Lauraine Boudreau
1920-2008
`At Villa Providence, on Wednesday January 23, 2008, at the age of 87, passed away Lauraine Boudreau, wife of the late Léo A. Boudreau, domiciled at Villa Providence in Shediac, but formerly in Grand-Barachois. Born May 24, 1920 in Barachois, she was the daughter of the late Eddy and Dina (Collette) Doiron.
She is survived by one daughter, Hélène Boudreau-Surette of Moncton, three sons: Jean-Claude of Hull, QC, Arthur (Isabelle Cormier) of Boucherville, QC, and Éric (Lisa) of Nepean, ON; five grandchildren: Val, Christine, Sean, Kevin and Émilie; as well as two great-grandchildren: Mathew and Hermine-May.
Her husband Léo (1992), two sons: Daniel, and Sylvain; a daughter, May Boudreau, as well as two brothers: Dolor and Edouard Doiron predeceased her.
The mortal remains are on display starting at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 25, at Frenette Funeral Home Ltée., 396 Main Street in Shediac (532-3297). Funeral mass will be held at Saint-Henri Church, Grand-Barachois, on Saturday January 26, 2008 at 11 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours: Friday January 25, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday January 26, from 10 a.m. until departure at 10:40 a.m.
Donations to the Alzheimer's society or to the Dr. Léon Richard oncology center at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital would be appreciated.
Ronald J. Leger
1946-2008
Ronald Joseph Leger of Moncton passed away on January 27, 2008 at the age of 61. Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late Amboise Leger and the late Léa Pellerin; father of Debbie (Bruno Boudreau) of Grand-Barachois; Pépère de Réné and André; friend of Roméo Thibodeau (Dianne) and former husband of Diane LeBlanc of Memramcook. Preceded in the grave by his sister Dorine and his brother Gerry. The mortal remains will not be exhibited or funeral. Cremation under the direction of Frenette Ltée funeral home, Moncton.
Leona LeBlanc
1922-2008
At the Dr G.-L. Dumont of Moncton, on Wednesday January 30, 2008, at the age of 85 years, passed away Léona LeBlanc, beloved wife of the late Robert LeBlanc, residing in Moncton, Manoir Notre-Dame.
Born September 2, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Alyre and Marie (LeBlanc) Bastarache.
She is survived by one daughter, Alice Saucier (Lloyd) of Moncton; two grandchildren: Joshua and Marc; three grandchildren: Jessyca, Kyle and Jaeden; one sister, Loretta LeBlanc (René) of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, two sisters: Aurelie Bourque and Lina Collins predeceased her.
Léona had worked at the Evangeline and the Acadian Printing Works before her retirement.
The remains are on display at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street in Moncton. The funeral will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 2, 2008 from the Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Church, Murphy Avenue in Moncton. Interment will be in the Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire cemetery in Dieppe.
Visiting hours Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until departure time (10:15 a.m.).

Florence Boucher
1934-2008
At her residence, on Sunday February 3, 2008, at the age of 73, passed away Florence Boucher, domiciled in Saint-Philippe.
Born April 23, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Alphée and Marie (Gallant) Boucher.
She is survived by two sisters: Dora Leger (Alphérie) and Laura Cormier both of Moncton; one brother, Clorice Boucher of Irishtown; as well as several nieces and nephews.
His daughter, Jeannine; as well as her brothers and sisters: Adèle, Adelard, Napoléon, Irène, Aurèle, Éloie, Emery and Télex predeceased her.
The remains are on display at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street in Moncton. The funeral will be on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at St-Philippe Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Visiting hours Tuesday, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Yvon LeBlanc
1921-2008
`At his residence on Friday February 1, 2008, at the age of 86, passed away Yvon LeBlanc, residing in Moncton, Essex Street, but formerly of Riverview, Landsdowne Street.
Born November 3, 1921 in Fox Creek, he was the son of the late Alyre and the late Élodia (Goguen) LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc was employed for 37 years at CN before his retirement. He was a member of Christ Roi parish in Moncton.
He is survived by one son, Donald (Claudia) of Moncton; one brother, Néri of Moncton; a granddaughter, Lee Ann LeBlanc and a great granddaughter, Simmone LeBlanc.
He is predeceased by his wife, Marie (Boucher) LeBlanc (2003), a sister, Antoinette Gauvin; as well as two brothers: Laurie and Léonard.
The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, February 5, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Frenette Funeral Home Ltée., 88 Church Street in Moncton. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Christ-Roi RC Church in Moncton on Wednesday February 6, 2008 at 10 am. Interment will be in the Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire cemetery in Dieppe.

