Mary, late of Abbotsford, B.C. peacefully went to be with her Lord on February 19, 2003 at the age of 96 years. Predeceased by her husband Henry in 1986, son Henry in 1930 and grandson Cameron in 1985.
Mary is survived by her loving family; children: Margaret (Abe) Schroeder, Henry (Elizabeth), John (Elsie), Helen (Peter) Neufeld, Walter (Lydia), Charlotte Johnson, Hilda (George) Hildebrand, Rudy (Louise), Elvera Corben, Elfrieda (George) Samilski, Hertha (Murray) Springer, 32 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.

Olive Naomia (Angell) of Yarow, B.C. Born on December 11, 1927 in Chester, Idaho. called home by her Lord on February 19, 2003 at Norwood Hospice, Edmonton, AB, at the age of 75. Survived by her loving family, husband of 48 years, Gordon, daughter Dixie Minaker (Charles), Jalene Zirk (David) and Wanda Bootsma (Ed), sons Gordon (Kathy) and Tom, 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend will be missed by all who knew her.
Graveside service on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at 10:30 a. m. in the Carman Cemetery, Promontory Road, Chilliwack. Evelyn May Freke slipped peacefully away at Mission Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, February 18, 2003 approaching 93 years of age. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years Claud and her son-in-law Michael Butcher.
She leaves to mourn her daughter Cynthia, and in England son Julian (Janice), grandchildren Louise (Mark), Thomas and Christina and great-grandson Daniel. Born in Streatham, London in 1910, Evelyn immigrated to Canada at age 63. She was sociable, energetic and fiesty, a great cook and hostess and will be missed by all who knew her.

Mr. Gordon Franklin Livingston, late of Okanagan Falls, passed away on February 18th, at the age of 64 years., at Rainbow Spa, Desert Hot Springs, CA, USA.
He is survived by his wife Lillian Dorothy, sons David Everett and Mark John Gordon, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Gordon was a retired member of the RCAF. He was also an avid golfer and music lover.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 24th, 2003 at 4:00 p. m. from the Chapel of Henderson's Fraser Valley Funeral Home at 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, B.C.

Sent Klooster of Abbotsford, B.C. was called to worship with the Lord on Sunday, February 16, 2003.
He was born on April 12, 1925 in Appelschaa, Friesland, The Netherlands.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Lois Klooster, three children Henry (Carla) Klooster of Leduc, AB, Glenda Wikkerink (Martin) of Leduc, AB. Sid (Melissa) Klooster of Abbotsford, B.C., 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.
He was predeceased by one brother and one granddaughter.
Funeral Services for the late Sent Klooster will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at Immanuel Free Reformed Church, 3386 Mr. Lehman Road, Abbotsford. Interment to follow at Hazelwood Cemetery in Abbotsford.

Thomas Hannah, late of Abbotsford, passed away suddenly on February 16, 2003 at 57 years. He was predeceased by his father Samuel in July 2002 and sister Caroline 1998.
He is survived by Heather, his wife of 32 years, son Scott; mother Caroline of Scotland; brothers John (Jae) of Abbotsford, Samuel, Edward (Lorna), sister Elaine (David) all of England and sister Rita (Alan) of Scotland, mother-in-law Jean McGregor of Scotland, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Kenneth Oliver Bardwell. Born in Benalto, Alberta, March 8, 1924. Dearly beloved husband of Iris, passed away March 13, 2003.
He is survived by two daughters, Karen Bardwell (Clarence) and her two sons, Christopher and Bill, all of Edmonton; Lynne Chennells (Carl) of Penetanguishene, Ontario and her two children, Naomi of Guelph and Eric of Dundas, Ontario. Also survived by his two sisters, Joyce Brown of Vancouver and Alice Price of Squamish, step sister Ruth Harty of Red Deer, Alberta, step brother Enos (Irene) Rasmussen of Eckville, half sister Shirley (Glenn) ryan of Kelowna, half brother Loyal of Red Deer, dear sister-in-law, Ann Rasmussen of Abbotsford and many relatives in England and Canada.
Ken met and married Iris on Octobver 30, 1943, while serving in the Canadian Army. They settled in Canada in 1944. After the War, Ken worked at CFAC, Calgary, then CBC Toronto; Atomic Energy, Chalk River, Department of Energy and Mines and Resources, Physical Metallurgy, Department of Agticulture, Engineering and Stats in Ottawa.
Ken and Iris retired to Abbotsford in 1983. Even though they did not reach their 60th wedding anniversary, they felt they had a wonderful life together.

