Yvonne Bernard
1927 - 2002
Yvonne Bernard, 74, wife of the late Emmanuel Bernard, of Villa de Repos, Moncton, passed away Tuesday April 30, 2002 at her residence.
Born July 24, 1927 in West Collette, she was the daughter of the late Benoit and Obeline (Gaudet) Buotte.
Yvonne was a kind and generous person and will be sadly missed by all, especially her six daughters: Marie-Mai (Maurice), Josephine Chase (Harry), Patsy (Bernard), Angela (Albert), and Léonie (Dave) all of Moncton, Eveline Gautreau (Paul) of Gallagher Ridge; her son Maurice (Linda) of Memramcook, her three sisters: Sister Marie-Anne Buotte S.-F. of Sherbrooke, Sister Josephine Buotte, F.-J. of Moncton, Marie Bernard (Joseph) of Saint-Paul, thirteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
Besides her husband Emmanuel (1990), she is predeceased by several sisters, and brothers.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton. Visiting hours Wednesday from 7-9 Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Friday from 1 p.m. until time of departure (1:45). The funeral mass will be held at 2 p.m. Friday May 3, 2002 at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix R.C. Church, Moncton. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
At the request of the family, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
Tilmon Babineau
1924 - 2002
Tilmon Babineau, 77, of Edward Street, Moncton, passed away Tuesday April 16, 2002 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born September 8, 1924 in Shediac, he was the son of the late Thomas and Hélène (LeBlanc) Babineau.
He was employed with CNR before retirement and enjoyed fishing.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Arthemise "Bernice" (LeBlanc) Babineau, son Ronald (Pauline) of Moncton, dear granddaughters Natalie and Charline, sister Rosie Dupuis (Willie) of Shediac, brothers Yvon (Alphonsine), and Albert (Lorraine) both of Shediac, several nieces, and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister Melina Gallant, and brothers Alphée and Henri.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton. Visiting hours Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of departure (9:45). The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday April 18, 2002 at St-Louis-de-France R.C. Church (Lewisville). Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
At the request of the family, memorial donations to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
Sister Pauline Landry, NDSC
Sister Pauline Landry, 69, of Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Congregation of Moncton passed away Tuesday May 21, 2002 at the NDSC Convent following a lengthy illness.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Pierre Landry and Alice LeBlanc.
Besides her religious family, she is survived by her sisters Dorine Mazerolle (Blair), and Marie-Anne Gaudet (Louis) both of Moncton; five brothers: Amos (Helen), Robert (Audrey), and Ronald (Shirley) of Moncton, Charles (Vera), and Daniel Landry of ON, several nieces, and nephews.
She was predecease by a sister Bernice, brothers Gérald, and Ronald.
Resting at NDSC Convent, 109 King Street, Moncton. Visiting hours Thursday from 2 p.m.. The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday May 24, 2002 in the chapel of the convent. Interment will be in Memramcook.
Raymond Jaillet
Raymond Jaillet, 57, of Mill Road, Moncton, Passed away Sunday December 23, 2001 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a sudden illness.
Born in Ste-Anne-de-Kent he was the son of Cordelia ( McDonald ) Jaillet and of the late Cyrille Jaillet.
He will be sadly missed by his mother with whom he resided, two sisters: Maria (Mike) Koval of Hampton N.B., Hélène (Gregory) Mountrakis of Moncton; three brothers: Normand (Eveline), Aquila (Donna) all of Grande-Digue, Ronald (Norma) of Dieppe and by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Cyrille (2000) brothers: George, Armand, Joseph and by a sister Marie.
By request there will be no visiting hours at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday December 28, 2001 at Saint-Louis-de-France R.C.Church (Lewisville). Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.

Philonise Belliveau

Shediac: Philonise Belliveau, 99, wife of the late Edouard Belliveau of Villa Providence Home, Shediac, passed away Friday January 4, 2002 at the residence.
Born June 8, 1902 in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Olivier and Françoise (Melanson) LeBlanc.
She is survived by three daughters: Diana Bourque (Camille) of Cocagne, Yvonne Bourgeois (late Léandre) of Moncton, Gloria Bourque (Alderic) of Bouctouche; three sons: Maurice (Béatrice) and Paul (Gloria) of Shediac, Alban (Rita) of Moncton, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband Edouard, she was predeceased by a daughter Juliette Savoie; two sons : Yvon, Jean-Camille; four sisters: Lena, Alice, Anna, Dora, a brother Emile LeBlanc; three grand-sons: Maurice, Jean-Marc, Raymond, and a great-grand-daughter Monique.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 396, Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours Tuesday from 1 p.m. until time of departure (2:50). The funeral mass will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday January 8, 2002 at St-Joseph's R.C. Church, Shediac. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Almida Gallant
1919 - 2001
Almida Gallant, 81, wife of the late Éric Gallant, of Grant Street, formerly of Elmwood Drive, Moncton, passed away Thursday May 3, 2001 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born July 29, 1919 in Saint-Philippe, she was the daughter of the late Albert Gallant, and the late Adèle Cormier.
She will be deeply missed by her four daughters: Lorraine McLellan (Wayne), Aline Gollan (Bill), Corinne Allain (Bernard), Gloria Droesbeck (Vern); her four sons: Paul "Néri" (Cécile), Francis (Pierrette), Armand (Debbie), and Alonzo Gallant all of Moncton; her two sisters: Rosina Gallant, and Alice Poirier (Ulysse) both of Moncton, her brother Alfred (Margaret) of Oxford, Mass., her twelve grandchildren, her four great-grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.
Besides her husband Éric (1998), two sons: Willie, and François; two brothers, Amedée (1999), and Alyre (2000) predeceased her.
