The only other place she liked just as much was Middletown, Ireland. She was a bonny girl with the Irish twinkle. Her spirit was generous. Her faith was steadfast. She valued fairness and justice. She spent all her life in the positive. She saw the good in people always. She was so impressive, loyal, kind and a loving wife. Her children and their well being always came first. She is mourned by a nation of people who valued her goodness and decency and will cherish her memory. Her close family in Ireland, England and the U.S. are weeping. GOSS, Kenna Dunn (nee Dickson) November 12, 2002, Kenna, always ready to meet any challenge, lost a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 62. Her husband Phil was at her side as he had been throughout her brave and inspiring struggle. She attended West Vancouver High School and subsequently worked for B.C. Hydro and B.C. Tel, before embarking on a twenty-three year career with Canadian Pacific Airlines. An avid horsewoman and skier, Kenna loved the outdoors, and retired to her beloved Wildtree Ranch in Princeton, and with Phil, built their dream log home over several memorable years. She was known from Alaska to Florida, and across Canada for her passion for the Airedale Terriers she bred, exhibited and sold to what became an extended family. Sleeping on the ground in the high mountains with her horses nearby, travelling the world or dazzling those around her at formal occasions, her fire and zest for life were contagious. She touched the lives of so many with her caring, kindness and fullness of life. There is an empty spot in our lives, but another bright star in the night sky. Kenna is survived by her husband of fourteen years, Phil; sister Bonnie (Neville) Flanagan; nephews, Grayden (Sangita) Flanagan, Darren Flanagan; step son Glen Dunn; sister-in-law Rita Goss; niece Leah; nephew Lynn; aunt Mary and cousins, Sandra (Bill), Shirley, Brian, Varvee, Carlee and Robert; and her dear, dear friends, Lois, Jean, Alan, Edie, Jim, Carol, Caroline, Gord, Shirley, David, Bernadette, Brittany and Carly.
