Thomas F. Hart
1914 - 2008
The death of Thomas F. Hart, husband of the late Alexis (Lamont) Hart, occurred at Ridgewood Veterans' Wing, on Thursday, June 19, 2008.
Thomas was born in Saint John in 1914, a son of the late William and Arvilla (Andrews) Hart. He had served overseas with the South Saskatchewan Regiment during the Second World War. After the war he was employed with Royal Fruit Co.; with the City of Saint John Works Dept.; and as a longshoreman. He was a member of. the International Longshoremen's Association; the Royal Antedulivan Order of Buffalos; and Royal Canadian Legion Branch 64. He enjoyed bowling up to the age of 88, was an avid swimmer and skater, and loved playing cards.
Besides his wife, he was predeceased by brothers, Bill, Gordon, Bob, and Jim; and sisters, Velma, Dolly, and Alice.
He is survived by a daughter, Nan Lynn Hart of Saint John; a sister, Mary Mercer of Saint John; two grandsons, Joel and Will; several brothers - in - law and sisters - in - law; numerous nieces and nephews; and special brother - in - law, George (Frances) Lamont.
Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday at 12:05. Interment will take place in the Field of Honour in Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Royal Canadian Legion Memorial Service on Saturday evening at seven o'clock and R.A.O.B. Memorial Service on Sunday evening at seven o'clock.
Colleen Anne Bouchot
1938 - 2008
BOUCHOT - Colleen Anne Bouchot of Langley, B.C., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, having lost her graceful managed battle with cancer after two years.
Colleen was born in Saint John on March 12, 1938, the eldest child of the late Adolphus and Levisa (Fleming) Kelly. She was educated in Saint John and moved to Bridgetown, N.S. where she lived, worked, and loved for over 20 years before moving to British Columbia. She was predeceased by two brothers, Douglas and Paul Kelly, and a sister, Fran Walsh. She is survived by her steadfast and loving husband, Maurice Bouchot of Langley; her daughters, Linda Hasley (William) of Carleton Corner, N.S., Dr. Christine Hall (Rick Anthony) of Victoria, B.C.,Terri Milton (Randy) of Falmouth, N.S.; her step - daughters, Barbara Bouchot (Dayton) and Belinda Bouchot (Eric), both of Langley; her siblings, Joanne Gordon(Tom) of Aldergrove, B.C., Rose Dupuis (Martial) of Penetanguishe, Ont., Sharon (Thompson (Vinny) of Martinon, Claire Kelly of Toronto, Ken Kelly(Gail) of Quispamsis, Charles Kelly (Susan) of Saint John, Howard Kelly(Ella) of Grand Bay - Westfield, Connie Mitchell (Sam) of Kingston, N.B., and dedicated friend, Judy Benjamin of Saint John. The loves of her life were her grandchildren, Jeff, Kristen, Natasha, Alysha, and Lucas; and her brand new twin great - grandsons, Dayton Jr. and Lincoln. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews across this great country. Colleen's love of life, her gardens and flowers, of music, of cooking and taking care of her family with great dedication and abundance will be sadly missed by all who loved her. She has been a great inspiration and tower of strength with boundless optimism and a positive outlook in the face of great adversity.
Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Friday from 2 to 9. Service will be held in Fitzpatrick's Chapel on Saturday morning at 10:30.Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

John P. Boyce
BOYCE - the death of John P. Boyce of 61 Newman St., husband of Marilyn J.(Dowd) Boyce, occurred on Friday, July 25, 2008, at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. John was born in Saint John, a son of the late Edward and Beatrice (Doiron) Boyce.
He was a self - employed film distributor for many years. He was a co - founder of the Peninsula Little League; was a coach with the Lancaster Minor Hockey Association; and had been an avid bowler, Fisherman, and hunter. He was a member of the Canadian Picture Pioneers. He was the personal taxi driver for his children and grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Catherine Boyce; a brother, Ray Boyce; and two sisters, Mary Vaughan and Germaine Badeau. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, the former Marilyn J. Dowd; four sons, Peter (Ann), John (Mary), Tim (Sandie), and Will (Tracy) all of Saint John; one daughter, Ellie Boyce - Morris (Rob) of Saint John; three brothers, Tom (Betty) of Saint John, Edward(Margaret) of Norval, Ont., and Joe (Rhoda) of Saint John; one sister, Sister Mary Ellen Boyce of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd, Halifax, N.S.; one sister - in - law, Pam Boyce of Saint John; 13 grandchildren,Alison, Nick, Jacqueline, Adam, Ashley, Josh, Joe, Jorel, Chris, Natalie, Garrett, Jonathan, and Emily; 3 great - grandchildren, Zachary, Jeremiah, and Addison; and several nieces and nephews.

