Jan. 8, 1937 - May 21, 2003
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mom and wife “Jo-An Sabo” the evening of May 21, 2003 after a 3-year battle with a rare blood disorder. Jo-an was born and raised in Everett, Washington, daughter to Joe and Jennie Thatcher. In 1958 Jo-An met and married Tom. Shortly thereafter they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Cynthia Louise, who tragically passed away from SIDS on Jan. 7, 1959. Jo-An could always be found in many friends and family’s gardens. She loved socializing with friends. Above all, Jo-An’s passion was to love and care for her children and husband. Jo-An will be forever remembered. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. Jo-An is survived by her husband of 45 years, Tom; three happily married children, Dave and Bonnie, Ron and Yvette, Cheryl and Dennis; six grandchildren Shawn, Jennifer, Candace, Olivia, Jackson and Amanda.
