Margaret Mary Isabella (Morris) Smith, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2008, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born on January 10, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Laura (Jarvis) Morris.
Wife of the late Everett Karl.
Margaret was a member of the Carleton-Kirk United Church, Fireside Club and Tuesday Golden Oldies Bowlarama League.
She is survived by her son, Charles (Sheila) Smith; 4 grandchildren, Karen, Randy, Shaughn (Angie) and Charles Jr. (Angie); 5 great-grandchildren, Richard & Ryan Mitchell, Ava, Emma & Cadey Smith; brother, Josh (Helen) Morris; sister, Mina Philpitt; sister-in-law, Lelia Morris; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Richard & Thomas Morris; granddaughter, Brenda Lynn Smith.
Resting at Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701).
Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 20, 2008, from 7-9 p.m. and Monday, April 21, 2008, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. from Castle Funeral Home.

Mr. Jacques A. Tessier
July 25, 1922 - April 15, 2008
Jacques Tessier (McGraw) passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Tuesday April 15, 2008.
Husband of Theresa Nima and son of the late Gedeon and Maria (Delvost) Tessier.
Besides his wife, Theresa, Jacques will be sadly missed by a son, Serge (Christine) Tessier of Montreal, one grand daughter, Melinda.
He is also survived by 13 step children; Marie (Mike) Cormier, John (Louise) McGraw, Paul McGraw, Claude (Maria) McGraw, Floyd (Julia) McGraw, Ronnie (Diana) McGraw, Juliette (Paul) McCaie, Linda (Jack) Geldart, Bertine Williams, Jean Clark, Joan (Gary) Niles, Edgar (Debbie) McGraw and Theresa (Junior) Steeves, 28 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren as well as three brothers, Gaston, Normand, Leo and one sister, Jeannine.
Besides his parents, Jacques was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, April 18, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and 9:30-11:00 am on Saturday April 19, 2008.
Parish prayers and sharing of memories from 8:30 to 9:00 pm on Friday April 18.
A memorial service will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Saturday April 19, 2008 at 11:00 o'clock followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
If so desired donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital "Oncology Department" would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Mrs. Violet Ellen Read
April 14, 1921 - April 15, 2008
Violet Ellen Read of Riverview passed away at The Moncton Hospital on April 15th, 2008, after a sudden illness.
She was born in Moncton, N.B., the daughter of the late Margaret Pearl Gamble and Edward Gamble.
Violet was known for enjoying her nights out at Bingo, knitting, and watching her game shows.
She was predeceased by her husband, Reginald W. Read, brothers; Austin and Bill Gamble, and sister Eileen Cain.
Violet is survived by her sons, Loyall (Carol) Read, Gary Read, Bryan (Cathy) Read, daughters; Peggy (Graham) Read, Eileen (Raymond) Blakney, Belinda (Michael) Roth.
Violet is also survived by her 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday April 17th, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service will be held from the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday April 18th, 2008 at 10:30 am followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room.
Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Ruth C. Mitchell
October 18, 1934 - March 15, 2010
Ruth Christianne Mitchell, 75, of Riverview, passed away on Monday, March 15th, 2010 at The Moncton Hospital.
Born in Sussex, October 18th, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Alexander D. and Mildred O. (Manning) Alston.
Ruth was a member of the Eastern Star and St. John’s United Church, active in the UCW as Unit Leader and Treasurer for many years.
Ruth is survived by her sons Peter of Halifax and Jeff (Anne) of Boston, granddaughter Lauren, grandson Grant, sisters Marguerite March of Riverview, Joan Branscombe of Sussex, brother Robert Alston of Newtown, NB, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Donald B. Mitchell in 2005.
There will be no visitation prior to the funeral service to be held at St. John’s United Church, 75 Alma Street, Moncton on Saturday, March 20th 2010, at 2:00 pm, Reverend Aaron Billard presiding.
A reception will follow the service in the church hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John’s United Church, or The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit).

The death of Mrs. Jean A. (Adams) Butler, wife of the late William Charles Butler, formerly of Saint John West, occurred at Rocmaura Nursing Home on March 14, 2010.
Born in Saint John on April 21, 1931, she was the daughter of the the late Charles Leo and and Edna Muriel (Galbraith) Adams. Jean worked for over thirty years at M.R.A.’s until it closed, and Ogden’s Furniture Store.
She was a lifelong resident of the West Side. She is survived by brothers Charles A. Adams of Woodstock, and Bruce (Brenda) Adams of Port Albernie, BC, and sisters Ruth (Arthur) Gibbons of Saint John West, and Alta Long of Quispamsis. Besides her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by a brother Glendon Adams and a sister Cledith Woodman.
Resting at Castle “Fallsview”Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. 634-1701) with visiting on Tuesday, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. from Castle “Fallsview” Chapel.
Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Following the interment, a reception will take place at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre.
Donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by her family.
