Coal Branch – Timothy Pitre, 50, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 14th, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Moncton on July 15, 1960, he was the son of the late Vincent and Shirley (Budd) Pitre.
Timothy will be sadly missed by his wife, Yolande; his three sons, Nelson Pitre (Tiffany), Dillan Pitre (Tasha) both of Moncton, James Lamont (Sandra) of Woodstock; his daughter, Lacey Pitre (Jessie) of Moncton; his stepson Charles Boucher (Joanne Poirier) of Shediac Bridge; his stepdaughter, Amanda Boucher (Conrad Bastarache) of St-Paul-de-Kent; his two brothers, Pete Pitre (Sharon) of St-Paul-de-Kent, Al Pitre of Winnipeg; his sister, Donna Crossman (Mark) of Winnipeg; five grandchildren, Shirley, Chloe, Dominique, Jonathan, Christopher; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held at Passage, 625 Mountain Rd, Moncton on Sunday, April 17th from 7 to 9 pm and Monday, April 18th from 9:30 am until time of the service. Funeral service will be at the Passage Chapel in Moncton on Monday, April 18th at 11 am.
Donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Edmond Gaudet

St-Paul-de-Kent – Edmond Gaudet, 81, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital on August 26, 2010 after a brief illness.
Born in Saint-Paul-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Camille and Eugénie (Goguen) Gaudet. He was a skilled trapper, hunter and carpenter.
Edmond is survived by eight sisters, Emilie Petitpas (late Gérald), Lorette MacDonald (Albert), Florence Gautreau (Donald) all of St-Paul-de-Kent; Lina Poirier (late Bernard), Anna Henrie (Albert) both of Gardner, Mass; Cécile Devarenne (late Alcide) of Bouctouche, Marie Girouard (late Thadée), Rita Kervin (Vincent) both of Moncton; and one brother, Normand Gaudet of St-Paul; also several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one sister, Alexina and three brothers, Edouard, Hervé and Alfred
No visitations by the family’s request. A private memorial service will be celebrated in his honor.
Donations to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Marilyn Wallace

Pointe du Chene – Marilyn Wallace, 73, passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on Friday, September 3rd, 2010, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Pointe du Chène on May 21st, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Charles and late Ruth (Fraser) Brydges.
Marilyn is survived by her husband Cecil J. Wallace Jr. and will sadly be missed by her daughter, Lisa (Kevin); her two sons, Scott and Jamie all from Pointe du Chene; seven grandchildren, Tara, Travis, Bradley, Jesse, Alysha, Nick and Emily; two great grandchildren, Keira and Grady; one sisters, Lila Clements (late Allan) from Shediac; also four brothers; Dyson (Mable) from Sussex, Gary (Pricilla) of Fredericton, Gordon (Betty) of Shediac and Thomas (Ruby) from Alberta.
She was predeceased by one sister, Millie; two brothers, Allison and Jimmy and one infant sister, Ramona.
Requested by the family there will be no visitations at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 7 at the Trinity United Church in Shediac at 2pm with Rev. Claudia Keller officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall.

Dollard Poirier

Saint-Paul-de-Kent – Dollard Poirier, 83, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, September 6, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Memramcook on October 8, 1926, he was the son of the late Jacques and Léona (Léger) Poirier.
Dollard loved spending time with his grandchildren and at his camp. He also enjoyed playing competitive hockey in the 1940's and 1950's.
Dollard will sadly be missed by his wife, Norma; his two sons, Jean of Saint-Paul-de-Kent, André (Sylvie) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent; three brothers, Jean-Paul (Corinne) of Mississauga, ON, Robert (Célina) and Guy (Germaine) both of Saint-Joseph; two grandchildren, Olivier and Maxime; five sisters-in-law, Flo, Nellie, Jeannette, Martina and Cécile Lirette; also several cousins, nieces and nephews
He was predeceased by six brothers, Eugène, Georges, Norbert, Gérard, Léonard and Bernard.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Paul-de-Kent RC Church slumber room on Thursday, September 9 from 2 pm until time of the funeral mass that will be celebrated at 4 pm.

