ARNET - Peter Stanley. Born September 15, 1941. Passed away at home, after a six year battle with cancer, on Wednesday, January 14, 1998 at age 56. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Helen, his daughters Christine, Siri and Britt; his son-in-law Stephen Jordan; his granddaughter Alyssa; his sisters and brothers Julie Goggin, Doris Main (Chris), Jack (Ruth), Martin (Nancy); numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and by devoted extended family members and friends who shared in his life and supported him in his hardship. McINTOSH - Robert William. Died suddenly on December 31, 1997. He leaves behind his wife Kate, their children Emma and Sam; his sister Donna, her husband Dale, their son Liam; and many family members throughout B.C., Alberta, and the United Kingdom.
Born in North Vancouver in 1957, Bob completed his B.Sc. in Kin-esiology at S.F.U. and his L.L.B. at U.B.C. After practicing law in Vancouver with Goldsmith Hartshorne and Jarvis and Company he joined the firm of Race and Company in Squamish as an associate in 1989 and became a partner in 1991.
Bob's goal in life was to live every day to its absolute fullest - to work hard, train hard, and especially to love hard. He demanded excellence from himself and everyone around him. Bob's enthusiasm for skiing and triathlon inspired so many of his friends and family to join in the race. He proudly represented Canada at the World Triathlon Championships in Perth, Australia in November. We will all remember Bob for his passion for music, good wine, and German engineering.
There are no words to express our grief. Bob would have said that a tragedy like this is just all the more reason to get out there and really live your life. Bob and the kid's favorite song lyrics were "LIFE IS LARGE', and Bob, with you, it was.

EASTON - Marian Audrey (nee Oakes) passed away peacefully on January 7, 1998 after a valiant, yet brief, battle with cancer. In Canada Fred has been recognized and honored with many awards, most recently inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Fred was a member of the Royal Lodge 453 Masons in Thunder Bay.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 1998, at 12:00 p.m. at the Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations will be graciously accepted by the Alzhei-mers Society of B.C. or a charity of your choice.
RABBITT - Dorothy Cowie. Passed away peacefully at Lions Gate Hospital December 27, 1997. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, May 7, 1917. Predeceased by her husband Mike and brother Gordon Denholm. Survived by sister-in-law Marguerite Faye Denholm; niece Dorothy Jean (Denholm) Jones and her husband George and their children Michelle and her husband Doug, and Darrell; nephew David Morley Denholm and his wife Patricia and their children Murray and Lisa; niece Joanne Marguerite (Denholm) Austin and her husband Michael and their daughter Kristina; her cousin's son, John Muirhead and family; as well as three cousins in Scotland, and her late husband Mike Rabbitt's family; other relatives and her many friends. LEE - Marjorie Evelyn. Born in Ottawa July 22, 1924, died peacefully December 27, 1997 after a lengthy illness borne with dignity. Marjorie is loved and missed by her family; father Frederick Connett; sister Phyllis Maxon; daughters and sons-in-law Deborah, Alison and Reg, Andrea and Thomas, Tiffany and Jeffrey; nephew John and dear grandchildren Paul and Justine. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Denis in 1977 and daughter Cynthia in 1983. She will be remembered always for her gracious manner, kindness of heart and independent spirit. A memorial service will be held at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, 885-22nd St. West Vancouver, on Saturday, January 3, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Keith Gilbert officiating.
