternoon of July 10, 2002, at the age of 85 years. Born in Prince George, B.C., October 8, 1916. Bill is survived by his son, Troy Hrechka (Lisa), daughter, Vanessa Visona (Steve), daughter Hope Krogstad (Andy) of Vernon, son, Allan Wilson of Coquitlam, daughter, Gloria Hrechka of Victoria and son, David Hrechka of Victoria. Grandchildren Tiawna, Natasha, Jordan, Kevin, Ann, June and other extended family. He was predeceased by his brothers Henry, Alec and John, and his sisters, Nellie and Pauline. Bill was the last surviving member of a family who were pioneers of PG. He served his country in WW2 and fought in the Battle of Italy as a foot soldier. He was a member of the 1st BN Irish Fusiliers based in New Westminster. After the war, he spent some time in Vancouver before returning to PG to purchase the family farm (located in Miworth), from his father, William Sr. Bill worked in construction as a carpenter for many years in PG. Bill's passion was his farm where he raised cattle, hayed the fields and grew a garden up until the time of his death. He was a generous man who lived a long and healthy life. He will be sorely missed and always loved by his family and those he touched. We love you Papa. As per Bill's request, there will be no funeral service. Cremation. Family and friends are invited to the farm in Miworth on Sunday, July 21, 2:00pm to gather in remembrance of Bill.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our oldest daughter Harmony. She will be dearly missed. She is loved and will be remembered by her daughters: Oceana, Kiara and Kimber-Lynne; her parents Chris and Faith, her brothers: James, Robert, Jason and John; her sisters: April and Mary; her nieces and nephew Diza, Trinity and Logan; extended family and many dear friends. A memorial service will be held at Assman's Funeral Chapel at 1908 Queeensway St., Prince George on Friday February 27th, 2009. Viewing from 12:00 to 1:00, service beginning at 1:00 with Susan Scott officiating. A private reception will be held following the service.

Kenneth Carl Roberts departed this life on February 15,2009 at the age of 65. He is Survived by his loving wife Joyce, Daughters Gloria (Nick) Schaus of Prince George and Sherrielynne Conn and granddaughter Candy of Kamloops. Ken was adored by his 2 grandsons Nicki and Taylor Schaus. No Service by request.
Noel Frechette
It is with deepest sorrow that Noel's family wishes to announce his passing. Noel passed away on February 15th 2009. Noel is survived by his wife of over 45 years Dawne. Also remembering Noel are his children, Kathy (David) Kronebusch, Belinda (Kevin) Barrett and Vernon (Cindy) Frechette. Noel also leaves behind many relatives and friends to mourn his passing. At Noel's request there will be no funeral service but a celebration of Noel's life will be held at First Baptist Church at 5th Avenue and Gillette Street at 1:00 pm until 4:00pm Saturday February 21st. Richard, passed away July 7, 2002, at the age of 49 years. Vern is survived by his wife Silvia, sons Andy and Henning, daughter Victoria, his parents in Germany, numerous other relatives and many friends. Bernie was born in Brandon Manitoba. Bernie passed away peacefully at Parkside Care Home in Prince George, B.C. with his loving son at his side. Bernie was very proud to have served as a medic with the army, navy and air force during the Korean War. Bernie had a love for the water, short wave radio and Welsh Corgis'. He had a helping hand in starting Creston Radio Club and for a number of years help with the maintenance. Some of the many enjoyments Bernie had was fishing, traveling and lunches out every Saturday. He moved to Prince George in 2005 to be near his son and grandchildren. Bernie was predeceased by his loving wife Lillian, Mother Kathleen and Father Frank, and his sister Marie. Survived by his sister Margret, son Larry (Karen) and daughter Catherine (John) Jensen. Grandchildren Nicole (Jamie Crawford), Danielle (Sean Quin), Jaime (David) Medford. Great Grandchildren Michelle, Emma, Jayden, Kayla and many nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be a private family memorial.
