Eugene J. Melanson
Eugene Joseph Melanson, 90, of Moncton, formerly of Punch Bowl Drive, Halifax, passed peacefully away Friday May 3, 2002 at The Moncton Hospital.
He was the son of the late Herbert and Maude (Comeau) Melanson.
He is survived by his wife, Myrtle (Tanner) Melanson, daughter Geraldine Dyland (George) of Sussex, sons Edward ((Mel) of Ayton, ON, Eugene (Doris) of Shediac River, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son Raymond.
No visitation or funeral service by request. Interment will be in Clearland Cemetery, NS.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of The Moncton Hospital. Your unselfish and understanding manner made his passing meaningful. God looks after us all.

J. Adelard Landry
Joseph Adelard Landry, 97, of Résidence du Marais, Dieppe, formerly of Moncton, passed away Monday May 6, 2002 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born August 19, 1904 in Cap-Pelé, he was the son of the late Albénie and Emilienne (Belliveau) Landry.
He was a retired labourer with CNR before retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Florence (LeBlanc) Landry; two daughters: Sylvia Myers (Ernest) of Moncton, Thérèse Trozollillo of New Jersey; two sons: Louis (Gail) of Dieppe, Marcel (Marguerite) of Moncton, a sister Anna Richard of Shediac, 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.
He was predeceased by a daughter Maria Loziak, a son Antoine, sisters Rosanne, Prémilia, Élodie; brothers Fidèle, Blair, and Albert.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton. Visiting hours Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday May 8, 2002 at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix R.C. Church (Humphrey). Interment will be in St-Henri Cemetery, Grand-Barachois.

Anita Richard
Anita Richard, 80, wife of Jean Richard of Noinville, passed away Thursday May 9, 2002 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born December 29, 1921 in Acadieville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Doiron-Gould and Olive Bourgeois.
Having had no formal education, she taught herself to read and write french and english. Prior to her marriage, she was employed with Vail's Drycleaning. In 1945, she married Jean Richard and together, raised eight children. After raising their children, she returned to the workforce with NB School District and then with SEARS. After returning to Noinville, she became a member of the Golden Age Club, and Ladies Auxillary Royal Canadian Legion. The most important thing in her life was her family who were blessed with her unconditional love. "All that I am or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother" - Abraham Lincoln
She is survived by her husband Jean Richard; six daughters: Dianne Hanscom (Byron), Irene Goguen (Bertrand), Fernande MacLeod (Ronald), and Clara Richard-Daigle (Luc) all of Moncton, Ernestine Caissie (Arthur), Germaine Richard-Peters (Eugene) both of Dieppe; two sons: Firmin (Rose) of Dieppe, Eugene (Gisele) of Murray Settlement; 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.
She's predeceased by an infant daughter Marie; two sisters: Ida Hebert, and Angeline Doiron; two brothers: Albert Doiron, and Freeman Gould. She was the last survivor of her immediate family.
Resting at Rogersville Community Centre Mortuary Hall. Visiting hours Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday May 13, 2002 at St-François-de-Sales R.C. Church, Rogersville. Interment will be in Kent Junction.

Ernestine Robidoux
1914 – 2002
Miss Ernestine Robidoux, 87, of Centennial Drive, Shediac passed away on Sunday, May 12th, 2002 at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton.
Born in Shediac on October 5th, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Lucien Eric Robidoux and the late Sadie Avard. Ernestine received her Nursing degree in Ottawa and was a registered nurse for 42 years in Moncton and in Woodstock and was a public health nurse with Aboriginal Affairs and was director of Public Health in Moncton prior to her retirement. She was a past member of the Moncton Curling Club.
Ernestine will be sadly missed by one sister Annette Robidoux of Shediac and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters : Margaret Robidoux and Yvonne Ryan and five brothers : John, Francis, George, Maurice and Eric Robidoux.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be held at 10 :30a.m. on Friday, May 2002 at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church in Pointe-du-Chene. Interment in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery in Shediac.

Aurel Saulnier
1922 - 2002
Aurel Saulnier, 80, of Tenth St., Moncton passed away on Sunday, May 5th, 2002 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital in Moncton.
Born in Saint-Antoine, he was the son of the late Vital Saulnier and the late Elia LeBlanc.
Aurel was a veteran of World War II with the Royal Canadian Army having served overseas in France, Germany, England and Holland. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 6 in Moncton. Prior to his retirement he was a 25 year employee with Swift and a commissionnaire with Supply Depot # 5 in Moncton.
Aurel will be sadly missed by his wife Eva (Daigle) Saulnier; a son Roger (Ginette) of Riverview; two daughters: Ida Léger (Ronald) of Shediac, Sandra Saulnier (Arnold Christopher) of Moncton; two brothers: William (Annette) of Dieppe, Victor (Albina) of Scoudouc; a sister Léona Melanson of Toronto; a half-sister Lina LeBlanc of Enfield, Conn.; five grandchildren: Renée, Jason, Travis, Christopher, Nicole and by a great grandson Jeremy.
He was predeceased by a brother Edgar and a sister Marie Monroe.
There will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8th, 2002 at the Christ-Roi R.C. Church in Moncton. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 88 Church St. in Moncton.

Emile LeBlanc
1931-2002
Emile LeBlanc, 70, of Mapleton Road, Moncton passed away after a brief illness with cancer on Tuesday, July 23, 2002 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton.
Born in Robichaud Office, November 24, 1931, he was the son of the late Eddie LeBlanc and the late Lucie Léger. Prior to his retirement, he was a carman for 31 years with C.N.R.
Emile is survived by his wife Yvonne (Landry) LeBlanc, a son Antoine of Moncton; two sisters: Florida LeBlanc (late Adrice) of Winnipeg, Léona Bourque (late Alyre) of Trois Ruisseaux; three brothers: Henri (Ida) and Valerie of Grand-Barachois, Edwin (Anita) of Shediac.
He was predeceased by two sisters: Alma, Albertine and two brothers: Joseph and Gilbert LeBlanc.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 88 Church St., Moncton with visitation on Wednesday from 7 to 9p.m., Thursday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and on Friday from 10a.m. until time of departure at 10:50a.m.The funeral mass will be held at 11a.m. on Friday, July 26th, 2002 at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church (Parkton). Interment in Our Lady of Calvary R.C. Cemetery, Dieppe.
