FOSTER, MARY LOUISE (YARRILL) - Of Quispamsis, peacefully on March 16, 2005 at Saint John Regional Hospital following a brief illness. She was in her 85th year. Born in Loughton, Essex, England on August, 5, 1920 to Herbert and Amelia Yarrill. Mary was six when her family emigrated to Canada and settled in Niagra Falls. She attended Stamford Collegiate where she was named "All Round Student" and valedictorian. She obtained an Hon. B.A. in English at the University of Toronto and taught high school English in Ottawa for over 20 years. She also taught English to new Canadians.Following her retirement she returned to Niagra Falls and resided there until 1999 when she moved to Quispamsis to live with her son John and his family. She was an active member of the University Womens' Club and the local bridge club and became the first woman member of the St. George's Society of Saint John. Throughout her life, Mary was known for her dry wit and her meticulous attention to proper English grammar. She had a great sense of humour and loved to laugh. She is survived by her, three children David Foster (Wilma) of Woodland Beach, Ann Lukits (Steve) of Kingston, and John Foster (Shelley) of Quispamsis, six grandchildren, one great grandchild. She was predeceased by her brother, Eric Yarrill of Lennoxville, PQ. Her sister Stella Anthes passed away a few hours after Mary, in Niagara Falls. Arrangements entrusted to Castle "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home, 154 Hampton Road, Rothesay, NB(849 - 1702) .Visitation Friday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Memorial service scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Lukes Anglican Gondola Point, NB. Reception to follow.

Mrs. Lucy L. Robson

Robson; Lucy L. - the death of Lucy Robson occurred at home in Quispamsis, unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 15, 2005. Born in Montreal, she is the daughter of Muriel Collins and the late Lawrence Collins, as well as, a beloved wife and friend to Victor Robson. She was a loving mother to Erin, at home and a son Anthony who passed in 1991. Lucy is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Lucy was employed by the Province of NB as a Training and Development Counsellor. In addition to her father and son, she was predeceased by her brother Michael. By Lucy's request, there will be no visitation and a Memorial Service will take place Friday, February 18, 2005 in St. Mark's Church, Quispamsis at 12 noon. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Interment in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery. Donation's may be made to the S.P.C.A. or the charity of donor's choice. Arrangements entrusted to Castle "King's Chapel" Funeral Home, 154 Old Hampton Road, Rothesay, NB., (849-1702) "Grieve not for me, though I am gone, for I am with you still."

Peacefully, after a lengthy battle with Lung Disease at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday. Born in Ripples NB, only child of the late Lois Martin. Carolyn lived most of her adult life in Fredericton and has spent the last three years in Quispamsis. She was an avid Elvis Fan and loving mother of her daughters; Pam and her husband Steven Webb of Lakeside and Cindy and her husband Jim VanWart of Quispamsis, devoted Grammy of; Raven, Devin and Brianna and one great grandson Corvis. Also surviving are family members in the Ripples area. Predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Richard Wilson. The family invites all relatives and friends to come to an informal gathering at her home in Quispamsis where she lived with her daughter Cindy and family, 638 Gondola Pt. Road , Thursday October 14, 2004, 6:30 - 9:30 pm. Visitation at CASTLE "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home 154 Hampton Rd., Rothesay 12 noon untill 1 pm on Friday October 15, 2004. Funeral service will immediately follow at 1 pm. The burial will take place at Ripples Community Cemetery at 4pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the NB Lung Association.

Dear mother of David and his wife Alexandra and predeceased by her son John. Mary is survived by relatives in Saint John, NB. There will be no visitation at the funeral home however friends are welcomed to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Saturday, October, 30th, 2004 at 10:00 am at St. Rose of Lima Church. The interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Norman Garfield Lawson of East Saint John passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday October 20, 2004. Born in Saint John to Lowell and Georgie(Hovey) Lawson, the sixth of ten children. Norman was a resident of the Saint John Area all of his life. A graduate of Holland College PEI, he retired from NB Power at Point LePreau. Norman is survived by 2 sons; Rev. Marshall Lawson and his wife Ruth and Grant Lawson and his wife Kelly, all of Saint John, 1 brother; James Lawson and his wife Jean of Red Deer Alberta,3 sisters; June (Doris) Grady of Lindsay Ontario, Dr. Carolyn McNulity C.M. and her husband Thomas of Saint John N.B. and Fern LeBlanc and her husband Laurie of Saint John, N.B., 4 grandchildren; Chris, Collin, Zechariah and Luke, also several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 brothers; Donald and Robert and 2 sisters; Evelyn and Diana. Resting at CASTLE "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John West (634-1701) Visitation Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm Funeral Service will be held from "Fallsview Chapel" 10 am Saturday, October 23, 2004. interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Returning home from the war he worked for 39 years for the City of Saint John. Surviving in addition to his wife Elizabeth are his 4 daughters, Mary Bunnell (Lawrence) of Stewiacke NS, Jean Fraser (William) of GrandBay - Westfield, NB, Doris Griffin (Gordon) and Lorraine Watson (Gregory) all of Saint John, 2 brothers; Earl of Ontario and Frank of Prince of Whales, 4 sisters; Gertrude Douglas of Ontario, Doris LeBlanc of Saint John, Pamela Lynch (Ralph) of Fredericton and Donna White, of Saint John, 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.Predeceased by 1 brother; Clifford also 2 sisters Alvina Ingersoll and Leodia White. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, West Saint John, NB (506 - 634 - 1701) with visitation Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm.The funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home Chapel, Saint John. The interment will be in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery followed by a reception at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. Donations may be made to the charity of the donors' choice.

