René Joseph Jaillet

St-Edouard, NB – René Joseph Jaillet, 73, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, January 2, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in St-Edouard-de-Kent on June 10, 1936, he was the son of the late Iréné and Marie (Gallant) Jaillet.
René is survived by his wife of 50 years, Georgianna LeBlanc Jaillet; a daughter, June of Hamilton, Ont; a son, Larry of Keswick, Ont; two grandchildren, Justin and Amber; a brother, Bertin of St-Edouard; a sister, Clemence Delbaen of Montreal.
He was predeceased by one sister, Jeannine.
René lived and worked in Richmond Hill, Ont; for 42 years for Ontario and Vaughan Hydro.
Visitation and Funeral service will be held at Passage, 3754 Route 134 in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, January 6 from 9:30 am till time of the service at 11 am.
Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Friends of the Moncton City Hospital or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Kathy L. Jeffries

Riverview – Kathy Lynne Jeffries, 51, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Thursday, January 14th’ 2010 at the Moncton City Hospital.
Born in Alliston Ont. on July 7th, 1958, she was the daughter of Margaret (Blakey) and the late Reuben Dean.
Kathy is survived by and will sadly be missed by her husband Neil, two daughters, Heather Tays and Katie (Richard) Caracristi both of Riverview, three brothers, Ed Dean of Winnipeg Alb., Stephen (Lani) Dean of Wainwright Alb., and Robert Dean of B.C. two sisters, Karen (Mike) Burke of Dean NS. and Anne (Glen) Vey of Edmonton Alb., two beautiful grand-daughters Teagan and Mia, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
By the family’s request, cremation has taken place and visitation will be held at Passage Moncton 625 Mountain Rd.on Monday January 18th, 2010 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and 6:00 to 9:00 pm. The graveside service and interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery in Upper Stewiacke NS. later this spring. Family will be notified of the date and time.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Kathy’s memory may be made to the Oncology Unit at the Moncton City Hospital or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.

Roger Robichaud

Notre-Dame-de-Kent - Roger Robichaud, 72, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 28, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Notre-Dame-de-Kent on November 16, 1937, he was the son of the late François and Elmire (Goguen) Robichaud.
Roger was retired from the Canadian Armed Forces.
Roger will sadly be missed by his son, Gérard (Clauda) of Notre-Dame; his loving companion, Gail Mathers; his two brothers, Roméo (Corinne) of Grande-Digue and Albert (Anne) of Waltham, Mass.; his sister-in-law, Bernadette Robichaud of McDougall Settlement.
He was predeceased by one brother Gérard.
Visitation will be held at the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Slumber Room in Notre-Dame-de-Kent on Wednesday, March 3rd from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 pm till time of funeral. Funeral service will be celebrated at the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur RC Church in Notre-Dame-de-Kent on Wednesday, March 3rd at 7 pm.

Sorel, Quebec – Louise Diane Cormier, 62, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Moncton on April 7th, 1947, she was the daughter of Rita (Léger) Newlands and late step-father John Newlands.
Louise will sadly be missed by her mother, Rita of Moncton, her sister Linda Winsor (Robert) of Shediac Bridge as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Pursuant to Beatrice’s death on January 14, 2010, a Mass will be celebrated at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church on Saturday, May 1st at 11am. After the Mass, a reception will be held at the Webster House, 114 Riverside Drive, Shediac. Everyone is welcome. Burial will take place in Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette parish cemetery in Tracadie-Sheila (date to be determined).

Cap-Pelé, NB – Alphée Fougère, 78, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 29.
Born in Cap-Pelé on February 9, 1932, he was the son of the late Patrick and Mélindé (LeBlanc) Fougère.
Alphée will sadly be missed by his wife, Rose-Anna (Robichaud); son, Roland (Nicole LeBlanc) of Bouctouche; five daughters, Ginette Cormier (Irois), Claudette Comeau (Bernard), Rosella Mazerolle (Robert) all of Grand-Barachois, Carmella Saulnier (Néri) of Cap-Pelé, Linda Fougère (Mike Mitton) of Shemogue; four sisters, Anita East (late Denis of Rouya Noranda, QC, Maria Landry (Arthur) and Marguerite Cormier (late Robert) both of Cap-Pelé, Marie Jeanne Richard (late France) of East Hartford, US; one son-in-law, Roger Cormier (Fernande) of Grand-Barachois; two sisters-in-law, Armande and Alexina; seven grand children, André, Mathieu, Luc, Joël, Joshua, Jocelyn and Corey; two step-grand children, André and Mathieu.
He was predeceased by one daughter, Joanne and two brothers, Laurie and Adrien.
Visitation will be held at the Slumber Room in Cap-Pelé on Monday, May 3rd, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Tuesday, May 4th from 9:30 am till time of funeral. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Ste-Thérèse d’Avila RC Church in Cap-Pelé at 11 am.

St-Thomas-de-Kent, NB – Elise Goguen, 91, passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, April 29th, 2010
Born in Shediac, NB on April 24, 1919, Elise was the daughter of the late Clovis and Saraphine (Gautreau) O'Brien.
Elise is survived by one daughter, Janita Goguen of Grande-Digue; one goddaughter, Janet Rawlinson of St-Thomas; one brother, Albert O’Brien (Eva) of Sudbury, ON; also several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Goguen (2006), two sisters, Caroline and Lea ; and eight brothers, William, Leo, Alfred, Jacob, Aurel, Philippe, Alphonse and Emery.
Visitations and funeral mass will be held at a later date.

Aimé Alcide Langis, Jr.

Grand-Barachois – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Aimé Langis, Jr., 71, who died Wednesday, May 5th, 2010 after a short illness.
Born in Moncton on February 20th, 1939, he was the son of the late Aimé G. Langis, Sr. (Dec. 1971) and the late Yvonne (LeBlanc) Langis (Dec. 1983).
Aimé will sadly be missed by his wife May (Caissie) Langis; his three sons, Roland Langis (Ginny), René Langis (Kendra) both of Moncton and Adrien (Andy) Langis of Cap-Pelé along with three grandchildren, Angela, Sean, Jill and three great grand children, Jazmin, Tristin and Haiden; four sisters, Jacqueline Dionne (late Alfred) of Scoudouc, Gloria Statham (Eddie), Pauline Langis-Landry (Donald), both of Moncton, Diana Léger (Norbert) of Grand-Barachois; also many nieces and nephews.
He was retired from the City of Moncton Recreation and Park department.
As requested by the family, there will be no visitations. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Henri-du-Barachois RC Church on Monday, May 10th, at 10:30 am.
