Cocagne – Camille Cormier, 82, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Friday, August 6th, after a short illness.
Born in Cocagne on February 24, 1928, he was the son of the late Léo and Florida (Babineau) Cormier.
He worked 37 years for EP Melanson Ltd. and Cocagne Seafood.
Camille will sadly be missed by his wife of 55 years, Yvonne (Melanson); his children, Camilla Doucette (Claude) of Moncton, Berthe Allain (Danny), Paul Cormier (Diane) both of Cocagne, Charles Yvon Cormier (Jeannette) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent; three sisters, Germaine Belliveau (Laurie) of Memramcook, Elizabeth Babineau (René) of Shediac, Yvonne McKay (Don) of Hampton; two brothers, Ulric Cormier (Alida) of Cocagne, Père Yvon Cormier of Dieppe; three grandchildren, Tammy, Lisa, Randy; two great grandchildren, Madison and Emma; also several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held at the Cocagne RC Church Slumber room on Monday, August 9th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church in Cocagne on Tuesday, August 10th at 11 am. No visitations on Tuesday.
Donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Cocagne – Alban Maillet, 92, passed away peacefully at the Foyer St-Antoine, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, August 7, 2010 after a brief illness.
Born in St-Maurice on June 10, 1918, he was the son of the late Dosithé and Léonie (Boucher) Mailllet.
Alban will sadly be missed by his wife of 66 years, Laura (Bourque); four daughters, Jeannette Gaudet (Ulysse), Diane Boucher (Gérald), both of Bouctouche, Cécile Johnston (Sandy) of Notre-Dame-de-Kent, Marguerite Babineau (Rodolphe) of Shediac River; two brothers, Amédée Maillet (late Odile) of St-Thomas, George Maillet (late May) of St. John, NB; four sisters, Maguerite Allain (late Albert) of Bouctouche, Edna Cormier (late Jimmy) of Salem, Mass, Léona Daigle (late Alcide) of Denver, USA, Delma Maillet of Ontario; and seven grandchildren, Aubrey, Charles, Harold, Katherine, Jason, Jean-Yves et Priscilla.
He was predeceased by one brother, Eric; and two sisters, Ida and Adeline.
Visitations will be held at the Cocagne RC Church Slumber room on Tuesday, August 10th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday, August 11th from 9:30 am until time of the funeral. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church in Cocagne on Wednesday, August 11th at 11 am.

Cocagne - At the Dr. George-L.-Dumont regional Hospital, on Tuesday August 10, 2010, at the age of 84, died Noé P. Cormier, husband of Louise (Léger) for 50 years.
Born in Cocagne on April 9, 1926, he was the son of the late Philippe E. and Christine (Bourgeois) Cormier.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Denis of Ottawa; a sister, Antoinette Babineau (Valmont) of Waltham, Mass. He is also survived by four sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Bertha Cormier of Bouctouche, Jeannita Cormier of Lancaster, Mass, Greta Soucy, Betty and Albéo Maillet all of Everett Wash; also several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one sister, Rita and three brothers, Paul, François and Edouard.
Mr. Cormier was member 3rd degree of the Council Nicolas Denys of the Knights of Colombus of Cocagne and Mgr. Albénie LeBlanc 4th degree.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Thursday, August 12th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Friday, August 13th from 1 pm to 2:30 pm. The funeral will take place on Friday, August 13th at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church at 3pm.

Born in Bouctouche on April 30, 1917, he was the son of the late Albert and Alvina (Melanson) LeBlanc.
Eric is survived by his wife, Anna (Richard); four daughters, Anita LeBlanc (Wally) of Fredericton, Yvette LeBlanc, Linda LeBlanc both of Cocagne, Monette Thompson (Andrew) of Grand-Barachois; three sons, Paul LeBlanc (Louise) of Moncton, Bernard LeBlanc (Nicole) of Shediac, Ola LeBlanc (Nelida) of Grande-Digue; three sisters, Marie Léger (late Malcolm) of Waltham, Mass., Lina Cormier (Lionel) of Gardiner, Mass., Ronalda Saulnier (Alphé) of Cocagne; one brother, Edmond LeBlanc (late Aldéa) of Cocagne; seven grandchildren, Michel, Julien, Jean-François, Melanie, Shelby, Emma and Sofi; also several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one son Joseph, two brothers, Edouard, Arthur and one sister, Anna.
Visitations will be held at the Passage in Shediac Bridge on Thursday, September 23rd from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Friday, September 24th from 2 to 3:30 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church in Cocagne on Friday, September 24th at 4 pm.

Stéphane will sadly be missed by his wife of 49 years, Loretta (Surette); one son, Denis Després of Cocagne; three daughters, Alice Després (Bert Gautreau) , Janice Després (Luc Melanson) and Rachel Després (René Dupuis), all of Cocagne; four brothers, Armand Després, Roméo Després (late Jeannette), both of Cocagne, Maurice Després (Wilma) of Dieppe, Léon Després (Nancy) of Moncton; three sisters, Jeannette Després of Moncton, Lima Comeau (Ola) of Toronto, Phyllis Després (Wayne) of Cocagne; one sister-in-law, Lina Després (late Patrick) of Cocagne; two grandchildren, Amélie Mills and Gaétan Mills; also several cousins and nieces.
He was predeceased by one brother, Patrick and one infant sister, Norma.

Born in Cocagne on October 11th, 1907, she was the daughter of the late John and the late Agnès (Breau) Surette.
Edith will be sadly missed by her sister, Imelda Surette of Montreal, QC, also several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Martin; three brothers, Robert, Ernest, René and her sister Anita.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Monday, July 4th from 12:30 until time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel on Monday, July 4th at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at the St-Pierre de Cocagne RC Cemetery in Cocagne.

Guy will be sadly missed by his wife, Lillian; his son, Erik M. of Moncton, his two daughters, Natasha Cyr (Michel Guénette) of Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC, Melinda Cyr (Shaun Kilty) of Ottawa, ON; his four brothers, Gilles Cyr (Léona) of St-Jean, Port Jolie, QC, Aurèle Cyr (Carmen) of Gatineau, QC, Camille Cyr (Carmel) of St-Fabian-de-Panet, QC, Albert Cyr (Mariette) of Laval, QC; his six sisters, Annette Pelletier (Romain) of Kelowna, BC, Ida Szuszkiewicz (late Frank) of Montreal, QC, Claire Michaud (Rudolphe) and Pauline Cyr (Rinette), both of Edmundston, Thérèse Levaseur (Clermont) of St-Antoine-de-Tilly, QC, Lisette Levesque (Jean-Noël) of St-Quentin; his four grandchildren, Mia, Anne, Nathaniel, Edmond; also many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother, Roger, one infant brother, Laurien, three sisters, Odette, Mae and Yvonne.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Friday, June 10 from 7 to 9 pm. A celebration of life will be held at the Passage Chapel in Shediac Bridge on Saturday, June 11 at 11 am.