Kilpatrick, Basil Charles of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, beloved husband of 49 years to Dorothy (Knight) Kilpatrick, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 28, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Woodstock December 19, 1933 he was a son of the late Charles and Hazel (Dow) Kilpatrick. He was employed by Sovereign General Insurance Company for over 25 years until his retirement in 1985. Surviving in addition to his loving wife Dorothy are his children Cyndy (Gary MacLeod) Charlotte, NC., Jeffrey (Heather) Shelburne, NS, Gregory (Dawn) Grand Bay -Westfield, NB, step-brother Richard (Lois) Thompson, Fredericton,NB., adored grandchildren, Erin, Melanie, Devin, Chelsea, and Halie, as well as, several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was also predeceased by his step-mother Marion Kilpatrick, brother Eugene and sister Julia Rugen. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) with visitation on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at 11 am in Fallsview Chapel. Interment in Lower Greenfield cemetery, Florenceville, NB on Thursday at 1 pm. ENMAN, VICTOR E. - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, March, 16th, 2005, Victor Edgar Enman, husband of 48 years to Marion (Dionne) Enman of West Saint John. Born in Enmore, P.E.I. April, 26th, 1935, he is the son of the late Walter & Mary (Ladner) Enman. Victor was a baker by trade starting as a teenager at McLaggans Bakery, in McAdam, NB. He came to Saint John in 1960 working in General Bakeries, Dominion Stores (Local 1065 RWDSU), and the IGA, retiring in 1995. Victor was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, a member of The Knights of Columbus Council 6770 and the Fourth Degree Assembly 1940. Victor was a longtime member of the 30 up Club. Surviving in addition to his wife Marion are his children Marsha (David) Speight, David (Sandra), Danny (Lynn), Doug, Dennis (Tina), Darrell, Michele (David) White, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 sister Ethel Thorburn of Fredericton, his mother in law Margaret Dionne of St. Stephen, several nieces and nephews. Victor was predeceased by his infant son Victor Charles, 2 brothers, 4 sisters. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, West Saint John, NB (506 - 634 - 1701) from where the family will receive friends during visitation on Thursday evening from 7 - 9 pm and on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March, 19th, 2005 at 12:00 Noon. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. The interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated by the family.

With sadness we announce the death of Rita Agnes McGinnis at the Saint John Regional Hospital on October 26, 2004. She was born in Piccadilly Kings Co. NB, a daughter of the late Thomas and Teresa (O'Leary) Whalen and wife of the late Gerald J. McGinnis. She spent most of her life in Saint John, was a graduate of Modern Business College and had worked as a ward clerk at the Saint John Regional Hospital, retiring in 1987. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. Rita was a loving mother of nine children; two sons; John (Beth) of Fredericton NB and Tom of St. John's, NL ; seven daughters; Mary (Don) Smith of Saint John, Paula (Pat) McDonough of Saint John, Carmel (Kevin McCabe) Halifax NS, Geraldine (Don) Newman, Eleanor, Christine (Pat) Kelly and Caroline (Mike Ryan) all of Saint John NB. Also survived by two brothers; Fred Whalen of Sussex NB and Gerald Whalen of Saint John NB, two sisters; Mary Whalen and Teresa Whalen both of Saint John NB. She found geat joy in her twenty seven grandchildren; Greg and Ellen McGinnis; Joe, Dan, Ana and Mollie Smith; Liam, Jane, Seamus, Malachy and Mairi McDonough; Neil, Meg and Mairin McCabe; Peter, Caroline, Mark, Philip, Monica, John and Chad Newman; Brendan, Mary Bridget, Aidan and Clare Kelly; Searlait and Maghnus Ryan and one great grand daughter, Makenzie Burbridge, also a sister in law Virginia (Jack) Campbell, two neices and three nephews. Predeceased by two grand daughters; Fiona McDonough and Grace McCabe and two brothers; Thomas Whalen (in infancy) and Carson Whalen. Visitation at CASTLE "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John West (634-1701) Wednesday 7-9 pm and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 Noon Friday, October 29, 2004 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Following the interment a reception will be held at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. Donations to the Romero House would be greatly appreciated.
