Petit-Cap – Alcide Léger, 83, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, June 23, 2011, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Petit-Cap, NB on September 8, 1927, he was the son of the late Jacob and Vitaline (Doiron) Léger.
Alcide will be sadly missed by his special friend, Rita; his son, Guy Léger (Marguerita) of Pointe-Sapin; Gisèle Léger of Dieppe; his brother, Philippe Léger of Petit-Cap; his sister, Ella Doiron (Gérard) of Cap-Pelé, his two grandchildren, Annick and Daniel; also to several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Thérèse (1991); son and daughter (twins at birth), Joseph and Marie; two sisters, Elizabeth and Corinne.
Visitations will be held at the Shemogue slumber room at the Club d’Âge d’Or on Friday, June 24th from 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday, June 25th from 12:30 am until time of funeral. Funeral service will be at the St-Timothée RC Church in Shemogue on Saturday, June 25th, at 2 pm. Interment will follow at the Parish Cemetery.
Donations to the Canadian cancer Society, Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Foundation or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

St-Antoine – Marie-Anne LeBlanc, 85, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence in Shediac, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 17, 2011, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Notre-Dame-de-Kent on May 2nd, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and Ursule (Hébert) Léger.
Marie-Anne will be sadly missed by her daughter, Lucille LeBlanc (Edwin Hurley) of St-Antoine; her brother, Alfred Léger (Edith) of St-Charles; her five sisters, Edna Goguen (late Alex), Doris LeBlanc (late Gérard) both of Shediac, Aline Melanson (late Marcelin) of Moncton, Laurise Gray (Al) of Surrey, BC, Marie LeBlanc (late Laurie) of Grande-Digue; also by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Armand; three sisters, Cora, Amanda, Lorraine; three brothers, Clovis, Hector, Lionel; and two infant brothers, Alfred and Joseph.
Visitations will be held at St-Antoine de l’Ermite RC Church Slumber Room in St-Antoine on Monday, June 20th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Tuesday, June 21st from 1 pm until time of the funeral at the St-Antoine de l’Ermite RC Church at 2 pm.
Donations to the Alzheimer Association or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Cap-Pelé – Aline (Lina) Niles, 91, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, June 4th, 2011, after a brief illness.
Born in Amherst, NS on August 29, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Eulalie (Gaudet) Léger.
Lina will be sadly missed by her two sons, Maurice Niles (Hélène) and Marcel Niles, both of Cap-Pelé; her three grandsons, Paul, Samuel and François; her great granddaughter, Chelsey; and also several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, David (2009): a brother, Alyre; and two sisters, Louisa and Délima.
In respect to Lina’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at the Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila RC Church in Cap-Pelé on Tuesday, June 7th at 10:30 am.

Notre-Dame-de-Kent – Ola LeBlanc, 69, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, June 04, 2011, after a lengthy illness.
Born in St-Antoine on August 22, 1941, he was the son of the late Tilmon and Elise LeBlanc.
Ola will be sadly missed by his wife, Béatrice; his two sons, Danny of Fitchburg, Mass, Ola Junior (Linda) of St-Antoine; his three daughters, Debbie May LeBlanc (Maurice) of MacDougall Settlement, Bernice LeBlanc (Rick) of Notre-Dame, Sheila LeBlanc of St-Antoine; nine grandchildren, Billy, Samantha, Krystal, Mathew, Jeremie, Brandon, Jessica, Jennifer, André; two great granddaughters, Isabel and Allison; also several brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by an infant son, André.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur RC Church Slumber Room in Notre-Dame-de-Kent on Wednesday, June 8th, from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 pm until time of the funeral at 7 pm.

Notre-Dame-de-Kent – Paulette Bourgeois, 33, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Cocagne on July 5th, 1977, she was the daughter of Paul and Eva-Mai (Goguen) Cormier.
Paulette was very athletic; she liked kayaking, canoeing, bicycling, and hiking. She was a professional photographer and worked for several years at Les Cadres Bourgeois.
Paulette will be sadly missed by her husband, Marc; her mother, Eva-Mai and her father, Paul of Cocagne, her brother, Raymond Cormier (Joline) of Shediac; her paternal grandmother, Dorilla Cormier of Cocagne, and her maternal grandmother, Irène Goguen of Cocagne; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eugène and Carmel Bourgeois of Grande-Digue; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Friday, May 27th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday, May 28th from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral service will be held at St-Pierre de Cocagne RC Church on Saturday, May 28th at 11 am.

Deliza will be sadly missed by her son, Joey Caissie (Chantal Tremblay) of Richibouctou-Village; her daughter, Fernande Caissie (Rhéal Hébert) of Dieppe; her special friend, Gulbert Robichaud of St-Charles-de-Kent; her three sisters, Anna Bernard (late Eugère) of Bouctouche, Yvonne LeBlanc (late Roger) and Irène Maillet (Arice) both of St-Edouard; her three grandchildren, Chantal, Jérémie, Josiane; also several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one son, Jimmy (2011); four sisters, Edna, Edmée, Dorilla, Élise; five brothers, Emerie, Willie, Léandre, Augustin and Ferdinand
Visitations will be held at the Slumber Room in the St-Antoine-de-Padoue RC Church in Richibouctou-Village on Wednesday, May 25 from 7 to 9 pm; and on Thursday, May 26 from 9 to 11 am and from 1pm until time of funeral service that will be held at St-Antoine-de-Padoue RC Church at 2pm.

Besides his parents, Hilaire will be sadly missed by his wife, Pilar (Alinsangao); his son, Nolan (Louison) of Kamsack, SK; his two brothers, Erice of Lakeville; Albert Junior of Dieppe; two sisters, Gisèle Arseneault of Moncton, Debra Schoepfner (Wolf) of Sexsmith, AB; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Born in St-Damien, NB on February 26, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Ambroise and Marie-Rose (LeBlanc) Cormier.
Aline will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Astrid Goguen (Edouard) of Cocagne, Aldéa Cormier (Oscar) of St-Antoine; her two sons, Fernand LeBlanc (Murielle) of St-Damien, Jacques LeBlanc (Phyllis) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent; her four brothers, Léandre Cormier (Rosée) of St-Antoine, Nap Cormier (Irma) of Moncton, Albéo Cormier (Rose-Marie) of St-Damien, Aldérice Cormier of McKees Mill; her twelve grandchildren; her nine great grandchildren; also several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Irénée; four sisters, Elmire, Melendé, Alvina, Evelyne; three brothers, Roger, Clément, Donald and a granddaughter, Sophia.
Visitation will be held at the St-Antoine de l’Ermite RC Church Slumber Room in St-Antoine on Friday, May 13th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday, May 14th from 10 am until time of funeral. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the St-Antoine de l’Ermite RC Church in St-Antoine on Saturday, May 14th at 11 am.
