VICTOR GEORGE POIRIER September 15, 1999 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear Father, Grandfather and Friend. Victor was predeceased by his wife Pauline (nee Dutkiewicz) and son Garfield in 1990. He is survived by his son Doug (Janice) Poirier of Selkirk and his daughter Cindy (Gunnar) Still of Whitehorse, Yukon. As well as his three grandchildren, Michael, Jacquelien and Christina. Dad worked most of his life at the Manitoba Rolling Mills in Selkirk until his early retirement in 1989 to care for his beloved wife Pauline during her illness. Victor enjoyed going camping and fishing with his family at Lake Wanipigow. Victor will be missed by all who knew him, he accepted each individual for who they were. His wit and humour along with his sincerity and generosity will remain with us forever. Victor's family wishes to thank Dr. Graham Fuchs and the Interlake Regional Health Authority, the Health Care Workers who took care of him during his illness. He received only truly exemplary professional care and we received warmth and compassion from those who cared for him.
