May 26, 1921 - January 29, 2004
Cap-Pelé-Ida LeBlanc, 82, wife of the late Alphonse LeBlanc of Cap-Pelé passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton.
Born in Saint-André on May 26, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Cormier and the late Marie-Élise Richard.
She is survived by a daughter Simone Brun (Gérald) of Cap-Pelé, a grandson Rémi and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Alphonse, a daughter Alphonsine, two sisters: Eva, Corinne, five brothers: Léo, Clovis, Patrick, Damien and Auguste and a grandson Danny.
Resting at Funérarium Frenette in Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Friday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Saturday from 10a.m. until time of departure at 10:50a.m. The funeral mass will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at Ste. Thérèse d'Avila R.C. Church in Cap-Pelé. Interment in the parish cemetery.

Edward "Eddie" Halloran
1935-2008
`At the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont of Moncton, on Sunday January 13, 2008, at the age of 72, passed away suddenly surrounded by his family, Edward "Eddie" Halloran, domiciled in Trois-Ruisseaux.
Born October 1, 1935 in Antigonish, NS, he was the son of the late Patrick and Mary (Phalen) Halloran.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Caroline (Léger) Halloran, two daughters: Dianne Gallant (Claude) of Grand-Barachois, and Donna LeBlanc (Sylvio) of Trois-Ruisseaux; two sons: Tommy (Jeannette) and Ryan (Maryse) of Trois-Ruisseaux; eleven grandchildren: Shawn, Derek, Jennifer, Randy, Darren, Josée, Ashley, Chelsey, Kailey, Danie, and Alex (XOX); as well as three sisters: Doreen Lobardo (Frank) and Sara-Ann Avery (Carman) all of Guysborough, NS, Margie Dorton of Halifax, NS, three brothers: Raymond (Nina), Neil and Johnny Halloran of Guysborough, BORN; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, two brothers: Kevin and Kenneth predeceased him.
Mr. Halloran was a retired carpenter, and a former employee of the Campbell Soup Company for 15 years. He enjoyed bird watching, gardening, watching the television, and making wood objects in his shed.
The family will receive relatives and friends starting at 2 p.m. on Wednesday January 16 at the Frenette funeral home, 2642, chemin Acadie in Cap-Pelé (577-3297). Funeral mass will be celebrated from Thérèse d'Avila RC Church in Cap-Pelé on Thursday January 17, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours: Wednesday, January 16, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, January 17, from 1 p.m. until departure at 1:50 p.m.

Aline Bourque
1949-2008
Accidentally at home, on Tuesday January 29, 2008, at the age of 58, passed away Aline Bourque, common-law partner of Oscar Vautour, living in Trois-Ruisseaux.
Born June 28, 1949 in Trois-Ruisseaux, she was the daughter of the late Arthur (1977) and Madeleine (Comeau) (2001) Bourque. Aline loved to play bingo and garden. She was formerly employed at Lockwood and Villa Providence and was a member of Ste. Thérèse d'Avila in Cap-Pelé.
Aline will be greatly missed by her husband of 25 years, Oscar, two daughters: Monique Doiron (Danny) and Paulette LeBlanc (Pierre) all of Cap-Pelé; five grandchildren she adored: Justin, Jérémie, Samuel, Chloé, Zoé; three sisters: Jeannette Jacob (Jacques LeBlanc), Carmelle Duguay (Ronnie) of Trois-Ruisseaux, Angela Bourque (Normand Vautour) of Cap-Pelé; four brothers: Norbert Bourque (Jacinthe), Benoit Bourque (Maria LeBlanc), and Donat Bourque all of Trois-Ruisseaux, Réginald Bourque (Diane) of Edmonton, AB; his godmother and special aunt, Dora St. Germain of Trois-Ruisseaux; as well as by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, a sister, newborn Georgette (1948) and a brother, Léo-Paul (1987) predeceased her.