John Kovacs passed away peacefully into the presence of his Lord on March 7, 2003 at the age of 83 years, at MSA Hospital, Abbotsford, B.C.
He is lovingly remembered and will be missed by his family; Maria, his dear wife of 55 years, daughters Mary (Bob) Coles of Kitimat, Janette Kovacs and her husband Brad Beer of Langley and special granddaughter Suki (Richard) Ford of Vancouver.
John will be truly missed by many close friends.
John immigrated to Canada from Hungary in 1951. He loved the outdoors and was a great fisherman. John took pride in his rose gardens... spending many hours taking care of them.
Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at 2:00 p. m. from St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, 33333 Mayfair Avenue, Abbotsford, B.C., with Father Tien Tran officiating.

Thomas C. V. J., late of Abbotsford, passed away on March 7, 2003. He was predeceased by his loving wife Kay in 1994. He is sadly missed by sons David (Elizabeth) of Anglesey, Britain; Michael (Diane) of Crescent Beach, B.C. ; grandchildren Nicola and Catherine and great-grandson Cameron. Also, sadly missed by his second family, Bill, Lynne, Kathryn and members of Peace Lutheran Church.

HIGGINBOTTOM, EDWIN - Friday, 07 Mar 2003
Edwin Pierre Higginbottom, born December 28, 1918 in Vancouver, B.C., passed away March 7, 2003, in Mission, B.C.
Ed served with the Seaforth Highlanders in Canada, the United Kingdom, Central Mediterranean & Continental Europe, during WW11. He then joined the Provincial Police in 1946 and was a Constable for 4 years, he was discharged to the R. C. M. P. on amalgamation with that force and served with them from August 1950 to November 1966 in Nanaimo, Vancouver and Mission. Ed moved his family to Mission in 1954 and stayed here to retire to his acreage and garden.
Ed was member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #57 and Elks Lodge #30.
He leaves to mourn, his wife of 57 years, Marie, daughters; Tara, Dawn (Doug), grandsons; Vincent (Shannon) and Wesley, grandaughter; Summer and good friend Paul Buttle.
A Celebration of Life will be held March 14, at 2 p. m. at the Elks Hall, 2nd Ave., Mission.

Anna (Kozar) Prokop, born December 5, 1906, in Valley River, Manitoba, passed away peacefully at the age of 96 at Menno Intermediate Nursing Home, Abbotsford, on March 5, 2003.
Anna was predeceased by her loving husband Bill in 1977, a young son Ernie, daughters Lois Grant and Alice Burns, as well as one sister, and six brothers. Anna will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Elizabeth, Richmond Lions Manor, son Walter (Ruby), Winnipeg, Manitoba and son-in-law Jim Grant (Joan), 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
After retirement Anna and her husband moved to Richmond. In 1988, Anna moved to Abbotsford.
The family wish to sincerely thank Dr. Phillip-Stewart and all the staff at Menno Intermediate Nursing Home for their excellent and compassionate care towards Anna, and to Shirley Ruckle for her special friendship with Anna. Anna's son also wishes to acknowledge and thank his niece, Linda Hedges, for the many years of devotion and continuous support so freely given to her grandmother.
A memorial service will he held on March 10, 2003, 1 p. m. at Trinity Memorial United Church, 33737 Hazel St., Abbotsford, with the Reverend Connie Thompson officiating.
