WILLIAM (BILL) LEWIS McINTOSH BROWN William (Bill) Lewis McIntosh Brown died peacefully at Grace Hospital on July 10, 2004. Bill is survived by his sister Alice Evelyn Snyder of Charleston, IN, and nieces and nephews. Bill was born August 14, 1919 in Gilbert Plains, MB and was raised in Grandview, later moving with his family to Winnipeg. For many years Bill helped his dad run the Red & White Store on Queen Street in St. James. Later, he worked for Goth Industries until he took early retirement to care for his aging and ailing parents. Bill enjoyed golfing, bowling, curling and visiting with friends. He was a wonderful son to his parents and devoted and loving brother to his sister. Bill was truly a gentleman in the best sense of the word. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on July 15 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. James Anglican Church on Collegiate Street. Flowers are gratefully declined. A donation to the St. James Anglican Church or to the Ashbury Place Senior Centre would be appreciated.

BESSIE MAY BURTON (PARTRIDGE) 1909 - 2004 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Bessie, with family by her side on Sunday, July 11, 2004. Bessie was predeceased by her husband, George in 1993, her sister Callie ( Bill); also Eileen and Bill Burton. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Doreen ( Don) Warford; and Joan Lagiewka; granddaughters, Deanne Lagiewka, Susan (Mark) Reiter, Janet Warford; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Elizabeth and Sam. Also left to cherish her memory are many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Mother was born on December, 16, 1909 in Weyburn, SK. She married George on September 14, 1940. She especially enjoyed her music, dancing, bridge and her beloved pet, Carrie. Mother's greatest love and pleasure were her family and friends. She was indeed a devoted wife, a wonderful loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mother was a true friend who always saw the good in people. Her kindness and sweet mannerisms left an indelible impression on all who knew her. Mother was a very special and remarkable lady who we all love so dearly. Bessie was a faithful member of the Anglican Church and loved singing hymns. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 16, at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with a reception to follow. Flowers will be graciously accepted. RAYMOND DANIEL CHABOYER January 13, 1935 - July 10, 2004 Passed away peacefully on July 10, 2004 at Concordia Hospital. Raymond was predeceased by his parents, Marie and Joseph Chaboyer; daughter Darlene Chaboyer; and numerous sisters and brothers. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Laverna; children, Darrell, Cheryl, Shelly and Danny; stepchildren, Pam, Darren, Michelle; brothers, Cyril Chaboyer, Edmond Chaboyer; sisters, Giselle Ross, Alma Chaboyer, Verna Dyck, Rose Chaboyer, Doreen Stefaniuk and Joyce Chaboyer; several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Raymond was born in St. Laurent, MB on January 13, 1935 and resided in Winnipeg. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. Many thanks to the doctors and staff at Concordia Hospital 3rd floor. Prayers will be said on Friday, July 16 at 8:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 E. at Navin Road. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 17 at 11:00 a.m. also at Green Acres Funeral Chapel with Fr. Pierre Wood, O.F.M. Cap, officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Daniel Stefaniuk, Ross, Garry Martin, Eddie Stefaniuk, Raymond Chaboyer, Paul Chaboyer, and Terry Chaboyer. ERNEST (ERNIE) MATHEW CUNNINGHAM Ernest (Ernie) Mathew Cunningham, born November 3, 1913, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2004 in Regina, SK. He was predeceased by his wife Bessie in 1997 and sister Myrtle Cathcart. Ernie is survived by his two children, Cory (Carol Ann) of Edmonton, and Lynn Taunton of Scottsdale, Arizona; grandchildren, Katherine, Paula and Ellen Cunningham, Matthew and Paul Taunton; three sisters, Molly Walden, Kaye Ulleland and Maude Grassick. The family would like to acknowledge special friends Bill and Bertyl Smith. Ernie spent his entire working career with John Deere. He served in the R.C.A.F. during the Second World War. He was a member of the Assiniboia Masonic Lodge, the Wa Wa Shrine and the Rotary Club. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Ave., Regina, SK with Rev. Everett Hollis officiating. Interment service will be held the same day at 3:00 p.m. in Yellow Grass Cemetery, Yellow Grass, SK. Flowers gratefully declined. STANLEY DUNLOP December 25, 1921 - July 12, 2004 Suddenly, but peacefully Stanley Dunlop passed away at the age of 82 at the Concordia Hospital on Monday, July 12, 2004. Stan is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruth; sons, Wayne (Irene), Brian (Daryl), Kevin (friend Kathleen); two precious granddaughters, Carrie and Kristine and sister Evelyn Anderson. Stan was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Edith Dunlop; siblings, Laura, Mabel, Ruby, Eileen, Clifford, Allen and Donald. Stan was born in Rosewood, MB on December 25, 1921. He was employed with the CNR in Fort Rouge, Transcona, Moncton, NB and Belleville, ON in the Engineering Department for 35 years. Stan enjoyed his trips to Mesa, AZ, going to the casino and his senior's bingo. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 15 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with a viewing one hour prior to service. Interment will take place in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. The family would like to express sincere thanks to the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Service, Dr. Pilat and the nursing staff N2W at Concordia Hospital for their care and compassion shown during his brief stay. You are gone to heaven now, no more suffering or pain. You are with God now, but you will always be here with me. In my heart I will never forget you. JOHN ADDISON

JOHN CHARLES ADDISON John Addison died as a result of a trucking accident on April 18, 2003. John was predeceased by his mother Eileen, and his aunt Thelma. John will be sadly missed by his father Charles; his children, Chris (Vickie), Ryan (and their mother Joanne), Jasmine, Coral and Devin (and their mother Cindy); his sister Cathy and her children, Heather and Jordan. John was born May 8, 1953 in Rivercrest, MB. He later moved to Fort Richmond, where he attended Fort Richmond Collegiate. He went on to graduate from the Banff School of Fine Arts. He then owned and operated the J.J.J. Portrait Studio in Winnipeg. During this period, John became a devotee of skydiving at various drop zones, including Pembina, ND, Gimli, MB and Clarsholm, AB. He then established and operated the Skyscape Parachute School in Morden, MB. John was a pilot, a nationally recognized skydiving coach, instructor and competitor. John's last years were spent as a professional truck driver. John will be missed by his very wide circle of friends. John was a devoted and caring dad, who shared his passion for skiing and snowboarding with his children. A celebration of John's life will take place on Friday, April 25, at 3:00 p.m. in the Garry Memorial Funeral Home.