1926-2008
On Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at the age of 81, passed away Bertille Leger, wife of the late Eugène Léger, residing in Hampton, but formerly of Moncton, West Lane.
Born August 4, 1926 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Charles Blackmun and the late Zella LeBlanc; mother of Janet (Robert Hunt) of Quispamsis; grandmother of Alexandre, Jonathon and Sonja; sister of Renée Curtis of Shediac and of the late Allison Blackmun; former son-in-law of David Cogger. The remains are on display at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street in Moncton. The funeral will be on Saturday, January 19 at 11 a.m. at Christ-Roi Church in Moncton. Interment will be in the Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire cemetery in Dieppe.
Visiting hours on Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of departure (10.45 a.m.)

At Villa Providence, on Tuesday January 22, 2008, at the age of 81, passed away Amanda Maillet, residing in Shediac, but formerly of Dieppe, Laurier Street.
Born March 4, 1926 in Newcastle, she was the daughter of the late Désiré and Laudia (Arsenault) Richard; wife of the late Edouard Maillet; mother of Jeannette (late Georges Babin) of Shediac River, Linda (Terry Barkhouse) of Riverview, Robert (Murielle) of Winnipeg and Roger (Gisèle) of Moncton; sister of: late Edouard (Bertha), late Arthur (late Albertine), Léo (Thérèse), Albert (Dorothée), late Ovila (Doris), Édonia (Alice), Yvonne (late Gérald LeBlanc), Maria (Russell Cail), Dora (late Alfred Daigle) and Geraldine (Ron King); grandma of Mark, Amanda, Andrew and Jason; great-grandmother of Christian.
The remains are on display at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street in Moncton. The funeral will be at 11 am on Friday January 25, 2008 at Ste-Thérèse Church in Dieppe. Interment will be in the Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire cemetery in Dieppe.

`At the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont, on Monday January 21, 2008, at the age of 81, passed away surrounded by her family, Carmen LeBlanc-Gautreau, wife of Camille Gautreau, domiciled in Shediac. Born June 22, 1926 in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Antoine and Périna (Boudreau) Langis.
Besides her husband Camille, she is survived by her three daughters: Édithe Blouin (Richard) and Paula LeBlanc all of Shediac, Renée LeBlanc (Marc Bourque) of Grande-Digue; one son, Gilles LeBlanc (Joséphine) of Victoria, BC; one stepdaughter, Karen Gautreau of Cape Cod, MA, one stepson, David Gautreau of Manchester, Conn., one sister, Gloria LeBlanc (Frank X) of Dieppe, two brothers: Valmond Langis (Annette) of Shediac, and Rodrigue Langis (Barbara) of Saint-Jean; nine grandchildren: Christopher, Kimberley, Nicolas, Dominic, Philippe, Mélodie, Catrine, Geneviève, Stéphanie; eight great-grandchildren: Tyler, Trenton, Terrell, André, Austin, Roxanne, Marie-Soleil, Isabelle; a step-granddaughter, Emma-Rose, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her first husband Cédric LeBlanc (1989), as well as three brothers: Paul, René and Rudolphe Langis predeceased her.

Gelas Landry
1923-2008
Surrounded by his family, at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Regional Hospital in Moncton, on Wednesday January 23, 2008, at the age of 84, passed away after a short illness, Gélas H. Landry, domiciled in Cap- Pele.
Born February 20, 1923 in Dupuis Corner, he was the son of the late Honoré and Élina (Arsenault) Landry. Mr. Landry was a fisherman and a carpenter all his life.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorice (Vienneau) Landry, three daughters: Bernadette Cormier (Roger Bastarache) of Bouctouche, Stella LeBlanc (Fernand) of Saint-Antoine, Rosella Caissie (Gaston) of Dieppe; four sons: Oscar (Bonnie) of Moncton, Ola (Françine) and Emery "Cookie" (Jeannette) all of Grand-Barachois, Léon (Gisèle Wells) of Cap-Pelé; five sisters: Rebecca Bourque of Shediac, Léontine Meunier and Édith LeBlanc (Alphée) all of Dieppe, Sylvie Saulnier of Cap-Pelé, Rina Lirette of Grand-Barachois; one brother, Alcide Landry (Cécile) of Cap-Pelé; eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Alonzo, as well as three sisters: baby Stella, Yvonne and Léa.
