Carloine M. Groves
The death of Carloine M. Groves, wife of Barrie Groves, of Lower Coverdale occurred at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday July 15th 2003 following a brief illness.
Born in Lakeburn she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marie (Lirette) Smith.
Carloine had been employed with the Moncton Times Transcript prior to her early retirement.
She loved reading, gardening, embroidery and spending time with her dogs.
In addition to her husband, Barrie, she is survived by two sisters Phyllis (Peter) Schmitz of Germany; Barbara Smith; four brothers Wallace (Noella), Wayne (Theresa); Allan (Sylvia); Ralph (Gail) and all of Moncton and many nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her mother in law Florence Ida Groves (the late Wilfred Groves) of Bonavista, NL.
By request there will not be any visiting hours prior to her Memorial Service which will be held on Friday July 18th at 3 pm in Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel followed by a gathering of friends and family which will take place in the Family Reception Room of the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fair Haven Funeral Home(852-3530) 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton.
Anne E. Kimball
KIMBALL, E. ANNE - After a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, July 12, 2003 with her husband and children by her side, E. Anne (Forret) Kimball, beloved wife of Bob Kimball of Quispamsis.
Born in Bloomfield a daughter of James Forret and the late Dorothy (Melvin) Forret
Anne retired in 2000 after 25 years at the job she loved, as secretary of the Quispamsis Elementary School.
Anne was an active member of the Quispamsis United Church.
She was a wonderful person, wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister aunt and friend.
She is survived in addition to her husband and father by three children; Jamie and his wife Gayle of Quispamsis, Sheri and her husband Dwayne Armstrong of Dartmouth, Dave and his wife Jill of Quispamsis, four grandchildren, Jessica, Katelyn, Megan and Brett, two sister; Jean and her husband Holly Alston of Grand Bay/Westfield, Linda and her husband Donnie Damon of Quispamsis; a sister-in-law Skeena Forret of Quispamsis, special sisteer Marie Hall of California, several nieces and nephews.
predeceased by her mother and a brother Allan.
Resting at CASTLE "King's Chapel" Funeral Home 154 Old Hampton Rd. Rothesday (849-1702).
Funeral service will be held 1 pm Wednesday from the Quispamsis United Church with Rev. Peter Smith officiating.
Interment will be in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
Visitation at "King's Chapel" on Monday 7-9 pm and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
Beryl Aileen Burgess
BURGESS, BERYL AILEEN - After a period of failing health at the Kennebec Manor, Saint John, Beryl Aileen Burgess age 84 of Nerepis Rd. Grand Bay/Westfield wife of the late Alban Burgess. Born in Saint John a daughter of the late Nehamiah and Elena (Wills) Smith.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She had been an employee of Statistics Canada for 15 years, was a 60 year member of the Women's Insitute, a member of the Red Cross, the Anglican Church Women;s Guild and a member of St, James Anglican Church.
She is survived by two sons, Chris and his wife Rita and Eric all of Grand Bay/Westfield, one brother; Ferdinand and his wife Marvin Smith of Moncton, one sister; Marjorie and her husband Irvine Grant of Fredericton, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
predeceased by her husband, one son, David and one brother Neville.
Resting at CASTLE "Fallsview" Funeral Home 308 Lancaster Ave., Saint John West (634-1700).
Funeral Service will be held 1 pm Monday at the "Fallsview" Chapel.
Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be at "Fallsview" on Saturday 7-9 pm and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
Donations may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the Donors Choice.
Following the service, a reception will be held at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre.
Randy Graham
GRAHAM, RANDY - Peacefully at his residence, on Thursday, July 3rd, 2003; Randy Graham of Saint John, NB, husband of Anne (Bastarache) Graham.
Born in Perth-Andover, NB, he is the son of Mary Graham and the late Gordon Graham.
Randy was employed with Centennial Pontiac for approximately 15 years as a Transmission Technician.
Surviving in addition to his wife Anne and mother Mary are his children Tahnee and Kyle, at home, sister Kathi Wilby (Tom) of Saint John, Cousins, nieces and nephews.
Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, West Saint John, NB (506-634-1701) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Sunday, July 6th, 2003 at 2:00 p.m.
A reception will immediately follow in the Fallsview Family Reception Centre.
Visitation will be held on Friday and Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Donations may be made to the NB Extra Mural Hospital Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or charity of the donor's choice.
Robert James Couture
COUTURE, ROBERT JAMES - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on July 1, 2003 Robert James Couture of Saint John West husband of Lynne (LeBlanc) Couture.
Born in Saint John he was the son of Laurena (Hachey) Couture and the late Louis J. Couture.
Robert was a purchasing agent at the Atlantic Sugar Refinery retiring in 1997.
He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed fishing and reading.
Surviving in addition to his wife Lynne and his mother Laurena, is his pride and joy and his best friend son Luke James at home and three brothers Yvon Couture of Calgary, John Couture and his wife Darlene of Renforth, Andre Couture and his wife Mary Lou Robertson of Nova Scotia, five sisters Bertha and her husband Robert Bentley of Ontario, Ann and her husband Harry Follet of Saint John, Monique and her husband Paul Broderick of the Kingston Penninsula, Lisa Couture of Saint John, Simone and her husband Ron King of Calgary, his mother-in-law Evelyn LeBlanc and several nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church Milford Rd. on Friday July 4, 2003 at 10 am.
Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
Visiting at "Fallsview" on Thursday July 3, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
Following the interment a reception will take place at the "Fallsview" Family Reception Center.
