Gérard LeBlanc
Grand-Barachois-Gérard LeBlanc, 87, of Thomas St., Dieppe and formerly of Grand-Barachois passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at his residence.
Born August 14, 1914, in Dupuis Corner, he was the son of the late Adolphe LeBlanc and the late Emma Lirette. Prior to his retirement, he was the caretaker at St. Bernard's Parish, Moncton and a plasterer by trade.
Gérard is survived by his wife Geneva (LeBlanc) LeBlanc; three daughters: Majella "Marg" MacDonald (Doug) of Chelmford, ON., Géralda LeBlanc of Shediac, Marie-Thérèse LeBlanc (Dave) of Burnaby, BC; two sons: Néri (Gisèle) of Saint-Antoine, Jean-Paul of Hamilton, ON.; three brothers: Joseph (Hélèna) of Dieppe, Jean (Edna) of Shediac, Emile (Alva) of Toronto, ON; 16 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) with visitation on Friday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and on Saturday from 10a.m. until time of departure at 10:40a.m. The funeral mass will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2002 at St-Henri R.C. Church in Grand-Barachois. Interment in the parish cemetery.
Mary Mae Arsenault
Mary Mae Arsenault 74, of Moncton passed away Friday July 12, 2002 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born May 6, 1928 in New Richmond, QC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph, and Rose (Lapointe) Cormier.
She is survived by her daughters Julia and Marie-Anne both of Moncton, her son Ernie of ON, brothers Joe, Vincent, grandchildren Mike, Ronny, and Paul.
She was predeceased by her husband Edouard Arsenault, and her common-law husband Ernest Goguen.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton. Visiting hours Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Monday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday July 15, 2002 at Christ-Roi R.C. Church, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
Bernice Boudreau
Shédiac - Bernice Boudreau, 71, of Shediac passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2002 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born November 27, 1930, in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Anna (Boudreau) Boudreau. She was a retired store clerk and a former volunteer with St.John Ambulance.
Bernice is survived by three sisters: Pascaline Morin (Fernand) of Everett, Mass., Thérèse Léger (late Alderice) of Shediac, Angela Boudreau-Morris (Marc) of Shediac Cape; three brothers: Ronald “Bouncer” (late Dorice) of Cap Pelé, Valmond (Bernice) of Orleans, ON., Hubert (Cecile) of Dieppe and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three sisters: Germaine, Gabrielle, Pauline and three brothers: Moreno, Jean-Baptiste and Arthur Boudreau.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A prayer service will be held Friday evening at 8:30 at the funeral home. Interment will be in St-Joseph Cemetery, Shediac.

VIRGINIE BOURGEOIS
1897 - 2002
GRANDE-DIGUE- Virginie Bourgeois, 105, wife of the late Léandre Bourgeois, of the Villa Providence, Shédiac and formerly of Grande-Digue passed away on Monday, July 8, 2002 at the residence.
Born January 18, 1897 in Grande-Digue, she was the daughter of the late Jaddus Brun and the late Elizabeth Babineau.
Virginie is survived by three daughters: Hélèna Bérubé (late Albert) of Dieppe, Stella Petitpas (Aquila) of Edmundston, Murielle LeBlanc (Léo-Paul) of Edmonton, Alb.; a son Odule (Yvonne) of Grande-Digue, 25 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband Léandre(1987), she was also predeceased by a son Armand, a brother David and three sisters: Marie Brun, Alvina Bourgeois and Délia Brun.

Lina Brun
1915 – 2002
Mrs. Lina Brun, 87, wife of the late Edmond Brun of the Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Cap Pelé passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2002 at the residence.
Born in Cormier’s Cove, April 25, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Félicien LeBlanc and the late Pélagie Cormier and the adopted daughter of the late Philippe and Arzélie Cormier.
Lina is survived by two half-brothers: Clifford Noel of Toronto, Gilbert Noel of Moncton, several nieces, nephews, cousins, Aurelda et Edgar LeBlanc, Léo, Gisèle, Marcella and Irma of Cap Pelé.
She was predeceased by her husband Edmond in 1985 and a half-sister Eva Boisvert.
Resting at Funérarium Frenette, Cap Pelé (577-3297) with visitation on Wednesday from 7 to 9p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and on Friday from 8:30a.m. until time of departure at 9:20a.m. The funeral mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, August 2, 2002 at Ste. Thérèse d’Avila R.C. Church, Cap Pelé. Interment in the parish cemetery.

Kevin Chevarie
At the Moncton Hospital, on Wednesday September 11, 2002, at the age of 18, passed away Kevin Chevarie, residing in Moncton.
Born December 7, 1983 in Moncton, he was the son of Paul Chevarie and Dorice LeBlanc.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister Jackie (Gordon Wilson) of Coles Island Road, his brother Steven, his maternal grandmother Eva LeBlanc, his paternal grandmother Theresa Chevarie, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Kevin graduated in 2002 from Harrison Tremble High School. He was a football player on the school team for three years and wanted to continue his education to become a carpenter.
The remains are on display at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street in Moncton. Visiting hours Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until departure time (9:15 a.m.). The funeral will be on Saturday September 14, 2002 at 9:30 am at the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce RC Church, with R.P. Peter McKee as the celebrant. Interment will be in the Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire cemetery in Dieppe.

Ulysses Boudreau
At the Moncton Hospital, on Friday September 13, 2002, at the age of 78, passed away Ulysse Boudreau, domiciled in Grand-Barachois.
Born in Barachois on September 13, 1924, he was the son of the late Yvon Boudreau and Aurélie Boudreau.
He was a veteran with the 22nd La Chaudière Regiment who served in Korea during World War II and was employed with Lockwood Windows before retiring.
He is survived by his wife, Dorilla (Boudreau) Boudreau; four sons: Marc de Grand-Barachois, Rhéal (Brenda) of Moncton, Marcel (Ingrid) of BC, Michel (Judy) of Sackville; two sisters: Claudette Cormier (Ben) of Grand-Barachois, Antoinette LeBlanc of CT, one brother Emery Boudreau (Rose) of VT, five grandchildren; Jessica, Amanda, Vanessa, Joshua, Zachary, several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his brothers Abel, Éric, Gérard and Charles-Yvon.