Private interment will take place in St. Bridget's Cemetery, Chapel Grove. Mabel M. Guimond
GUIMOND - the death of Mabel M. Guimond of 36 Brentwood Crescent, widow of Gregory Guimond, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, July 27, 2008.
Mabel was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Felix and Ursula (Cyr) Hebert. She had been employed at the Saint John General Hospital and the Saint John Regional Hospital for many years until her retirement a number of years ago. She was predeceased by three brothers, Vincent, Donald, and Bernard Hebert. She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Porter (Brian) of Saint John; three granddaughters, Natalie Jacquart (Mike), and Tanya Hussey (Jeff), both of Saint John, and Brenda McIntyre (Brian) all of Willow Grove; seven great - grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Tuesday from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Thursday at 12:05 P.M.. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
Dawn Anita Watkin
1961 - 2008
It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of Dawn Watkin of Pocologan at Saint John Regional Hospital, in her 46th year. Precious daughter of Brian and Joan (Young) Watkin. Beloved sister of Lynne (nee Watkin) and Kevin Fries. Cherished Auntie of Amanda (Vincent) and Sasha (Jason), and great - nephew Rowan. She will be sadly missed by her many cousins, aunts, and uncles in both Ontario and England, and many friends, colleagues, and students who loved her dearly.
Dawn will be forever remembered for her kind and generous heart who gave selflessly to help others. Her playful spirit always brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. Dawn possessed a genuine love of nature and respect for all living things. A resource teacher at Fundy High School in St. George, NB, she graduated from the University of Guelph in 1993, and obtained her teaching degree in Canterbury, England. Dawn later completed her Masters Degree in Counseling at the University of New Brunswick.
A special thank you to the staff of Saint John Regional Hospital for their care and compassion, and sincere appreciation to Greg Chambers and countless other friends and teachers who have showed their support during this difficult time.
A memorial service and celebration of life will take place at Fundy High Theatre, St. George, on Friday August 8th at 2:00 p.m. Internment of her cremated remains to follow at a later date.
M. Eleanor Marino
MARINO - the death of M. Eleanor Marino, widow of James J. Marino, occurred at Loch Lomond Villa on Monday, August 4, 2008. Mrs. Marino was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Hugh and Alva (Belliveau) Pearman. She is survived by two sons, James D. (Sally) and Stephen B.
Marino; one daughter, Christine (James) Hale; one brother, Darrell
(Helen) Pearman; two sisters, Bella and Rose Marie; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation by request. Service will be held at Full Gospel Assembly on Friday morning at eleven o'clock. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Loch Lomond Villa Foundation (Recreation Programming) would be appreciated.
Walter J. Peters
1921 - 2008
PETERS - the death of Walter J. Peters occurred on Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at Ridgewood Veterans' Wing. Walter passed peacefully with his family present and under the compassionate care of the professional staff at Ridgewood. Son of the late George and Stella (LeBlanc) Peters, Walter was a New Years baby, born on January 1, 1921. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Patricia (Kean) Peters. He is survived by his two children, Patricia (Fred) McGrath, and Gary (Marthe Boissonnault) Peters; his sister, Hilda Guimond; his two grandchildren, Christina and Michael McGrath; his extended family including nieces, nephews, and sisters - in law, Sara (Sally" Cusack and Melissa Riley. Born in Saint John, Walter was a graduate of St. Vincent's Boys High School and was a devoted employee of Irving Oil Limited for nearly 40 years. He enjoyed the Camaraderie of being an active member of the Loyalist City Amateur Radio Club - call sign VE1BRI. Walter served his country in World War II as a member of the Medical Corps and was stationed in Oromocto and England.

Patrick Gallant
GALLANT - the death of Patrick Gallant (Childs) occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, August 4, 2008, at the age of 55. He was predeceased by his loving mother, Violet Gallant, and his loving nieces Debra and Ruthann. He is survived by his sister, Ruth Williams; his brothers, Wayne and Val Downey; niece Dawn; nephew, Lance; great - nephews, Chris, Daniel, Matthew & wife Jennifer, and Jon Michael.
