FLEISHAUER, GEORGIA - Saturday, 15 Feb 2003
Georgia D. Fleishauer of Maple Falls, WA., died at the Christian Health Care Center in Lynden, WA., on Saturday, February 15, 2003. She was 76.
Visitation hours will be from 1 - 9 p. m. on Thursday, February 22, at 9:30 a. m. in Sumas Cemetery followed by Funeral Service at 11:30 a. m. in Central Heights Mennonite Church, 1661 McCallum Road, Abbotsford with Rev. Chris Douglas officiating.
The daughter of Pete and Anna (Cornelson) Neufeld, Georgia was born in Beaver, Oklahoma on May 1, 1926. At the age of nine the family moved to Bakersfield, California where she graduated from high school and married Irwin Fleishauer on June 18, 1944. A home maker, Georgia was also employed as the driver of the handicapped bus for the Bakersfield School District. She was also a member of the Rosedale Mennonite Brethren Church and later Central Heights Mennonite Church.
Georgia and Irwin left Bakersfield and moved to Anacortes and then to Whatcom County in 1992.
Besides her parents, she was preceded by a brother Waymen Neufeld and sister Bessie Dean and Josephine VandeVanter.
Mrs. Fleishauer is survived at home by her husband Irwin; son Gary and wife Margaret Fleishauer of Hong Kong; three grand and one great-grandchild; sister Ginger Record and sister-in-law Charlene Kroker, both of Bakersfield, and other relatives.

UNRUH, ANNA - Saturday, 15 Feb 2003
Anna Unruh late of Abbotsford, B.C. passed into the presence of her Lord on February 15, 2003 at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased by her first husband Isaac Martens, her son David, daughter Helga and second husband Abram Dyck.
She is survived by her loving husband Abe and by 5 children, 6 step-children and their families.
Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road on Thursday, February 20 from 7:00 - 9 p. m. A graveside service will be held on Friday February 21 at 9:30 a. m., at Maclure Road cemetery, followed by a memorial service at Clearbrook MB Church, 2719 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, donations to MCC may be made in her memory.

Louise Wiens late of Sherwood Home, Abbotsford, B.C., formerly of Arnold, B.C. passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2003 at age 92 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years Peter A. Wiens; her first son Henry; 2 son-in-laws Roy Malmstrom and Al Fadeeff.
She is survived by 6 children; Ruth (Bill) Cahais, Esther Fadeeff, George (Mary) Wiens, Minna Malmstrom, Mary Louise (Frank) Dyck and Bernie (Rosa) Wiens; 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Irma Willms, late of Abbotsford, B.C., passed away on February 13, 2003 at age 88 years. She was predeceased by her parents Abram and Helene Rempel and daughter-in-law Patricia Willms (nee Friesen).
Survived by her husband Henry Willms; children Walter (Anne), Selma (Alan) Turner, Erika LeClair, Rudy (Eleanor), Marie-Anne (Jake) Dick, John, Vic (Dorothy) and Rick (Amy); 23 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild as well as extended family and friends.
Mrs. Willms was a charter member of South Abbotsford MB Church.
Funeral services will be held on February 20, 2003 at 2:00 p. m. from South Abbotsford, M. B. Church, 32424 Huntingdon Road. Interment to follow at South Poplar Cemetery. She will be fondly remembered for her many prayers on behalf of her family and friends.
GLEIG, ALEXANDER - Tuesday, 11 Feb 2003
Alexander Lorne Gleig, Abbotsford, went to be with the Lord at home, in his 54th year on Thursday, February 6, 2003, following a valiant battle with cancer.
Predeceased by his father Bruce Gleig, he is survived by his loving wife Elaine, step-daughters, Tamara Logan and fiance Keith Lee, and Nicole (Eric) Janzen, granddaughter Katherine Janzen, mother Viola Boyd, step-father Denis Boyd, mother-in-law Mary Norman, sister Carol Banman, nephews Bruce (Sharon) Banman and Scott (Ann) Banman, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Lorne was involved for many years with the International Order of Demolay, was an avid hockey fan and in his youth played guitar in a small band. His most recent hobby of photography gave him the opportunity to study the mountains he loved so much. In his chosen career as a computer programmer, technologist and salesman, he would work tirelessly to assist his customers. A kind and gentle man, willing to help others in any way he could. Lorne will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Stanley Stephen Grymaloski died peacefully at MSA Hospital, Abbotsford, B.C. on February 11, 2003 at the age of 89. He was born in Copeland, Saskatchewan May 8, 1913.
Stanley was predeceased by his wife, Bernice, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, a son and granddaughter. Henry Alexander passed away peacefully on February 11th, 2003 at the age of 96. Predeceased by his loving wife Jane in December 2001.
Survived by his daughter Eleanor, sons Sandy (Maureen), Tom (Lisa). Frandchildren Carla Emery (Colin), Noel, Christine, Elizabeth, Adam, Ian, and great-granddaughter Makaela.
In England, sister Isabel, brother Michael, and many nieces and nephews.

