JENNER - Lucille M. - Born September 21, 1902 in Wisconsin, USA. Passed away December 14, 2000 at Kiwanis Care Centre, North Vancouver BC at the age of 98. Predeceased by her loving husband Bill in 1991. Survived by her loving family, 3 children, Adele (Gerry) Lee, Gary (Faye) Jenner, Sharon (Tom) Gray, 7 grandchildren, Guy, David, Brenda, Lisa, Scott, John and Jason and 7 great grandchildren. Prayers will be held at 7:30 pm Tuesday December 19, 2000. Funeral Mass at 11:00 am, Wednesday December 20, 2000 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 2725 Lonsdale Ave, North Vancouver. Interment to follow at the Gardens of Gethsemani. Donations may be made to the Kiwanis Care Centre.

KISS - Mr Edmund Mike Kiss died in Vernon, B.C. on December 13th, 2000 at the age of 78 years. He was a resident of the Revelstoke, Merritt and Vernon areas for many years. Survived by 3 daughters, 1 step-son, 2 step-daughters and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife Ann in 1992 and 1 step-son, Jack Michels in 1999. LUBZINSKI - Phyllis Leollia, of Oliver, formerly of Keremeos, passed away peacefully in the South Okanagan Hospital, Oliver, BC on December 14, 2000 at the age of 85 years. She is survived by her loving family, sons, Ronald Lubzinski of Parksville, BC and Robert (Cherry) Lubzinski of Oliver, as well as four grandchildren, Suzanne, Shelley, Doug and Tammy (Todd). MATTICK - Doris J. (nee Duckworth), born July 26, 1913 in Stettler, Alta., passed away peacefully in Cloverdale on December 12th, 2000 in her 88th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Bill in April 1983, she is survived by her 3 sons, Gene, Ray, and Earl and their respective families; her dear sister Marie Firth and her family. Doris was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, #50, Langley for over 65 years. She was a longtime volunteer with the Cancer Dressing Society and a Cub Scout leader during the fifties in the Brookswood area of Langley. On Saturday, December 16th, a small funeral service was held with family in attendance. In accordance with Doris' wishes, an announcement will be made in January for a memorial tea at the Masonic Hall in Langley. BULYCZ - Max, age 59 years, beloved husband of 39 years of Mrs. Elley Bulycz, passed away at Surrey Memorial Hospital on October 18, 2000 after a valiant battle with cancer. Besides his loving wife, Max is also survived by his son Brad (Deanna), one daughter Lori (Gary), four grandchildren, Spencer, Matthew, Jared and Rhiannon, and also by one sister Olga (husband Ervin and daughter Brenda), one brother Lance, and by many beloved friends. Max was very well known in the tire industry. He was a loving and devoted father and grandfather and had a helluva good time golfing. A Celebration of Max's life will be held at Chateau Cargill, 3550 King George Hwy., Surrey on Thursday, October 26, 2000 with the service at 1:00 p.m. and a reception to follow. GAIR - Lisa passed away peacefully October 20, 2000 at Eagle Ridge Hospital. Born October 10, 1968, our sweet and beautiful Lisa was taken from us much too soon. She fought an amazing battle against cancer, using the strength of love from her son Justin and her daughter Stephanie. Lisa will be sadly missed by her father Kai Hansen, mother and best friend Jenni, sister Cindy, and brothers Jerry and Keith. Special thanks to Chris and Rissey Gair, and to the Gair and Carr families. As well, thank you to Lisa's many friends for their shared love and support. Our Lisa embraced life like no other. Her enthusiasm and wonderful sense of humour shone in her bright eyes and endless smile. A gracious young woman who cared deeply for people. She taught her children compassion and consideration.
