Norma Viola Cornelson passed away December 4, 2003 peacefully at age 85, after a lengthy illness.
Norma will be dearly missed by her loving family, husband of 40 years Ed, daughter Lynda (Ron), son Ian (Ha) and grandchildren Chris (Lana), Leigh Ann (Scott), Josh (Karen), brother Ken Miller (Betty), sister Shirley Little as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.
Special thanks to the wonderful home support care workers, nutses and doctors.
Graveside service to be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at 1:00 p. m. at Hazelwood Cemetery followed by a Memorial service at 2:00 p. m. in the Chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

SNYDER, ELLEN - Sunday, 07 Dec 2003
Mrs. Ellen Snyder (nee Harder) late of Abbotsford passed into the presence of the Lord December 7, 2003 at the age of 89 years at MSA Hospital. She was born August 9, 1914 in Alsask, Saskatchewan.
She is survived by Lloyd, her loving husband of 57 years, her brother-in-law Clare, sister-in-law Jean and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father Marius Hansen, mother Anna Marie Nielsen and brother Paul Hansen.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2003 at 1:00 p. m. at Immanuel Fellowship Baptist Church at 2950 Bluejay Street, Abbotsford with pastor John Bonham officiating.
Interment to follow at Valleyview Memorial Gardens, Surey, B.C. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gideons.

Eva Matus, a resident of Mission since 1942, born Dec. 24, 1904 passed away Dec. 7, 2003.
Eva was predeceased by her husband Joseph, son, Robert, daughter Irene, granddaughters, Sheila and Caroline.
Survived by sons Emanuel (JoAnn), Ted (Georgina), daughters, Louise (Sandy), Vicki (Don), numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 12th at 11:00 a. m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 32550 7th Ave., Mission, B.C.

Agnete Remple, late of Vancouver, B.C., peacefully went to be with the Lord December 6, 2003 at the age of 88 years. Agnete is survived by her loving family, children; Frieda (Henry) Reimer, Lina (Waldemar) Mensch, Helmut (Katie) Rempel, Anneloore Rempel & Peter (Annie) Rempel, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Else Pilz, late of Abbotsford, B.C. passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at Menno Hospital at the age of 91 years. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing 1 son, Gerhard and his wife Elfriede of Vernon, B.C., 1 daughter, Erna and her husband Karl Hoehn of Abbotsford, B.C., 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Victoria "Vicky" Ondracek passed into the presence of her Lord on December 6, 2003 at MSA Hospital. She was born on June 5th, 1909 in St. Paul, Alberta.
She is survived by her loving husband Albert, dear children Harvey (Val)Price of Barriere, B.C., Penny (Danny) Fry of Ontario, Marge Levesely of Abbotsford, George Price of Port Alberni, Arnie (Hilda) Price of Elk Point, AB, Wayne (Vicci) Price of Mederia Park, B.C., Linda Fehr of Abbotsford, Dwight Price of Port Alberni, B.C. Also survived by Al's children, Butch Ondracek of Eureka, CA, Sharon (Ed) Strauster of Renton, WA, and Shirley-Ann Ankerstein of Prince George, B.C. Will also be missed by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-brother Alex Flumma of Alberta. She was predeceased by her first husband Joseph Price and her daughter Terry Tereposki.
Vicky was a lifetime member with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 169 in Port Alberni and Branch 15 in Abbotsford. She loved music and dancing, but she especially loved her children, her many granchidren and her great-grandchildren. Vicky was so loving and generous. She will be deeply missed.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12, 2003 at 2:00 p. m. from Trinity United Church with Rev. Connie Thompson officiating. A special thank from the family to Dr. White and the nursing staff on the 2nd floor at MSA Hospital.

John Anthony Richer, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2003 at the age of 71 years.
John will be lovingly remembered by Barbara his wife of 48 years; daughter Jane; sons John (Diana) and James (Tamara); grandchildren Jasmine, Michael, Jessica, Siobhan and Andrew; brothers Bill, Eddie and Victor; sisters Joan and Miriam.
A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2003 at 1:00 p. m. at Mission Foursquare Gospel Church, 33837 Prentis Ave., Mission, B.C. with Pastor Barry Buzza officiating. John's sense of humour, fatherly presence and loving heart will greatly be missed. He's finally gone to see the face of his Lord.

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Ball on September 26, 2003, born March 9, 1920 in Hamlin, Alberta.
Dorothy was an active member of Alberta Women's Institute, and with her husband David, raised purebred Shorthorn cattle on the Silver Bell Ranch in Edmonton, Alberta. They moved the ranch to Deroche, B.C. in the late '60's.
Predeceased by her husband of 62 years, David, loving mother of Dan (Eileen) Ball, Ottawa, Lynne (Alex) Thurber, Phoenix, Arizona.
Grandmother of Barbara Eade, Sheila Ball, Kathy Ball, all of Ottawa, Leah Thurber of Phoenix, and Alexis Thurber of Seattle, also great-grandmother of Scott Bowes, Ottawa and predeceased by brother Hobert Perley and granddaughter Brenda Ball. Special friend of Tita Dekker.
Service and reception Monday, September 29, 2003 at 1:00 p. m. from the Chapel of Henderson's Fraser Valley Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford. A graveside service at Westlawn Cemetery, Edmonton will be held at a later date.

Our loving mother Elisabeth passed into the presence of the Lord on Friday, September 26, 2003, at the age of 87.
Born Elisabeth Rempel on January 6, 1916 at Rhineland, SK, she married John Funk in 1937. They farmed in Saskatchewan until moving to B.C. in 1960, living in Abbotsford for three years, then in Salmon Arm where they resided until John's death in January 1995. Elizabeth moved to Abbotsford shortly afterwards, where she made her home until her passing.
She was predeceased by husband John, two grandchildren, three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by five sons, John (Betty) of San Diego, Ca., Otto (Phyllis) of Abbotsford, Pete (Bev) of Surrey, Jim (Jane) of Kamloops, Steve of Abbotsford, and five daughters Judy (Bob) Fairclough of Abbotsford, Eva (Ron) Aish of Drayton Valley, AB, Margaret (Ken) McPherson of Terrace, Trudi (Gerry) Schalm of Penticton, and Pauline (Larry) Christianson of Metiskow, AB, as well as 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 1st at 1:00 p. m. from the Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly (Lucas Centre) at 3145 Gladwin Road in Abbotsford. Friends who wish to view, may do so prior to the service.

Theodorus (Dick) late of Abbotsford, B.C. passed away on September 26, 2003 at age 83 years. He was predeceased by his first wife Alida and son Arie.
Survived by his lobing wife Bera. Children Dick Jr. (Pam), Rena (Norm), Frank (Peg), Gerald (Candice), John, and Sandrea (Dean) with 13 grandchildren. Also 8 stepchildren, 20 step grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren.

Chrystine Helena "Ella" Brown was born on February 29, 1916 in Scotland, and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2003, with her family at her side at Dr. Stuart Pavilion, ECU, Mission, B.C.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Nelson (1966), her infant son Daniel and her infant daughter Mary Jane.
Chrystine is survived by her sons John (Vicki) of Mission, Hugh of Toronto, Sandy (Rebecca) of Abbotsford and Newt (Penny) of Maple Ridge; granddaughters Laura, Cori-lyn and Crispen; grandsons Jack, Dan, Dean and Todd, and their families. She is also survived by her family in Scotland; brother Charles (Jean) Paterson and Jane Paterson; as well as numerous nieces scattered about the globe.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, September 29, 2003 at 11:00 a. m. at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne Street, Mission, B.C.