Cecilia Leger
1924-2008
`At the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont, on Friday February 1, 2008, at the age of 83, passed away Cécilia Léger, wife of the late Ernest Léger, residing in Shédiac, Résidence Beau Sejour, but formerly on rue Comeau.
Born December 11, 1924 in Goulet, NB, she was the daughter of the late Élire and Lorette (Lanteigne) Roussel. Ms. Léger was a nurse's aide at Villa Providence in Shediac before her retirement. She was a volunteer and loved to knit.
She is survived by a daughter, Élise LeBlanc (Louis) of Shediac, four sons: O'Neil (Nicole Savard) of Chicoutimi, QC, Raymond (Lorette) of Grand-Barachois, Valmond (Steve Ingnam) of Middleton, N- É, and Paul-Émile (Maria Eugenia Peña Menéndez) of Ottawa, ON; one special sister, Émilia Bulger (Joseph) of Shippagan, NB, twelve grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Besides her husband Ernest (1986), two sons: Jean Camille (1987) and Joseph Léger, a granddaughter, Nathalie Léger, as well as several sisters and brothers: J. Louis, Benoît, Bernard, Kevin, Jason, Rachel, Jonathan, Grant, Rémi, Mathieu, Nathalie, Carmen Rosa predeceased her.
A private service was held at the chapel of Maison funéraire Frenette Ltée. at 396 Main Street in Shediac, NB (532-3297). Interment will be in Ste. Thérèse d'Avila from Cap-Pelé.
Raymond J. Leger
1929-2008
At the Dr G.-L. Dumont, on Tuesday February 4, 2008, at the age of 78, passed away Raymond 'Ray' Joseph Leger, residing in Moncton on Fernwood Street.
Born in Moncton on May 25, 1929, he was the adopted son of the late Arthur and Florence (Belliveau) Leger.
He is survived by two daughters: Jeannine Berube (Ed) of Scoudouc, Doris Ayles (Adelard) of Moncton; three sons: Paul (Fernande) and Tony (Peggy) of Dieppe, Peter of Moncton; thirteen grandchildren: Monique and Danny Berube; Kim, Nicole, Monique, Rick, Sabrina and Ray Leger; Jason and Brian Ayles; Christa, Shawn and Jennifer MacDonald; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers: Jerry and Ronald (Angie); as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his wife, Ida (Leger) Leger; one son, George; one daughter, Theresa and her granddaughter Michelle.
Ray was retired from VIA Rail with 26 years of service. He was a Korean War veteran, former member of Magnetic Hill Golf and Country Club, enjoyed hunting and bowling.
The mortal remains will not be displayed. The funeral will be on Friday February 8 at 10:30 am at St-Louis-de-France Church (Lewisville). Interment will be in the Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire cemetery in Dieppe.

Peacefully on Thursday February 7, 2008 at the age of 73, passed away Muriel Cormier. Born December 10, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Néri and Amanda (Cormier) Collette; wife of the late Éloi 'Roy' Cormier; mother of Pierre (Laura), Bernice and Marc (Elaine); mother of Catherine Anne, Alisha, Melanie and Nina; sister of Irène LeBlanc, Normand, Marie Boudreau (Danny), Raymond, Joseph (Rita), Normande Collette, late Alyre, and late Délorèse. The mortal remains will not be displayed. The funeral will be on Tuesday February 12 at 11 a.m. at the N.-D.-de-Grâce Church in Moncton. Interment will be in the Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire cemetery in Dieppe.
