Michael loved animals.
The family pets – Mr Svend and Miss Daisy will miss his loving care and attention.
A memorial service for Michael will be held on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 10:00 at Glenwood Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, 52356 Range Road 232 - across from Salisbury Greenhouse, Sherwood Park, AB.
There will also be another memorial service to be held in Toronto on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 11:00 am at the St Philips Church.
Michael’s mother and father wish to thank the staff of the Grey Nuns hospital for their loving care of Michael during his final hours of life, and their kindness and support extended to them during these difficult times.
Francoise and Bob sincerely appreciate the many hours Blaine Allan, Chaplain at Grey Nuns spent comforting them.
Francoise and Bob also wish to thank all of their family and friends for their loving care and support.

Mrs. Shirley Jean Holden
July 16, 1924 - July 25, 2007
Born July 16, 1924 in Biggar, SK, and left us July 25, 2007 in Richmond, B.C. at the age of 83.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Shirley will be sadly missed by her husband Charles and their children Barbara, Bill (Karen), and Brenda (Glen).
She is survived by her grandchildren David, Kristina, Kimberly, Karl, Thomas (Kelly), Luke, and her great-granddaughter Katie.
She also leaves a loving extended family of nieces, nephews and a circle of friends who filled her life with love and laughter.
Shirley spent many happy hours swimming in the pool with the Mermaids, was a longtime member of the Marpole Ladies Curling Club, and served over 50 years in the Order of the Eastern Star.
Memorial Service to be held Monday, July 30, 2007 at 10:30 am, in the Chapel of the Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road, Richmond, B.C.

Mrs. Gwennie-Mae "Gwen" (nee Stonehouse) Willman
November 13, 1941 - July 3, 2007
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Gwen Willman on July 3, 2007.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters: Kathy (Daryl) Schneider and Brenda (Cam) Willman; sisters Joyce (Ken) Haarsma, Bonnie Stonehouse; grandchildren Jaydon and Keilyn Schneider; and many other family members, friends and neighbors.
Gwen will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, helpfulness and her contagious laugh.
She may be gone, but will live forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
Gwen would want us to remember that life is very precious and to give extra love to everyone you care for.
Throughout Gwen's life, she had a major impact on the lives of women in need.

Anna Sylvia Huston
August 13, 1920 - July 19, 2007
On Thursday, July 19, 2007 Anna Huston passed away peacefully with family by her side.
Anna is survived by one sister, Irene McClary of Whiterock, B.C., six nieces and nephews, their spouses and numerous grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
She will also be missed by her many friends.
Anna was predeceased by her sisters; Ella Campbell, Margaret Huston and Ina Campbell.
Anna has requested that no service be held.
Cremation has taken place.
A private family gathering will be held to scatter her ashes as requested.
We will miss you Auntie.

Born March 26, 1914 in North Battleford, SK.
Alfred passed away at Mountainview Manor, Ladner, B.C. on June 22, 2007.
Resident of The Waterford in Tsawwassen.
Long time resident of Nanaimo, B.C.
Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Elizabeth, brother George, sister Bette, daughter Jeanne and granddaughter Courtney.
Lovingly remembered by his English war bride of 63 years, Phyllis, sister-in-law Bette Cahill, sons; Barry (Pauline) and Rob (Lynn) and daughter Lynne (Michael) Smith.
He was a loving grandfather to Heather (Glenn), Doug (Sharon) and Steve Cashmore, Brad (Nicole Truong), Michael Cashmore, Jason (Marielle) and Kimberly (James Webster) Smith.
He was a great-grandfather to Dustin and Alicia Cashmore, Janine, Tallisen and Simon Smith.
He was a caring uncle and great uncle to Audrey Dewan, Harvey (Marion) Cashmore and Margaret (Tom) Peppinck and their families.
Alf was known as a gentleman, a hard-working and devoted family man, an Army veteran of WW 11, a life member of the Canadian Legion, a former farmer turned gardening enthusiast and a talented handyman, especially with cars.
He had a wonderful sense of humour which was reflected in his collection of favourite sayings.
So Dad, "may the band play on" there on the other side where you will forever be "top drawer"!
Funeral Service and reception will be held on Friday, June 29, 2007 at 2 pm at Delta Funeral Home, 5329 Ladner Trunk Road, Ladner, B.C.
A Legion Memorial Service will be held on August 27, 2007 at 1 pm at Nanaimo Legion Branch 256, Nanaimo, B.C.
