LOVINA RADKE
August 3, 1932 - April 29, 2011

Lovina passed away in her sleep at the Madison Care Home in Coquitlam, BC, after a long illness. She was 78 years old.

She will be greatly missed by her son Dwayne, his wife Tami, and their children Alexandra and Nataliya; and her daughter Corinne, and her son Gianfranco. Lovina was predeceased by her husband Henry, her parents John and Pauline, her brothers Henry and Ed, and her sisters Mathilda and Loreen. Lovina will be missed by her siblings Roy, Noreen, Grace, and Ray, as well as by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and friends.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 21st, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 465 Henry Street, Steinbach.

PETER REIMER

After a lengthy battle with cancer Peter Reimer, went to be with the Lord on April 29, 2011 at 12:06 pm at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach with his children at his side.

Dad is survived by three children, Randy, Michael and Tracey and two grandchildren: Cody and Denver. He is survived by his parents, John and Margaret Reimer, two brothers: Johnny (Martha), Willy (Dianne), five sisters, Anne (Henry), Susie (Dave), Margaret, Trudy (Herman), Shirley (Jodey) and many nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by his wife Anne.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Addy, Jennifer and Zemina at Cancer Care HSC for their compassion and integrity, as well as Dr. Duerksen and Dr. Reimer, and the Bethesda nursing staff for Dads excellent care.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grunthal Bergthaler Mennonite Church, Grunthal, with viewing prior to the service. Interment at the Grunthal Cemetery.

HELENA SAWATZKY (nee Giesbrecht)
April 24, 1926 – April 29, 2011

Helena passed away peacefully at the Menno Home for the Aged, Grunthal, MB, on April 29, 2011.

She was predeceased by her husband Abram in 1988, one daughter, Helen Kehler in 1991, two grandchildren, and one great-grandson.

She is survived by eight sons: Abram (Anna), Hans (Helen), Ben (Mika), Isbrandt (Sandi), Martin (Ann), Dave (Shannon), Alvin, Adolf (Andrea); seven daughters: Nettie (Ben), Anna (Martin), Martha, Mary (Hans), Liesa (Peter), Tina, Mathilda (Willie); 42 grandchildren, and 43 great-grandchildren.

A special thank-you to the staff at Menno Home for the 5 ½ years of care.

The funeral service was held Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fourth Ave. Bible Church, 62 4th Ave S., Niverville, MB with interment at the Heritage Cemetery, Niverville.

ISAAC THIESSEN BERGEN
Janury 9, 1947 – April 29, 2011

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Isaac (Ike) Thiessen Bergen. Ike passed away peacefully at 64 years of age on Friday, April 29, 2011.

He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Magaretha Bergen (Giesbrecht); his four children: Helen Wiebe (Darian), Lisa Rosenberg (Steve), Nettie Bergen-Belanger (Kyle), and Niko Bergen; his eight grandchildren: Blake and Erica Wiebe, Danielle, Oceane and Natalie Rosenberg, Alyssa and Bronwyn Bergen, and Logan Belanger. He is also survived by his brothers Henry and Ben Bergen. He was predeceased by his parents, Bernhard Bergen and Anna Thiessen, his sister Tina Froese and his first born son, Ben Bergen.

The funeral service will take place at Foothills Mennonite Church (2115 Urbana Rd. NW, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 10:00 am. Forward condolences through https://cochranecountryfuneral.com .

WILLIAM A. (Bill) TOEWS

On April 28th, Bill peacefully slipped away to heaven. He was born on April 17th, 1928 to Abraham and Helena Toews. He is survived by his four daughters; Colleen and Gord Kroeker; Shannon and Gord Bartel; Janine and Peter Wieler; Bobbi Jane and Doug Thiessen. He is survived by 2 bothers, 2 sisters and a sister-in-law. He was predeceased by his wife Trudie in April of 2010.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011, 10am. It will be held at the Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, 360 McKenzie Ave, Steinbach with a private family interment prior to the service.

JOHN HENRY (Jack) STOTT
January 21, 1924 - April 26, 2011

Our world lost a very good man today.

After a frustrating partnership with Alzheimers, Dad left us peacefully but unwillingly. He was born, married, and lived in what he spoke of as The Best Place on Earth ... Canada, Manitoba, Niverville.

Missing Jack, is his wife, soul-mate, lover, and best friend ... not even Alzheimers could erase the memory of "His Margaret". Although his body has left us, his character will live on in his children and 'beloved outlaws'; Gary, Doris, Elaine, Art, Louise, Burt, Kevin, Marlene, Jeff, Mona, Michael, Ida, Donald, Laurie, and many generations of off-spring. He will be deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the future Niverville Personal Care Home.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 3 at 2 p.m. at the Niverville Heritage Centre, 100 Heritage Trl., Niverville, MB.

JACOB NEUFELD

Jacob Waldemar Neufeld, age 79, passed away peacefully at Bethesda Hospital following a major stroke five days earlier at his home.

He is survived by his wife Mary of 55 years, and his children Debra & Donald (twins), and Kimberley.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, with interment at Heritage Cemetery.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, and grandfather, Nick Teleglow, on April 25, 2011, at 84 years of age.

Nick will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife of 50 years, Mildred, sons: Nick (Gale (Natasha, Colin)) Mitchell (Heather (Meagan, Alex)); daughters: Kim Shepherd (Iain (Kyle, Cameron)), Cheryl Meyer (Ken (Amber, Kelsey)); brother John(Mary), sister-in-law Barbara Teleglow; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Nick was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Pearl Teleglow, and siblings Mitchell, Clarence and Olgo Botan.

Prayers will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr. Steinbach, on Thursday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 29, at 10:30 a.m. at the Prairie Grove Fellowship Chapel, 265 Station Rd, Lorette, MB, with interment to follow at Green Acres.

