The death of Joseph Wayne Leslie, 61 years, of Robinson Street Moncton occurred at his residence after a period of failing health on Monday July 28th .
Born July 21st 1942 in PEI, he was the son of Ella Sheehan.
Joe was a quite man who enjoyed working with wood.
His funeral will be held in Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel (8523530) 1177 Salisbury Road Moncton on Saturday August 2nd at 10 am. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
Harry Garfield Crossman
February 11, 1943 - August 6, 2003
The death of Harry Garfield Crossman, husband of Sharon of Riverview occurred at the Moncton Hospital on Wednesday August 6th 2003.
Born in Moncton, February 11th 1943, he was the son of Josephine Crossman (Mitton) and the late Alex Crossman. He had been employed with the CNR and retired after many years service. He enjoyed fishing on the Miramichi, hunting, and collecting golf balls for resale.
He is survived by his wife Sharon (Lutz), his daughters Sharon Buchanan (Mark); Christine Brown (Derek); one son Sandy Crossman all of Riverview. Two granddaughters Jamie Lee Buchanan and Jazmyne Buchanan. Brothers Donald Crossman (Jeanne) of Salisbury; Larry Crossman (Heather Cook) of Hillsborough; his sister Debbie Lane (Lester) of Salisbury; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father he was predeceased by his first wife Faye (Snider) in 1989.
Visiting hours at Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530) 1177 Salisbury Road Moncton Thursday August 7th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Friday August 8th at 3 pm in Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the IWK Health Center Foundation or the memorial of the donor's choice.
Jack Bernard Price
February 12, 1918 - August 5, 2003
The death of Jack B. Price, husband of Norma (Stiles) of Moncton occurred at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, August 5th. Born February 12th 1918 in Richibucto, he was the son of the late Everett and Mabel (Barnard) Price. A well respected businessman, he owned and operated Consolidated Supply Wholesale Electronics until his retirement. He had been a member of Mount Royal United Church where he served on the Board of Elders for many years. He was a veteran of the Second World War and served in Chatham with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was an "old timer" Ham Radio operator having operated ham radios since an early age. In his retirement he has enjoyed the love of his family and the times they have spent together. His pastimes have been gardening, computers, digital photography and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife Norma (Stiles) Price, one daughter Paulette Elaine Leidelmeyer (Peter) of Houston Texas; one son Terry Alan (Sheilah) of Okotoks Alberta; five grandchildren (Anthony, Sean, Diana, Adam and Curtis); two great grandchildren (Jordan and Justin); his sister-in-law (Annie Price of Riverview) as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Linda Joyce Johnson in August 1991 and his brother Claude.
By request there will not be any visiting hours prior to a memorial service which will be held on Monday August 11th at 2 pm in Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel with a reception to follow in the family reception room of the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital or the memorial of the donor's choice.

Cecil Otto Sutherland
February 13, 1926 - September 8, 2003
On September 8th, 2003, at the Moncton Hospital , Cecil Sutherland went to be with his Lord.
Born in Blackville, NB, February 13th 1926 he was the son of the late Claude and Zillah Sutherland.
He joins family members who have gone on before him: his son Robert, who left us a year ago this month, as well as his parents, his sister Rhona, his brother Walter and sister-in-law Margaret his brother-in-law Harry Johnston and siblings who died in infancy.
He was employed for a number of years by the United Baptist Bible Training School as a cook. Then in 1973 when the Kenneth E. Spencer Nursing Home opened, he worked there as an orderly until his retirement. His hobbies were oil painting, biking and hiking. His favorite day of the week was Sunday when he would attend church services at Uplands where he was a member. In earlier years he served as Sunday School Superintendent and also on the Deacon Board, for many years he sang in the church choir.
Celebrating his home-going, yet mourning his passing, are his wife Louisa; his daughter Rilla (Rick) Melanson, grandchildren Jasara, Travis, Shalane, Zachary and great grandson Javin; his son Brian (Jeanne) and grandsons Kirk and Daniel; his son Kerry (Joanne) and grand daughter Kara; his son Darren (Anabel) and grandson Matthew Robert and (step) granddaughter Roxane; also his sisters Marjorie (Boyd) O'Donnell, Gracie (Harry) Johnston, Bessie (Eddie) Colpitts, Esther (Angus) Bagley, Shirley (David) Roy and many nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530) 1177 Salisbury Road MONCTON with visiting hours on Wednesday September 10th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be he held in Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday September 11 at 2pm with Rev Gordon James, Pastor of Uplands Baptist Church, officiating.
A reception in the family reception room of the funeral home will follow the service.
Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the Canadian Baptist Ministries.
Alfretta (Audrey) Long
1921 -- 2003
Audrey Long, 82, formerly of Ninth Street, Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital following a brief illness on Tuesday, September 9th, 2003.
Born in Germantown, NB on March 5th, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Aubrey P. and Stella (Butland) Kennie. She is survived by her children Osborne, Brian (Louise) and Katherine Ells (Brian), her sisters Ilene Cox and Lavetta Lund (Ralph), and her grandchildren Jason Long (Alicia), Kelly Ells and Kristin (Ells) Hogan (Gene), one great- grandson Ethan Long as well as several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents , she was predeceased by her husband, Murray in May of 1984. With deep respect for Audrey's wishes, there will be no visitation and private services will be held. Interment will be in Bayview Cemetery beside her husband, Murray. For those who wish, a memorial donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or a charity of choice would be appreciated.

