HUNT - Sandra Lee (nee) MacPherson. Born December 7, 1941, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away suddenly on Friday June 16, 2000, in Vancouver. Sandra is survived by her loving husband and friend, Kazimir Golac, daughter Gianna Hunt, mother Iona MacPherson, sister Karen Caruso (Peter), brother Alex MacPherson (Tamie), nieces Jennifer and Stephanie Caruso and friends the world over. Sandra was a pioneering member of her community and the arts, founding Vancouver's first co-operative art gallery, Vancouver Kindercare and The Creative Dance Centre on Granville Street. KEHOE - Cyril Francis passed away peacefully June 19, 2000 at Brock Fahrni Pavilion in Vancouver. BICKERTON - George. Born in Blyth, England on January 7, 1906. Predeceased by his loving wife, Winnie, of 62 years and son Terry. He arrived in Fenn, Alberta in 1928 and with the family moved to Vancouver in 1940. He retired from the City of Vancouver in 1970. George enjoyed his home - the flowers and tomatoes that he grew. His favourite saying was "Never mind the dog, beware of the owner." He will be lovingly remembered by daughters Pat Berrettoni and Penny Bickerton; granddaughter Michelle; grandson Michael (Tricia) and great-granddaughter Daniella. George gave himself to all who asked and unconditional love to his family. Celebration of life to be held on Thursday, December 7, at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby. BORGOMI - George passed away on December 1st, 2000 in Burnaby General Hospital after a long fight with cancer. His passing was made much more comfortable with the loving care of the nursing staff and his team of doctors in the Palliative Care 2D unit. Born in Italy January 15th, 1925, George has been retired since 1991 from an enjoyable and successful 27 year career with B.C Hydro. He leaves behind his loving wife Ruth and her son Marcus and wife Erin; his son Dennis, wife Carol and grandchildren Lisa and Alex; son John and wife Cathy; and son Allan. George will be deeply missed by his cousin Valeria in Italy and his sister and brother-in-law in Germany. The void he leaves can never be filled and the abundance of love he gave us will continue to warm our hearts. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 7th, 2000 at 2 p.m. at Highlands United Church, 3255 Edgemont Blvd., North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

CAMERON - Lily (nee Burnley), passed away in Central Park Manor, December 1, 2000 at 89 years of age. Born in Leeds, England, July 8, 1911, pre-deceased by her husband Len and son Tommy. CLAYTON - Walter Charles (Chuck) born St. James, Manitoba, February 19, 1924. Passed away peacefully at home in Tsawwassen, Delta, on December 2, 2000. Predeceased by his parents, George and Violet Clayton; beloved sister Mary Hilda Paxton. Those who shared his love, his wife Grace; children and families, Ken and Marilyn, Terry and Marilyn, Juanita and Ed; his beloved grandchildren Sean, Matt, Julie and Dan; brother George (Bella); brother-in-law Harold Hinson (Elaine), numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Chuck served in the RCAF, followed by eleven years for the Great Northern Railway, and finally a long sales and management career in the construction and diamond drilling industries. Chuck will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour, warm friendly smile, and never-wavering passion for life. DELONG - Annie passed away peacefully November 28th, 2000 in Burnaby Hospital in her 90th year. Annie will be sadly missed by her son Denis, daughter-in-law Estelle, brother Bob, and sister Dorothy, also her many relatives and friends. Annie was born in New Westminster July 16th, 1910. She lived in North Burnaby for the last 36 years. Annie was a long time member of the Eastern Star. She was also very involved in volunteer work for the Cancer Society and Canuck Place. HAYASHI - Dennis Shigekazu passed away suddenly on December 2, 2000 in Revelstoke, B.C. at the age of 77 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Yaeko; their three children, Allyson Hayashi, Stewart (Iwona) Hayashi, and Pat (Dave) Pranzl; and two grandchildren, Nicole and Nataly. He is also survived by two sisters and one brother. Dennis was predeceased by one infant daughter, Joyce Marie. A funeral service will be held at the Revelstoke United Church on Wednesday, December 6, at 1 p.m., with Reverend Harvie Barker officiating. MILLMAN - Doreen Evelyn (nee Perkins), born September 19th, 1932 in Vancouver, B.C., passed away peacefully at St. Paul's Hospital at 11 a.m. May 6th, 2000. She will truly be missed and always loved by her family; her husband Robert; her children, Mark (Teresa), Paul (Andre), Janis (Keith); her grandchildren, Luke (Bobbie), Joseph, Aaron, Eamon, Owen and Laura; her great-grandchildren, Trent and Kaley; her brother David (Martha) and family; and her many friends. Doreen was a generous spirit, who touched the hearts of many. She was a popular speaker, who fought to remove the stigma of AIDS in our community; and received the honour of giving the keynote address at the 1996 World AIDS Conference in Vancouver. PANTILUK - William "Westcoast" peacefully passed away at the Royal Columbian Hospital on Sunday, May 7th 2000 at the age of 66. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Shirley, of 48 years, son Rocky and daughter-in-law Jane; brothers Bob (Dianne) and John (Debbie); sister Naina and Sonia; 3 grandsons, Paul (Karen), Martin and Tony; 4 great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends; and especially his buddy Angus. William was born in Edmonton on November 25th, 1933, the son of Ukrainian immigrants and travelled the world in his youth in the Merchant Marine until he established roots in Vancouver. William worked at Carling Brewery for 37 years until he retired in 1988, dividing his time between tending his blueberry farm and fishing at Pender Harbour. There will be a viewing on Thursday, May 11th, from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. at the Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Rd., Richmond, B.C.
