Mrs. Helen Vera Wasson
December 22, 1927 - November 4, 2007
Wasson, Helen Vera - It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Helen Wasson, Moncton, NB, after a brief illness. Helen was born on December 22, 1927 in Moncton, the eldest daughter of Clayton and Violet (Clarke) Thomas. For twenty years she was employed with the Canada Life Insurance Company and in latest years she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lewisville Baptist Church and a Dominion Life Member of the Women’s Missionary Society. Survived by her husband Gordon, son Glenn of Ottawa and daughter, Dale (Ron) Andrews of Sydney as well as two grand daughters, Beth and Erin Andrews. She will also be sadly missed by her sisters, Audrey (Gerald) Pettipas, Patricia Seeley, Betty (Wesley) Kingston all of Moncton and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Helen was predeceased by her first husband, Archibald Fraser Alcorn. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton. The funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home, Rev. Gordon MacLeod presiding. A reception for Helen's family and friends will follow the service in the Garden View Reception room of the funeral home. A private Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery will take place at a later date. Remembrances in Helen’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Mr. William Bill Dallien
October 18, 1937 - November 4, 2007
We regret to announce that Bill Dallien, Son of the late Peter and Elizabeth Dallien passed away suddenly at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday November 4 at the age of 70. Bill was born and grew up in Sydney, NS. A graduate of Sydney Academy, he was active in Boy Scouts and Air Cadets in his youth. He was a member of Christ Church in Sydney. He had resided in Riverview, NB since 1996. He will always be remembered as a boy who was kind and gentle, and as a man he was greatly loved by all his family. He is survived by his sisters, Gladys Gavell of Riverview, NB and Louise (Des) Nugent of Hammonds Plains, NS and a brother Peter (Yvonne) of Port Hawkesbury, NS as well as several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held At St. James Anglican Church, Fairview Drive, Moncton on November 8, 2007 at 3:00 pm. A committal service will be held at Forest Haven Memorial Gardens in Sydney, NS on November 10, 2007 at 11:00 am. Audrey Helena TOTTEN
July 10, 1919 - November 5, 2007
Audrey Helena (Linton) Totten, a recent resident of Carleton-Kirk Nursing Home passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, November 5, 2007.
She was the widow of the late Wallace G. Totten and the last surviving member of the family of Fred and Alice (Stevenson) Linton.
She was predeceased by brothers, Frank H. and Earle F. Linton of Montreal.
Audrey was a member of the St. Mark’s United Church and a former member of the Senior Club and U.C.W; as well as Westfield Golf & Country Club, and associate member of the Carleton Curling Club.
She was an employee of T.S. Simms for 34 years, retiring as Personnel Manager.
She is survived by nieces and nephews; 2 sister-in-laws Rizpah A. Linton of Saint John, and Helen Linton of Montreal.
Resting at Castle Funeral Homes, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Ave., cremation has taken place. By Audrey’s request, there will be no visitation.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from Castle Funeral Homes, “Fallsview Chapel”.

Mr. Brian Patrick Power
January 31, 1953 - November 2, 2007
POWER, Brian Patrick, 53, Beaver Bank, passed away November 2, 2007, in the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Born in Gander, N.L., he was a son of Joseph and Rita (Hickey) Power. Brian, otherwise known as the "Zamboni Man", worked as an operator at the Sackville Arena for the past eight years. Brian was an avid local hockey fan who was a proud supporter and longtime volunteer of the Sackville Jr. B Blazers Hockey Club. Anyone who knew Brian remembered him as a diehard Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Brian is survived by his best friend and wife of 33 years, Madeleine (Terry); daughters, Tina (Rob) Schwartz, Northwest Territories; Kassandra, Lower Sackville; son, Brian (Kelly), Amherst; sisters, Rose (Ron) Bryden, Dartmouth; Rowena (George) Street, Newfoundland; brothers, Michael (Anne-Marie), Ontario; Clarence (Rosemary), Newfoundland; Francis Hickey, Ontario. He was a proud Poppy to grandsons, Colby and Joey Schwartz, Northwest Territories, and Alan Power, Amherst. He is also remembered as a great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Power (Newfoundland). Visitation will be held in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr. on Tuesday, November 6, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 7, in St. John Vianney Parish at 10 a.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia or Sackville Jr. B Blazers.
Lottie Margaret EVANS
December 15, 1915 - November 2, 2007
Lottie M. Evans passed away peacefully on Friday, November 2, 2007.
Born in West Saint John she was the daughter of the late John and Amelia (Splane) Boyd and the wife of the late John (Jack) Evans. Their married life was spent in Lorneville N.B. and Toronto Ont.
Lottie was predeceased by eight brothers and five sisters.
She was the dear mother of John (Jack) Jr. and his wife Marilyn of Morrisdale, N.B.; daughters Terry Glenn and her husband Todd of Scarborough Ont. and Pat Wilson of Lorneville N.B. She will be remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Lori Gaudet (John) , Mathieu, Drew and Emily of Dundas Ont..; John Wilson (Sharon); Janet Lorette (Dave), Katherine and Caroline; Lindsay Savoie (Marcel), Rachelle, Charlotte and Luc; Christina Evans (Tim); Stephen Evans (Andrea) Jenna; John and Julia; Ryan Glenn (Andrea) and Emily Glenn Scarborough, Ont.
She is also survived by her sister in-law Valerie McCavour and several nieces and nephews.
Lottie was predeceased by an infant son, Calvin; and by son-in-law, Larry Wilson.
Resting at Castle Funeral Homes (Fallsview Chapel) 309 Lancaster Ave. A Funeral service will be held at Fallsview on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 2 p.m.
Interment in the Lorneville Cemetery.
Visiting at Fallsview on Monday, November 5, 2007 and Tuesday, November 6, 2007 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.
