Ruby Margaret Moore
MOORE, RUBY M. - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on October 26, 2002 Mrs. Ruby Margaret Moore of Saint John West wife of the late LeBaron Moore. Born in Fords Mills Kent Co., she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Jane (Brown) Symes.
Mrs. Moore was an accountant.
She is survived by one daughter Nancy Yarosh of New Jersery, one grandson Roger, and one granddaughter Amy, two sisters Jessie Power of Ontario and Helen Brooks of Saint John and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brothers Arthur, Earl and Borden, sisters Laura, Dorothy, Beatrice and Violet.
Resting at the Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701). Funeral service will be held at the "Fallsview" Chapel on Thursday October 31, 2002 at 1 pm. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Visiting at "Fallsview" on Tuesday October 29, 2002 from 7-9 pm and Wednesday October 30, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Following the interment a reception will take place at the "Fallsview" Family Reception Center.
Paulette M. Richard
The death of Paulette M. Richard, wife of Fern Richard, of Champlain St. Dieppe occurred on Friday October 25th at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital. Born in Dieppe she was the daughter of the late Raymond Poirier and Natalie (Melanson) Poirier-LeBlanc.
Paulette had been employed as a receiver with Canadian Tire. She was an accomplished knitter and enjoyed bowling with the Bowling League at the Bowl-a-rama in Dieppe. She had attended Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church in Moncton.
In addition to her husband Fern, she is survived by her mother Natalie (Clarence) LeBlanc of St Marie, NB, her daughter Kim (Andy Arcesi) of Moncton; four sisters Simone O'Brien (Tom) of Riverview; Rose-Marie LeBlanc (Leance) of Moncton; Gerene Alain (Gerald) of Moncton; Joanne Bastrache (Desire) of Dieppe; one brother Jack Poirier (Muriel) of Halifax as well as many nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held at Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530) 1177 Salisbury Rd. Moncton on Sunday October 27th. Funeral service will be held Monday October 28th at 10 am at Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church 2460 Mountain Rd. Moncton. The family will receive visitors at a reception in the church hall following the funeral service. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.

Stephen Robert Carson
1948-2002
Stephen Robert Carson, 54 years of age, of Saunders St., Riverview passed away at home on October 23, 2002. Born in Rosemere, Quebec May 17, 1948, he was the son of Andrenia (Robb) Carson and the late Nye Carson.
He moved to Moncton in 1968 to attend the Technical School where he studied to become an Industrial Arts Teacher. He met his wife Brenda (Cater) in 1970, who at that time was attending The Moncton Hospital School of Nursing. They married in May 1971.
Steve was a very special person with so many wonderful qualities. He was liked and respected by everyone he met and knew. He was the most kind hearted and thoughtful person you could ever meet. He was a very intelligent and talented man who seemed to know something about just about everything.
He started working as a shop teacher in Saint John. He was a wonderful teacher but felt he wanted to work at something more challenging. He moved to Moncton, started working at NB Tel, from there he moved to Atlantic Lotto where he was a manger of Technical Services. In 1988 he took a job with the Provincial Government in PEI and worked there for two years. He then moved back to Moncton to work as a computer specialist at Data Corp (Now X-Wave) in the Blue Cross Building.
Steve has been on long-term disability for the last seven years after having inoperable coronary artery disease. His health has been deteriorating since then. He will be greatly missed by so many friends and acquaintances and of course especially by his family.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Brenda A. Carson (Carter), and his 22 year old son Daniel and his fiancé Sally Healy presently residing and working in Saskatchewan. Danny very special because he was adopted. Survived by his grandson Daniel. Unfortunately, Steve has died before his mother Andrenia Carson presently residing in Halifax. She is 88 years old and her greatest desire in life was not to out live her son. He is also survived by his sister Jane Ann Boyle and her husband Peter residing in Halifax; two nieces, Kathy Quinn of Calgary and Heidi Nolan of California, also one nephew Steve Kendress of Calgary.
As requested by the deceased, there will be no funeral service or memorial service. Cremation has taken place.
Steve's wishes were for his friends to remember him as he was when he was alive.
Marion Idella Burns
BURNS, MARION IDELLA - At the Turnbull Nursing Home on Wednesday October 23, 2002 Marion Idella Burns of Saint John, wife of the late Leo F. Burns, born in Saint John a daughter of the late John and Emma (Farnsworth) Saunders.
She spent the greater part of her life in Saint John and had been a seamstress at Eastern Furriers for many years.
She is survived by 2 sons; Jack Waring of USA and Doug King and his companion Lillian Hull of Saint John, one brother; George Saunders of Saint John, and one sister; June Saunders of Saint John. Also a number of grandchildren including Susan Downing (King) and Scott King and a number of great grandchildren including Laura and Alex Downing.
Predeceased by her husband Leo, also three brothers; Howard, John, and Edward also three sisters; Mary Jenkins, Helen MacDonald, and Dorothy Crilley.
Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) Funeral service will be held on Friday October 25, 2002 from the "Fallsview" Chapel at a time to be announced. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Visiting at "Fallsview" on Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
Joseph Thomas LaTulippe
Joseph Thomas LaTulippe, 60, a lifelong resident of New Waterford, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2002, at the Cape Breton Regional Healthcare Complex.
In his early years, Joe worked as a mechanic. He was an avid dart shooter and enjoyed spending with friends. He loved the ocean and spent many hours on the water or at its shores. During this last year Joe focused on perfecting his game of pool.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Susan (McNeil), sisters, Edna, Edwina (in infancy), Lorraine (Cadden) and a brother, Eddie.
Surviving are his children, Tina (Bursey), JoAnna (LaTulippe-Rochon), Joseph (Tracey) and Wendy (Mark Marinelli); along with grandchildren, Kyle, Brett and Lacey Bursey, Terrence Rochon, Logan and Cameron LaTulippe and Drake and Kristen Marinelli.
He is also survived by his sisters, Annie (Aucoin), Mary (Hawley) and a brother, Edward, along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Thursday in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford (862-6439). Funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint Michael's Parish at 6:30 p.m. Friday with Lester Marchand presiding. Cremation to follow.
Elizabeth Hebert
Elizabeth Hebert, 87, of the Villa du Repos, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, October 20, 2002, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Moncton, on August 11, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Micheal and Louisa (Landry) Barolet. Elizabeth is survived by Oliver Hebert, her husband of 58 years; two sons, Raymond (June) of Thornton, ON and Paul (Annette) of Moncton; a daughter, Angela Kowalski (Don) of Minto, NB; a sister, Rita Johnson (Gerry) of Saint John, NB; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
At Elizabeth's request there will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grace, Mountain Rd, on Wednesday, October 23rd at 2:00 pm followed by a reception at the Club D'Age D'Or on Keillor St. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.

Eileen Eva (Ricker) Carlson
CARLSON, EILEEN E. - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, December 10th, 2002, Eileen Eva (Ricker) Carlson, at the age of 86 of Rothesay, NB, wife of the late John Arthur Carlson. Born in Petersville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Lily J. (Mahar) Ricker.
Those who knew Eileen knew of her love of the outdoors and her special care of animals. Eileen was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Eileen is survived by nieces and nephews, a special friend Jacquelyn Richard and her husband Jason and their children Justin, Katie and Kyle of Rothesay, NB.
Besides her husband John, Eileen was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Resting at Castle "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home, 154 Old Hampton Road, Rothesay, NB (506-849-1702) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, December 12th, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. The interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home will be on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
