RANKIN - Michael Gordon, August 2nd, 1943 in North Vancouver - May 6th, 2000 on Quadra Island.
He leaves behind family: wife, Gail; daughters Michelle and Katherine; Aunt Ruby Twigg; brother Gary Grant (Vivian and family), of Campbell River; sister Gail Grant-McAssey (Floyd and family), of Victoria; also brothers, sisters and relatives in New Zealand and Australia, as well as many friends, and Norman the family cat.
He is predeceased by fathers: Stan Grant, Ken Rankin and mother Joy Cameron.
Mike worked for many years in construction.
The Cape Mudge Museum was one of his accomplishments.
Fishing was what he loved best, commercial salmon and prawning with his family, cherishing his small troller, the "Monad".
The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and staff at the C.R. Hospital, and home care nurses, Barb and Jackie.
A special thanks to Dr. James, C.R. Hospital.
Donations in Mike's honour may be made to the Quadra Island Salmon Enhancement Society.
A service will be held at a later date at the Quadra Island Legion.

SANDERS - John (Norman), born November 14th, 1916 in Saskatoon, died suddenly but peacefully at VGH on May 7th, 2000 surrounded by family.
Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Eileen; daughter Joan (John); sons Brian (Karen) and Stephen (Jo-Anne); grandchildren Michelle, (Bryan), Leigh-Anne (Keith), Erin, Tyler, Danielle; great-grandson Theo; sister Isabel Parsons; brother Bill; nieces and nephews.
Norman (dad's) kindness and generosity were unlimited, his sense of humour and quick wit extraordinary.
He leaves us with memories of love, laughter and wonderful conversations...
He left us too soon.

She will be dearly missed by her husband Gordon, by his side for 53 years; daughter Lori (Stephen).
Anne was a gentle person who loved her golf and garden in Birch Bay.

STYLES - James Henry, born June 17th, 1936 Isle of Sheppey, Kent, England, beloved husband of Cynthia (nee Ashton) and beloved father of Mark and Edward, passed away peacefully in his sleep early on May 2, 2000.
Jim had just completed 15 years' service as an electronics lab instructor at Kwantlen University College, (Newton, Surrey campus).
He was a member of the New Westminster Symphony Orchestra (Cello Section), and of Surrey's Handel Society Choir.
He is also survived by sisters Elizabeth Cordone (and family) of San Remo, Italy, and by June Styles Moseley of London, England.

WELLINGTON - Clarence R., born July 27th, 1925 in Criss Creek, B.C., passed away suddenly in Burnaby May 8th, 2000.
He is survived by his loving wife and friend of 54 years, Doreen; daughters Lynda (Roy) Priest, Pat Wellington; his grandsons Raymond, Filippe and Jordan; sisters Nell and Margaret; sister-in-law Margaret; as well as his best friend Heidi.
