Bella Bordage

Bella Bordage, 87, wife of the late Theodule "Theo" Bordage, of Résidence Beau Séjour, Shediac, formerly of Floral Avenue, Dieppe, passed away Tuesday April 17, 2001 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born November 14, 1913 in Saint-Paul, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse Belliveau, and the late Melina Belliveau.
She is survived by a son Paul and his wife Janet of Moncton, a sister Marie Doiron of Toronto, six grandchildren: Sandra, Karen, Richard, Chris, Lanny, Vickie, three great-grandchildren: Jenna, Christine, Bryson, several nieces, and nephews.
Besides her husband Theo, she was predeceased by a daughter Carmen, a son Terry, her sisters Alphonsine, Lea, Irene, brothers Bill, and Patrick.
No visitation by request. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday April 21, 2001 at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary R.C. Cemetery, Dieppe.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
Léo J. Belliveau
1917 - 2001
Léo J. Belliveau, 84, of Villa de Repos, Moncton, formerly of Winter Avenue, Moncton, passed away Thursday March 22, 2001 at The Moncton Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born January 5, 1917 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Denis Belliveau, and the late Dauphine Bourgeois.
He retired from Atlantic Wholesalers after 40 years of service. He was Past Director Dominion Store in Moncton, a 3rd degree member Knights of Columbus Council 6468, member Royal Canadian Legion, Moncton Branch No.6, past member Beauséjour Curling Club, and served in armed forces overseas during W.W. 2 with NB Rangers West Nova Regiment as Lieutenant.
He is survived by his wife, Elzire (Rioux) Belliveau, a daughter Carmel Cyr (Robert) of Moncton; four sons: Charles of Saint-John, Raymond (Grace) of St-Eustache, PQ, Maurice (Nicole) of Moncton, Marc Belliveau of Brome, PQ; two sisters: Doris Belliveau of Moncton, Maria Larose of Montreal, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by an infant daughter Suzanne; sisters: Anita, Anna; brothers: Walter, and Yvon.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton. Visiting hours Thursday from 7-9 p.m., Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Saturday from10 a.m. until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday March 24, 2001 at Christ-Roi R.C. Church, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary R.C. Cemetery, Dieppe.
The Royal Canadian Legion, Moncton Branch No. 6, will hold a legion service Friday evening at 7 p.m. from the funeral home, followed by a Knights of Columbus service at 8 p.m.
Memorial donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Association or Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) would be appreciated by the family.
CYRUS ARSENAULT
1910 – 2001
Mr. Cyrus Arsenault, 90, of the Villa Heritage, Moncton and formerly of Richibouctou passed away at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton on Wednesday, March 28, 2001.
Born in Saint-Anne-de-Kent, September 30, 1910, he was the son of the late Maurice Arsenault and late Marianne Bourque. Cyrus was employed with N.D.S.C. on King St., Moncton before retiring. He was a member of Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church, Humphrey.
Cyrus will be sadly missed by his two daugthers : Annette LeBlanc (Rozaire) of Fredericton, Noreen Lamontagne (Almire) of Québec City, Qc.; three sons : Paul Arsenault (Jeannine) of Moncton, Philippe Arsenault (Yolande) of Petit-Rocher and Emile Arsenault of Toronto, Ont.; a brother Philippe Arsenault of Saint-John, N.B., a daughter-in-law Pam Arsenault of Moncton, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Marguerite (Richard) in 1971, two sons : Emile and Alvin Arsenault and several brothers and sisters.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 88 Church St., Moncton with visitation on Friday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and on Saturday from 9a.m. till hour of departure at 9 :40a.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2001 at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church in Humphrey with Rev. Louis-Joseph Boudreau officiating. Interment will be in the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery.