Edna May Jones
1921 -- 2003
The death of Edna May Jones, wife of Claude Jones, of Riverview occurred at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital on Saturday September 13th.
Born September 30, 1921 in Lynn, Mass. she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Robertson) Hoslen. Mrs. Jones had lived for many years in the United States. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a nurses aid in Pentucket Manor Nursing Home and in Hale Hospital both in Haverhill Mass. She was a member of the Lozier/O'Grady VFW Post 9609 in Fort Kent and the Martin/Klein Unit 133 American Legion Auxiliary also in Fort Kent. She was an avid gardener, quilt maker and talented painter. She and her husband Claude have been living in the Moncton area for the past several years.
In addition to her husband Claude she is survived by her children Joyce LaRosa (Joseph) of Haverhill; Janet Charette (James) of Fort Kent, ME.; Charles Goggin (Cheryl) of Frenchville ME.; Robert Goggin (Jeanne) of Jacksonville FLA.; Joseph Balukas (Cindy) of Haverhill, Mass.; Paul Balukas (Cindy) of Kingston NH.; step daughter Susan Pye of Summerside PEI.; step sons Doug Jones of Moncton, Hudson Jones of North Carolina; Claude Jones and Lloyd Jones both of Stratford Ont.; sister Pearl MacPherson of Riverview, 19 grand children, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her first husband Clair Goggin; her second husband Joseph Balukas; her son Thomas Goggin; her daughter Margaret (Peggy) Goggin; sister Inez Smith and brothers Gordon Hoslen and Albert Hoslen.
Visiting will be at Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530) 1177 Salisbury Road MONCTON on Tuesday September 16th from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral service will be in Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday September 17th at 11 am with a reception to follow in the family reception area of the funeral home. Betsy Beaton MacMichael
1911 -- 2003
The death of Betsy Beaton MacMichael widow of the late Alexander Gilbert (Gib) MacMichael of Forest Dale Nursing Home and formerly of Richibucto occurred at her residence on Saturday September 13th.
Born in Skeabost Bridge Isle of Skye Scotland on September 12 1911 she was the daughter of the late Donald and Catherine (MacLeod) Beaton. Betsy was a homemaker and devoted her life to her family.
She is survived by her daughter in law Deborah MacMichael of Moncton two grandsons Benjamin (Angela) of Manitoba and Michael (Brigitte) of Moncton; her sisters Cathy Gilchrist; Rachel MacKinnon; Joan Kellie; Morag Gilchrist all of Scotland as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband Gib she was predeceased by her son Ian (Mac) September 13 1998; her brothers Calum; Neil; and Angus and one sister Christina.
By request there will not be any visiting or funeral service. A private family graveside service was held in the West Branch Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Christina Margaret Campbell
1923 -- 2003
The death of Christina Margaret Campbell, widow of David Harrison Campbell, of Crystal Drive Riverview occurred at her residence on Saturday September 13th 2003.
Born in Aberdeen Scotland June 23 1923 she was the daughter of the late Donald and Jessie (Allan) Scott. Mrs. Campbell had been employed with Eaton Mail Order in the Boot and Shoe Department for many years before her retirement. She had attended Bethel Presbyterian Church in Riverview.
She is survived by her daughter Heather Drapeau of Moncton, three grandchildren David (Cathy); Dale (Tom) and Todd (Shawnda) six great grandchildren Justin, Cody, Dillon, Chance, Ryan and Conner; two sisters Alice Mellish of Riverview and Kay Petley of Harcourt. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by two brothers Arthur and James as well as two sisters Alexandria (Lex) Woods and Maribel Stewart.

George E. Killam
November 19, 1930 - September 15, 2003
George E. Killam of Moncton, Deputy Chief (retired- Moncton City Police) passed away Monday, September 15th, at the Moncton Hospital. Born November 19th, 1930 in Canaan, NB, he was the son of the late Addison George Killam and Viola Elizabeth Sherwood.
He is survived by Frances (Babington), his wife of 51 years, daughter Susan Grace Killam of Washington, DC, sons Assistant Commissioner Timothy George Killam and Chief Superintendent Daniel Peter Killam both of Ottawa, ON, Sisters Bernice Howson (John) of Dryden, ON, Rhoda Matthews (Oliver) brothers Robert (Marguerite) , Rev. Gilles (Lorna) of Calgary, AL. Grandchildren Amber Lee, Miranda, Grace, Garrett George, Jenna - Jean Elizabeth all of Ottawa, ON, brother-in-law John Charles Babington (Joan) as well as many nieces and nephews. George retired from the Moncton City Police after 35 years of service, having achieved the rank of Deputy chief. He served as President of the Police Union for a number of years and was an active member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed spending many winters in Naples, Florida with his wife. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his sister Evelyn Christie, and brothers Everett, Orland, and Addison.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home visitation on Wednesday, September 17th, from 7 to 9. PM. The Funeral service will be on Thursday, at 2 o'clock in Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home. A reception will follow in the Family Reception Room of the Funeral Home following the service. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
