Normand Dondo
Suddenly on Saturday, November 24, 2007, Mr. Normand Dondo of Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away at the age of 41 years.
Normand was born in St. Claude, Manitoba on January 9, 1966. He left school in grade nine to pursue various jobs such as Kimberly Clark, Nadeau Seeds, hog farming, and eventually trucking. Everyone that knew Normand thought of him as a practical joker as well as a caring, sensitive, and considerate man. He was someone who often gave souvenirs from his road trips throughout the United States and Canada even without an occasion. His favourite past time was to care for his Red 1999 Blazer and he was also rarely seen without his camera. Chances are if you ever visited with Normand, he probably has a picture of you somewhere.
Approximately twenty- three months ago, Normand found the love of his life Wanda Schlamb and only six months ago he proposed to her. Wedding plans were being arranged for August 2008 and Normand was counting the months to the big day with excitement and great anticipation.
We will always miss Normand and keep him in our hearts. He was a man of 1,000 words.
He leaves to mourn his fiancé Wanda Schlamb, his parents André and Clothilde Dondo, his future in-laws, Larry and Helen Schlamb and their family, as well as two brothers Réal of Brandon, Guy (Rose) of MacGregor, one sister Simone Dondo of Winnipeg, three nieces, one nephew, and two great-nephews.