MAVIS SHARON GOSS

Passed away peacefully at home in Red deer, Alberta on April 22, 2011 at the age of 49 after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer.

Mavis was born in Emerson, Manitoba February 4, 1962 and is survived by her beloved husband Ron and her two sons, Brent Martens (Tammy), Eric

Martens and stepchildren Christie Goss, James Goss and grandson, Bram Martens. She is also survived by her brother Ted (Dorothy), sister Bernice (Ken) and stepsister Joanne (Jerry), bother-in-law Tom Goss (Liz) and sister-in-law Marlene Goss, her stepmother Jean Pott, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held at the Deer Park Alliance Church in Red Deer, Alberta at 2 PM on Saturday, April 30, 2011. An additional memorial service will be held in Greenridge, Manitoba with interment to follow at the Greenridge Cemetery at a future date.

In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Central Alberta on behalf of Mavis Goss and the 2nd Annual Mavis Goss Open Golf Tournament or visit www.themavisgossopen.org to pledge a donation to this worthy charity.

ROLAND EMILE ANTHONY HEAGEMAN
Feb 2, 1939 – April 21, 2011

Roland passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach, MB.

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Marjorie, and son-in-law, Ivan McPherson.

Roland leaves behind to mourn for him his children: Brian, Shirley, Paul (Lorraine), James (Shirley), Tammy (Maurice) and many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

A special thank-you for the kindness of the staff at the Bethesda Hospital, and also to friends and family for all your prayers and support.

RALPH SCHNELL

Ralph Dale Schnell was born November 15,1946 in Vita,Mb. Ralph is survived by his mother Dorothy, one brother Larry (Doris) and one sister Debby. Also nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends. Ralph was predeceased by his father, Otto in October, 2003 and a brother-in-law Jim Mckay in February, 2011.

Peacefully in his sleep on Sunday morning, April 17, 2011. Ralph passed away at the Vita and District Health Centre, at the age of 64. Ralph will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Service for Ralph was held Thursday April 21, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, Friedensthal, Manitoba.

BERNARD D. SIEMENS
April 3, 1924 - April 16, 2011

Bernhard D. Siemens, 87, is alive and well in HEAVEN, living now with a perfect body, soul and mind. He was robed in God's mercy as he approached his Saviour.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Betty Eidse Siemens, of 66 1/2 years; children – Reginald and Connie Siemens, Vernon and Rhonda Siemens, Linda and Bill Isaac, Menno andNelda Siemens, Julia Siemens, John and Carol Siemens, and David and Kathy Siemens of Edberg, AB area, Christine and Wally Toews of Pincher Creek, AB, Rebecca and Bruce Bartel of Carrot River, SK, Elizabeth and Allen Peters of Fountain Run, Kentucky, Mary and Bob Schneikart of Wetaskawin, AB, Alvina and Don Heinrichs, and Minna and Arnold Reimer, Steinbach, MB area, Elaine and Larry Dueck, Grande Prairie, AB.; 66 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren. Four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren have gone on ahead. He was also predeceased by his parents John W. and Mary (Dueck) Siemens, and five younger siblings. Still waiting to join him are his brothers: Ed, Jack, Ernie, Bill and Lorne and his sisters Annie and Betty, very close Uncle Willy Dueck, and many close relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held at the Church of God in Christ Mennonite in Steinbach on Tuesday, April 19 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service is to be held on Wednesday, April 20, at 11:00 a.m. at Greenland Church of God in Christ, Mennonite

Interment to follow at Heritage Cemetery in Steinbach, MB.

HERMINE RITA GAUTHIER (née Manaigre)

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother and grandmother, Hermine, at the Portage District General Hospital, on Friday, April 15, 2011, at the age of 76. Mom was surrounded by the family she adored.

Mom will be deeply missed by the children she cherished; Marielle, Reynald, Gilbert (Nadine), Pauline, Annette (Michel), Lucille (Marc) and the grandchildren she was so proud of: Colin, Colby, Sophie and Kaylee.

Mom loved all of her siblings and left to mourn her passing are her sisters Yvette (Marcel), Victoire (John), Anne-Marie (Ed); her brothers Odias, Aimé (Alice), Patrick (Christine); brother-in-law Laurent (Anita+); sisters-in law Claudette (Edmond+) and Aurise (Armand+); and many special nieces, nephews and friends.

Mom will also be missed by the Gauthier family she loved very much: Oliva, Anna (Tony), Laurette (Raymond), Henri (Yvette), Raoul, Lucien (Marie), Alfred+ (Céline).

Mom was predeceased by her spouse of 48 years, Léo; her parents Ida and Omer; her brothers Emile, Gérald, Armand, Edmond; her sister Anita; sister-in-law Terry; brothers-in-law Clifford and Alfred; as well as her niece Beverly, nephew Anthony and great-nephew Patrick.

Prayers will be held in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Sunday, April 24 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Monday, April 25, 2011. Memorial Service at 1:15 p.m. Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery with Father Marcel Carrière officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mom's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Manitoba Lung Association or World Vision Canada.

DOLORES SAINDON (NEE DYCK)

On Friday, April 15, 2011 at the age of 59.Dolores’ spirit broke free of the cancer that consumed her body and soared into the Great Beyond.

She is survived by one daughter, Deanna Dupont and her children, Destinee and Darian, two sons, David Saindon (Jackie Girard) and Steven Saindon (Sherri) and their children, Matthew, Louren, Jonah and Jack. Also surviving are her mother, Elsie Dyck, and two sisters, Evelyn (Wilbert) Schala and Luella (Larry) Norlin. She was predeceased by her father, Jacob Dyck.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach.
