JAKE G. PETERS
The family of Jake Peters sent their father, grandfather and brother to be with the Lord at the age of 64 on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach.
Jake will be forever remembered by his eight children Dave, Esther, Jake, Marlene, Menno, Ronny, Bonita and Candace. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren whom he loved.
The family would like to thank all staff at Bethesda Hospital and visitors for their care and prayers in his last days.
Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Wednesday, February 29 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with interment at Heritage Cemetery in Steinbach, MB.

In peace and with God’s loving arms around him, with his family at his side, our husband, dad, grandpa, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 26, 2012, at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach at the age of 75.
Vern leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Florence, three children, Ken (Marilyn), Lynelle (Randy), and Jason (Tiffany), and five granddaughters, Alayna, Danae, Sydney, Hanna, and Ruby, sisters and brother, Hilda, Alvera, Helmut (Delores), brother-in-law Ed (Elsie). Dad was predeceased by his mother and father, Justina and Heinrich, sisters and brother, Anne (Bill), Henry, Lydia, mother in law Anna Isaac, brothers in law, Bill and Bob.
Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 1 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. The funeral service will be held Friday, March 2 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace Mennonite Church, 430 Third St, Steinbach. Interment at Heritage Cemetery.

ELAINE PETERS
On Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 our amazing wife, mother and grandmother, Elaine Peters, left her family on earth to be with her Saviour, Jesus Christ, after a short battle with cancer at the age of 58 years.
Elaine is survived by her husband Peter Brian, her sons Michael (Helen), Greg (Brenda) and Keith (Lorilee) as well as her grandchildren Emma, Adam, Ilsa and Olivia. Elaine is also survived by five sisters and two brothers, Marlene Fast, Valerie (Tony) Penner, Wayne (Gabriele) Penner, Debra (Richard) Schellenberg, Brad Penner, Carol (Dick) Bercier and Janie (Dave) Thiessen, her mother-in-law Sarah Peters, her brother-in-law Harold (Diane) Peters and sister-in-law Carol (Dwayne) Martens and their families as well as countless friends. She was predeceased by her parents Jake and Helen Penner and father-in-law Peter G. Peters.
Viewing will be held at the Grunthal Bergthaler Church on Thursday, Mar. 1 at 7 p.m. with a devotional to follow at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, Mar. 2 at 1 p.m. at the Grunthal Bergthaler Church with interment to follow at Heritage Cemetery in Steinbach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Advancing Indigenous Missions, 235 Princess Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3B 1L9.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the palliative care unit at Bethesda Hospital for the loving care they showed Mom.

STANLEY BRIAN KRAYNYK
It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Stan on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at St. Boniface Hospital.
Stan was born on February 12, 1959 in Steinbach and is survived and deeply missed by his two daughters Brittney (Trevor), Adriane (Dan); his sister Elsie (George); his partner Diane and her children Adam, Jason, Amanda (Justin) as well as his nieces Cathy and Jennifer (Jayden and Evan). Stan was predeceased by his parents, Steve and Anne Kraynyk.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and paramedics at the Vita Hospital and the staff in ICU at the St Boniface Hospital.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.

Gary Bergen, 55 passed away peacefully at his home in Steinbach, MB on Sunday, February 26, 2012.
He is survived by his wife Karen, one daughter, two sons and their families as well as by two sisters and one brother and their families.
There will be a private family ash interment prior to the service. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 1 at 7:00 p.m. at the Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, 360 McKenzie Ave, Steinbach.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Therese Marie Dokken (nee Pilon) on January 1, 2013 after a brief time at the Steinbach hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband Leroy in 1981. She is survived by her seven children Eileen (Paul), Bill (Rolly), Lorraine (Oliver), Kenny (Susie), David (Barb), Marilyn (Palmer), John, grandson Jim and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

We are sad to announce the passing of our mom, grandma, and wife Diane Friesen on January 3, 2013 at the age of 63.
She leaves behind her husband Dick, her son Dale Friesen and daughter Dawn (Friesen) Prymych, her son in-law Mike Prymych and daughter in-law Fern Friesen. She leaves her grandkids Joshua, Brayden, and Meadow Prymych, and Liam Friesen. She also leaves behind her mother Kate Smadella, her sisters Sharon, Jo-Ann, and Valerie, her brothers Gordon, Ernie, and Brad, and is predeceased by her father John Smadella.

RONALD (RON) JOHN MCCONAGHY
On the day of January 3, 2013 at his home in Woodridge, MB with his dog Happy by his side, we are very saddened to announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, brother, uncle and dearest friend Ron McConaghy. KATHERINA KRAHN (nee Martens)
With her son Bill at her side, Mom passed away in the early morning of January 5th 2013 at the Menno Home in Grunthal, Manitoba.
She will be fondly remembered by her daughters, Kathy Schellenberg (Henry), Agnes, and Marie and sons Abe (Lorna), Peter (Alice), John (Sally), Bill (Evelyn), Art, and Dennis (Cathy); grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Agnes Fehr, nephews, nieces, family friends Elaine Stott Krahn and Raj Raichura.
She was predeceased by her husband Abraham on February 8th, 1998, her parents, her sisters (Margaret, Mary and Agatha), brothers (Peter, Jacob, Cornelius, John and Frank), her two grandchildren Erika and Eloise and daughter-in-law Joyce.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 10th at the Bergthaler Church in Grunthal at 2:00 PM with viewing prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Grunthal Cemetery.

ISABELLE HOPE KITTLESON passed peacefully in the arms of her loving parents at the Sanford Children's Hospital of Fargo, North Dakota at 3 am on Sun Jan 6, 2013.
Isabelle was the treasured daughter of Adam and Rebecca Kittleson and precious baby sister to Emily and Caelan. Beloved niece, cousin, grand daughter and great grand daughter.
Born 4 Months early on July 29, 2012, she blessed this world with her strength and tenderness. For 5 months she fought, bringing joy and inspiration to everyone lucky enough to know her. Her life was a testament to the power of love demonstrated through the strength of her family. With the smallest of feet she left large and lasting footprints on the hearts of those who loved her. Words will never express how much she will be missed.
A memorial service will be held on Monday Jan 14, 2013 at the Sprague Baptist Church at 1:00 pm in Sprauge,MB. In lue of flowers and donations, the family simply requests that Isabelle's life be honored through acts of love and kindness to your neighbors, friends and loved ones.

Helen Krahn of Steinbach, formerly of Grunthal, MB passed away at Bethesda Hospital on Monday, January 7, 2013 at the age of 91 years.
She is survived by two daughters, one son and their families. She was predeceased by her husband John in 2000 and one daughter in 2007.

Bill G. Hildebrandt aged 91 years of Altona Eastview Place and formerly of Steinbach, Manitoba passed away at Altona Eastview Place on January 09,2013.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Marge (Len) Giesbrecht; sons Willi Hildebrandt; Peter (Liana) Hildebrandt; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife Agatha nee Sawatzky in 2009.