Ulysse Richard

Grand-Barachois – Ulysse Richard, 79, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, September 11th after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Haute-Aboujagane on June 22nd, 1931, he was the son of the late Aldric and Agnes (Cormier) Richard who had eighteen children.
Ulysse lived for 37 years in the United States. He was a skilled carpenter for most of his life. He loved to travel and going for drives in his truck. He was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or and Club Chasse et Pêche of Haute-Aboujagane.
Ulysse will sadly be missed by his wife of 51 years, Catherine (LeBlanc); one son, Camille of Greenland, N.H.; five daughters, Gisele Bellio (Gary), Louise Guillemette (Gérard), Rachel Salmonson (Joshua) all of New Ipswich, N.H., Jacqueline Therrien (Donald) of Boston, Mass., Annette Richard of Grand-Barachois (formerly of Dieppe, NB); three brothers, Arthur Richard (late Alice), Yvon Richard (Adlessa), Norbert Richard (Florence) all of Haute-Aboujagane; four sisters, Emerise Porelle (late Azor), Dorilla Dallaire (Aubrey), Florence LeBlanc (late François), Hubert Bourque (Normand) all of Haute-Aboujagane; seventeen grandchildren and three great grandchildren; also several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Adrice, Eric, Camille and four sisters, Lucie, Yvonne, Rose and Dorice.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Tuesday, September 14th from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the St-Henri RC Church in Grand-Barachois on Wednesday, September 15th at 10:30am.

Born in St-Louis-de-Kent, NB, on September 13, 1948, he was the son of the late Camille and Marie-Anne (Bérubé) Blanchard.
Raymond will sadly be missed by his daughter, Allison Cormier (Stéphane) St-Antoine, six brothers, Yvon (Flavie) St-Charles, Gilbert (Marguerite) Tweedy Brook, Gérald (Carmen) St-Louis, Rhéal (Marie) St-John, Albert(Maria)St-Charles, Gilles (Rita) St.Louis; five sisters, Lorraine Robichaud (Exubé), Gilberte Weeks (Gregory) Orleans, ON, Géraldine Gallant (Ronald) Moncton, Jacqueline Glendenning (Willard) Rexton, Raymonde Gallant (Elie) Moncton, grandchild, Jade McLay, many nephews, nieces and friends.
Besides his parents, Raymond is predeceased by two sons, Dion Ray and Ricky and two sisters, Camilla and Rina.
Raymond was a genuine good hearted soul known by many. Jack of all trades; Brick layer, Nursing, Gravel and Long Haul Trucker. Dedicated to help everyone especially the sick & less fortunate. Raymond was proud of his sobriety of the past 26 years, Known for public speaking of Alcoholism & other life challenges. He also enjoyed motorcycling, four wheeling and most of all traveling.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, July 14th, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the St-Charles de Kent RC Church on Thursday, July 15th, at 2 pm. No visitations on Thursday.

Villa du Repos, Moncton – Formerly of Saint-Paul-de-Kent,Claudia Marie Girouard, 82, passed away peacefully at the Villa du Repos, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 after a lengthy illness.
Born in Cap-Pelé on March 19, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Eva (Cormier) Cormier.
Claudia is survived by her husband of 46 years, Valmon; one daughter, Rachel Richard (Arthur) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent; one brother, Gérard Cormier (Jeannita) of Cap-Pelé; two sisters, Eliza Goguen, Bertha Doiron (Gérard) both of Cap-Pelé; two grandchildren, Jolain and Milika; also several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by six sisters, Béatrice, Ainnée, Mathilde, Mélina, Claudine, Thérèse; and three brothers, Lionel, Adrice and Donat.
There will be visitations one hour before the Funeral Service at the Saint-Paul RC Church Slumber room in Saint-Paul-de-Kent on Friday, October 15 from 1 pm until time of the Funeral Mass at 2 pm.

St-Antoine – Edith Léger, 72, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 23rd, 2010.
Born in St-Antoine on March 2nd, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Irénée and Régina (Breau) LeBlanc.
She was employed at Assumption Life for 32 years.
Besides her husband: Léon-Guy, Edith is survived by her seven sisters: Alice (Vital) Léger of Moncton, Florence (Adelin) Paradis of Montréal, Imelda (Jacques) Jean of Boucherville, Qc., Irène (Jim) Nowlan of Moncton, Edmée (Désiré) Arsenault of St-Antoine, Lucie LeBlanc of Bolton, Mass. and her twin sister Jeannine (Ulysse) LeBlanc of Moncton; one brother: Gérard (Léona) LeBlanc of Moncton; she is also survived by one brother-in-law: Omer Léger and one sister-in-law: Dolores Léger of St-Antoine, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters: Lina (Ernest) and Juliette (Alban); two brothers Eric (Léona) and Yvon (Odila).
Visitations will be held in the slumber room of St-Antoine l’Ermite RC Church in St-Antoine on Tuesday, October 26th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 27th at 11 am.
