Thérèse Fougère
1953-2008
Thérèse Fougère, 54, of Petit-Cap passed away suddenly at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Thursday, April 10, 2008.
Born November 19, 1953 in Petit-Cap, she was the daughter of Léona Richard and the late Léandre Léger. Thérèse was employed as a cook with Dépaneur Petit-Cap.
She will be sadly missed by her mother Léona (Richard) LeBlanc (Aurèle) of Petit-Cap, her daughter Donna Donelle (Bobby) of Petit-Cap; five sisters: Hélène Léger and Betty Guthreau (Normand) both of Shediac, Aurella LeBlanc (Alvin) of Moncton, Justine Cormier (Réjean) and Jeffrine LeBlanc all of Petit-Cap; seven brothers: Billy Donelle (Camilla) and Eddie Léger (Joanne) both of Shediac, Ovila LeBlanc (Dorothé) and Robert LeBlanc both of Moncton, Michel LeBlanc (Darlene) of Charlottetown, P.E.I., Irois Léger (Faith) and Robert Léger (Maria) both of Petit-Cap; one granddaughter Céline, and by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides her father Léandre, she was also predecesed by a brother Alfred.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2008 at St. Timothée R.C. Church, Shemogue. No visitation by request. Cremation and funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac, (532-3297).

Marguerite LeBlanc
1919-2008
Marguerite Elizabeth LeBlanc, 89, wife of the late Léandre LeBlanc, of Résidence Chênes de Mambré, Shediac, formerly of Moncton, passed away Monday, April 28, 2008 at the Dr. G.-L. Dumont Hospital following a brief illness.
Born March 10, 1919 in Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Exelda (Cormier) Melanson.
She is survived by her four children: Rhéal (Ina) LeBlanc of Upper Coverdale, Gloria McLean (Blaine) of Shediac River, Gisele Bourque of Moncton, Suzette Melanson (Patrick) of Shediac Bridge; three grandchildren: Lisa Steeves of Riverview, Rob (Jill) and Mandy Bourque both of Moncton, and a sister, Nathalie LeBlanc (Clarence) of Ste-Marie.
Besides her husband, she is predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Lucianne, Ainée, Sylvain, David, Dollard, Léo, and Gérard.
The family will receive condolences Thursday evening, May 1st from 7-9 p.m. at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton. The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 2 at St-Louis-de-France R.C. Church (Lewisville).

Lucia Arsenault
1925-2008
Lucia Arsenault, 83, of Grand Pré St., Shediac passed away on Monday, April 28, 2008 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton following a brief illness. Born January 21, 1925 in Haute-Aboujagane, she was the daughter of the late Didas and Joséphine (Gaudet) Léger.
She is survived by two daughters: Claudette Cormier (Roger) of Saint-André, Rose Marie Cormier (Edgar) of Cormier Village; one son, Ulysse of Cormier Village; four sisters: Delphine Léger, Géraldine Allain (Edmond) and Jeannine Boudreau all of Grand-Barachois, Claudine Henderson of B.C.; two brothers: Gérard Léger (Vina) and Lévi Léger (Lucille) both of Grand-Barachois; nineteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by one son, Ovila, seven brothers: Alderic (infant), Ovila, Robert, Yvon, Émile, Alcide, Réné Léger.
Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure 10:40 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Sacré Coeur R.C. Church, Haute-Aboujagane. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dr. Léon Richard Oncology Center of the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital would be appreciated.
Marie Belliveau
1905-2008
Marie Belliveau, wife of the late Antoine Belliveau, of Moncton, passed away Monday, April 28 2008 at the Dr. G.- L. Dumont Hospital at the age of 102 years and 11 months.
Born May 28 1905 in Barachois, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Pacifique and Josephine (Leger) Doiron.
She is survived by four children: Henri (Maria) and Léopold (Jeannine) both of Moncton, Albert (Sheryl) of Dieppe, Jeanne (Roger Brodeur) of Grand Barachois; two step-children: Anne Alice Richard (Edgar) and Christina LeBlanc (late Alvéry "Tipper") both of Moncton, many grand-children, and great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, Marie is also predeceased by a son, Edmond, a daughter, Anna; her step-children: Corinne, Thérèse, Clorice "Joe" ; her sisters: Anna, Basélice, Elodie and a brother Jude.
The family will receive condolences Wednesday, April 30 at Frenette's Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton. Visiting hours Wednesday, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral mass will be held at Christ-Roi R.C. Church, Essex Street, Moncton, on Thursday, May 1st at 11 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.

Rita Richard
1920-2008
Rita Richard, 87, wife of Albert J. Richard, of Villa du Repos, formerly of Moncton and Dieppe, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at the Villa following a lengthy illness.
Born June 11, 1920 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Jude and Julie (Leger) Bourgeois.
Besides her husband of 58 years, she is survived by three children; Murielle Davis (Wayne) of Fredericton, Jean (Denise) and Janice LeBlanc (Gerry) both of Dieppe, seven grandchildren: Sean, Scott, Nathalie, Anik, Serge, Christine, Gilles; three great-grandchildren: Amy, Caleb, Carter.
She is also predeceased by a brother Emery.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton. Visiting hours Thursday, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Friday, from 10 a.m. until departure (10:45 am). The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2008 Ste-Thérèse R.C. Church, Dieppe. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.

Léonard Boudreau
1927-2008
Léonard 'Len' Boudreau, 80, of Moncton, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2008 at The Moncton Hospital.
Born September 20, 1927 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Edouard and Emma (Hachey) Boudreau.
He retired in 1982 from CN as a trainman.
He is survived by his wife, Rita (Babin) Boudreau; three children: Claudette Wark, Suzanne Hocksmith, and Janice McCarthy; two sisters: Cecile Oxner and Yvonne LeBlanc; a brother, Edouard 'Jr.', five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
No visitation by request. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, Moncton.
Memorial donations to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation (Oncology) would be appreciated.
