BARBARA MacFARLANE
Lived a full and wonderful life from September 24, 1906 to January 30, 1998. She now joins her predeceased husband, and beloved Highland Scot, Hugh. She died peacefully in the comfort of her own home in West Vancouver surrounded by her family, faithful companion Fritz and devoted nurse Bonnie.
"Gogga" was a woman ahead of her time in many ways, a person all ages "connected' with. Her great charm, wisdom and broadminded-ness made her fun to be around.
Well travelled and an avid reader, she was also a gifted violinist and water colourist in addition to her gardening, rug making, fancy work and awesome pastry!
She knew who she was; had spunk, compassion and unlimited love and energy for what was most important to her - her family and animals being #1.
Gogga will be greatly missed and remembered by her loving daughter Diane, son-in-law Don, and her two grandchildren Dave and Barb who had the good fortune to be raised with her marvellous imagination and endless summer Mayne Island adventures.