IDA ARSENAULT
1906 – 2001
SHEDIAC - Mrs. Ida Arsenault, 94, wife of the late Antoine Arsenault of Résidence Beau Séjour and formerly of Gallagher St., Shediac passed away on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2001 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton.
Born in Springhill, N. S., June 21st, 1906, she was the daughter of the late Mélas Gautreau and the late Angelique Fagan. Ida was a retired employee with the Villa Providence, Shediac. She attended Saint-Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac.
Ida is survived by six daughters : Linda Arsenault, Cecile Gallant (Jean-Paul) and Angela Boudreau (Olivier) all of Shediac, Jeanne Martin of Sarnia, Ont., Pauline Mallet (Normand) of Saint-Sauveur and Francine McNeil (Steve) of Saint John ; three sons : Bernard (Sylvia) of Smithville, Ont., Ronald ``Bobby`` (Jeannine) of Shediac, Joseph (Janet) of Ottawa, Ont.; a sister Josephine LeBlanc of Shediac, three half-sisters : Angela Cormier (Louis) and Eveline Babineau (Fred) of Moncton and Elizabeth Savoie of Fitchburg, Mass.; nineteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Antoine (1974), three sons : Roger, Paul and Jean-Robert, two daugthers : Lorraine and Muriel, a grandson Mark, step-father George Porelle, a brother Donat Gautreau and two step-brothers : Alphée and Aurèle Porelle.

Interment in the parish cemetery.

Robert J. Saulnier

Robert J. Saulnier, 78, of Cedar Street, Moncton, passed away Wednesday May 15, 2002 at The Moncton Hospital.
Born June 30, 1923 in Memramcook, he was the son of the late John and Eva (Savoie) Saulnier.
He was a retired employee with City of Moncton Public Works Department following 39 years service, a 3rd degree member Knights of Columbus Council 6468, and attended N.-D.-de-Grāce R.C. Church (Parkton).
He is survived by three daughters: Annette Robichaud (Emile) of Dieppe, Patsy Caissie (Fred), and Elaine Saulnier both of Moncton, a son Charles (Gwen) of Moncton, five grandchildren: Denis, Jason, Ginette, Charlotte, Janice; five great grandchildren: Brody, Justin, Curtis, Joėl, Jenna; two sisters: Marceline LeBlanc (Fred) of Waterloo, ON, Rita LeBlanc (Regis) of Notre-Dame; three brothers: Laurie (Norma) of Moncton, Armand (Doris) of Cocagne, Edouard Saulnier of Notre-Dame, a very special friend Theresa Meunier, several nieces, and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Jeannine (Richard) Saulnier (1990), a son Donald (1963), and an infant sister Florine.

1974-2008
`At the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont of Moncton, on Saturday January 26, 2008, at the age of 33, passed away Stephen Léger, domiciled in Moncton.
He is survived by his mother Adrienne (Léger) Lanteigne of Trois-Ruisseaux, a daughter, Émilia Cook, two sisters: Christine Savoie (Rhéal) and Michelle Lanteigne, as well as a brother, Paul L. Lanteigne (Elaine Bateman).
The mortal remains are on display at the Frenette funeral home, 2642, chemin Acadie in Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Tuesday, January 29, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, January 30, from 9:30 a.m. until departure at 10:20 a.m. The funeral will be held at the Ste. Thérèse d'Avila from Cap-Pelé, Wednesday January 30, 2008, at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

1926 - 2002
Rachel Couture, 75, of Amirault Street, Dieppe passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2002 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital in Moncton.
Born in Saint-Louis-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Auguste Babineau and the late Dorca Gallant.
Rachel will be sadly missed by her two daughters : Andrée Ross (Kevin) of Orangeville, Ont., Monique Couture-Belliveau (Gérald) of Moncton; six sisters: Laurianne Caron, Augusta Martinez, Jacqueline Babineau, Agathe Poirier all of Dieppe, Diane Mersereau (Pat) of Moncton, Ange-Marie Desroches (Alcide) of Saint-Louis; three brothers: Raymond Babineau (Vanilda) of Saint-Louis, Omer (Jeannette), Normand Babineau of Moncton and three grandchildren: Jeffrey, Benjamin and Lucas.
She was predeceased by her husband Hector; a sister Donalda Vautour and by a brother Flavien Babineau.
