JOHN FRIESEN Tragically, on November 27, 2003, John Friesen died in Paraguay, South America at the age of 51 years. He will be remembered by the mother of his children Tina; four children, Delia, Ginny (Roland), Gregory, and Garry; three grandchildren, Daniel, Rebecca, and Joshua, all of Winnipeg; John's mother Susie Kehler of Paraguay; one brother Dave (Erna); two sisters, Tina (Ben) and Helga (Dietrich); three nephews, James (Ginny), Tyler and Christopher; one niece Marcy and many friends. John was predeceased by his father Henry. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 3 at 8:00 p.m. in North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church, 1315 Gateway with Pastor Roland Marsch officiating. AGNES HATCH (nee GIESBRECHT) Peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2003, our beloved mother passed away at the Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home at the age of 80 with her family by her side. Agnes was born to Cornelius and Susanna Giesbrecht on March 12, 1923 in Lowe Farm, MB. She was predeceased by husband John. We celebrate her life and mourn her passing. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Don (Louise), and Diane (Stephen); and her grandchildren Laura, Melissa (Michael) and Adrienne; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 5 at the St. Stephen's Anglican Church, 220 Helmsdale Ave., Winnipeg, MB at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Bruce Gelhorn officiating. A private interment will follow. The family wishes to thank all staff members at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home for their compassionate and loving care during her three year stay at the home. ERIKA KLEIN Peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2003 Erika Klein, aged 77 years of Hnausa, MB passed away. So loved, so missed, so very dear. Surviving are her three daughters, Monika of Oakbank, Marianne of Riverton and Brigette of Riverton; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 3 at 2:00 p.m. at the Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel. Pastor Trudy Sluth will officiate. The service will conclude at the chapel. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

ANNA KLIMCHUK On Friday, November 28, 2003, at the Health Sciences Centre, Anna Klimchuk passed away at the age of 92 years, dearly beloved wife of the late William Klimchuk who predeceased her on Wednesday, December 1, 1982. Anna's memory will be forever cherished, and lovingly remembered by her only daughter Sophie (Sonia) Hughes-Games and her husband Leslie, her nieces and nephews, along with their respective families, Anne and John Borysowich, Carol, Steve, and Kevin Senuik. Irene, Don, and Amanda Thompson, Allan and Gabe Borysowich, and Raymond, Darrel, and Alexandra who very dearly loved her. She will also be very lovingly remembered by her family, and friends in the Ukraine, and New York, U.S.A. Besides her husband William, Anna was also predeceased by both her parents; sister Tekla; brothers, Vladimir and Stefan. Anna was born on Thursday, January 12, 1911 in Lecha Sokol near Lvov, Ukraine. She lived her early life in the Ukraine, and immigrated to Canada in 1929, where she married her late husband, William. She was a very active member in her community, and contributed a great deal as a member of the Association of the United Ukrainian Canadians. Anna also participated in Folklorama, the seniors group, and the Barvinok Ukrainian Choir. Singing gave Anna so much pleasure, and she was prepared to give a helping hand wherever and whenever it was necessary. Gardening was of particular interest, as she enjoyed the pleasure of growing vegetables, and flowers, and sharing the fruits of her labour with her many friends. Anna contributed much to her kin in the Ukraine. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, December 2 (tonight) at 7:00 p.m., at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 3 at 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral chapel, with interment following at Brookside Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be messrs: Kevin Senuik, Raymond, and Allan Borysowich, Peter Shaluk, Joseph Medzan, and Dan Halabura. TERRY MICHAEL KOZAK December 30, 1946 November 29, 2003 Suddenly on Saturday, November 29, 2003, Terry Kozak "Kozie", passed away after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife Judy; son Lee; stepchildren, Torin (Cherolyn), Anna-Marie, and Shawna-Lee; sisters, Barb (Merv), Carol (Jim); close and dear friends, Tommy and Timi; grandchildren, nieces and nephews; his dog Beano; as well as numerous family members and friends. Kozie's career spanned over 30 years at Westfair Foods. He prided himself on his accomplishments, and loved his TV, golf, the ponies, and his back yard roasts. Kozie will be remembered for his generosity and zest for life. He will be missed dearly for his constant practical jokes, teasing, and his dry sense of humour. The family has complied with Terry's request for cremation, and a memorial service will be held for family and close friends, Thursday, December 4 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home.