Charles William Wilson passed away on February 9, 2003 at the MSA Hospital at the age of 85 years. He is survived by Bernice, his wife of 59 years; sons Barry of Abbotsford, Terry and his wife Helen of Westbank; granddaughter Donna Wilson and her husband Cameron Chalmers; grandson Bradley Wilson.

Helena Bartel (nee Peters) passed away peacefully at the Menno Home, Abbotsford, B.C. on Feb. 9, 2003 at the age of 102. Born in the Ukraine on Nov. 26, 1900 (third oldest in a family of 9 children.
Helena immigrated to Canada in 1930 and married Peter in 1938 in Rabbit Lake, SK. They moved to Sumas Prairie in 1939 and farmed there until retiring to the Abbotsford area in 1969. Helena, along with Peter, became residents of the Menno Pavilion/Home in 1995. She is predeceased by all her siblings (5 brothers and 3 sisters); her daughter Annie in 1944 and her husband Peter in 1999.
Helena is survived by her two sons, Art (Marlene) of Cloverdale, B.C., Henry (Nancy) of Calgary, AB., grandchildren Ken (Penny), Tammy (Rick), Donna (Mike), Michael (Gail), Paul (Caroline) and 7 great-grandchildren.

Roderick Fraser, born at Dufftown, Scotland April 19, 1924, passed away at Saturna Island July 2, 2003.
Survived by his wife Jacqueline, children Keith, Lynne, Charles and Kevin, 12 grandchildren, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Rod immigrated to British Columbia at the age of 4 years. He served in the R. C. A. F. during WW11, lived and worked as a logger in Ruskin before retiring to Saturna Island. Rod was a piper for the Royal Canadian Legion at Haney, Mission and Abbotsford.
A Service was held on July 5, from 12:30 - 2:30 at the Saturna Island Community Hall. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Rod's name to Saturna Recreation Centre Society, medical clinic.

Charles Stewart (Chuck) McWhirter passed away peacefully on July 1, 2003 at the age of 72 years. He was predeceased by his son Stewart in 1982.
He is survived by his loving family, wife Susan, son Steven and wife Sharron, daughter Karen and husband Gary Glinz, grandchildren Stewart, Raelene, Christopher and Jamie McWhirter, Peter Hrycenko, Gabrielle Carter and Ryan Glinz, two great-grandsons Eric and Caleb. Also survived by his sister Effie and brother John (Jean) and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Chuck was a journeyman Lineman for 47 years.

RONe Henry Bouchard passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 1, 200, at his home in Mission, B.C.
RONe was predeceased by his father Eugene Bouchard, He is lovingly remembered by his daughters Michelle and Julie-Ann; his mother Florence and his brothers and sisters Mau, Jan. Dan, Didi, Paul and Denise.
He will also be missed by various group homes and seniors' care homes where he frequently volunteered as an entertainer and by his friends at the Drop-In.
RONe will be most remembered as a proud father, a tireless conversationalist and inspired musician/composer, with over 100 original songs. His favourite quote was "The supreme happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved". We love you Dad.
Prayers will be held on Monday, July 14, 2003 at 8:30 p. m., at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 32550 - 7th Avenue, Mission, with Mass to follow on Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at 10:00 a. m. Ingram, John Herbert, March 1917 - July 2003, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born and raised in Point Grey (now Vancouver); attended Maple Grove and Magee High School.
He worked for many years in real estate and associated businesses in Vancouver and North Vancouver.
John was predeceased by his son Donald.
He is survived by his wife Hazel and sons Phillip (Marion), David and daughter-in-law Penny; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
