Julia Annie Middleton
June 24, 1913 - November 15, 2002
Mrs. Julia Annie Middleton of St. George Street, Sussex, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on November 15, 2002. Born in Sussex on June 24, 1913, she was the daughter of the late George and Annie (Forsythe) Snider.
Julia is survived by 2 grandsons, Douglas and Geoffrey Middleton both of Sussex, 2 great-grandchildren, Ben and Brittany Middleton and several nieces and nephews.
Julia was predeceased by her son, George who passed away in 1997, and by her sister Irene Snider who passed away in1988.
Prior to Julia's retirement she worked at the Kings County Record, Stedmans in Sussex and the IGA.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Saturday 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Sunday, November 17, 2002 at 2:00 pm., with Rev. David Barrett Officiating. Interment at Trinity Cemetery.
Donations may be made to a Living Memorial or the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
Lee Roy Lewis
1934-2016
Lee Roy Lewis, 82, of Colpitts Settlement passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Middlesex, he was a son of the late Harry and Pearl (Colpitts) Lewis. Lee was a retired custodian with the Jordan Memorial Home and he enjoyed the outdoors fishing and cutting wood off his own land.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia; daughter Penny Lewis, Middlesex; sisters Grace Douthwright (Eric), Upper Coverdale, Phyllis McCormick, Middlesex, Norma MacLeod (Waldo), The Glades, Marilyn Killam (Ronald), Salisbury and Evelyn Blackmore, Middlesex; brother Rev. Harry Lewis (Shirley), Perth Andover and Wayne Lewis (Faye), Middlesex and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Eric, Donald, Reginald, Dean, Cecil, Murdock and Orland.
There will be a graveside service at the Middlesex Cemetery, Friday, October 7 at 11 am with Rev. Calvin Fenwick officiating. Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home and Crematorium (372-4800).
If desired, donations to the Jordan LifeCare Centre or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
Betty Scott
1933-2016
Betty June Scott, 83, of Boundary Creek passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Elgin, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary Coleman. Betty enjoyed spending her time outside working in her garden and flower beds.
She is survived and sadly missed by her brothers Frank Coleman and John Coleman (Sue); sons John Scott, Danny Scott (Karen) and Gerry Scott (Bobbie); daughter-in-law Donna Seely (Bobby); several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Frank Scott; brothers Bliss and Roy Coleman and her sister Francis Jack.
There is no visitation or funeral by personal request. Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home & Crematorium (372-4800).

Donald Ogilvie
1939-2016
Donald Arthur Ogilvie, 76, of Synton passed away Thursday September 15, 2016 at The Moncton Hospital with his family at his side.
Born in Hillgrove he was a son of the late Roy Ogilvie and Lillian (Bishop) Ogilvie-Hill. Don was employed at Lounsbury Industrial (Wajax) for 38 years retiring in 1998 as Sales Manager. He enjoyed being outdoors be it hunting, fishing or trapping and took great pride looking after his property and his large vegetable gardens. In retirement Don and Doreen enjoyed many bus tours and spending time with their family and friends.
Don will be lovingly remembered by his cherished wife of 56 years Doreen (Steeves), sons Dwayne (Bernice) of Amherst N.S., Darin (Marsha) of Moncton, grandchildren Corey, Amy, Brett (Megan), and Alison. Survived also by his siblings, Mildred Fugate (Al) of Prince George B.C., Kathryn Barnes (late James) of Moncton, Dale (Claudia) of Hillgrove, sisters in law Audrey and Helen his Aunt Margaret Balzer and Uncle Bertram Bishop, in laws Clelland (late Leota), Gerald (late Marilyn), Constance (Walter), Philip (Lynn), Ronald (Hazel), Beverly (Don), Deverne (Dorine), Lynton and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his son David, siblings Leroy (Jean), Lloyd, Gordon (Bert), Joyce (Vincent, Aldean), Evelyn (Harry), step father Frank Hill, in laws Alfonso and Violet Steeves, brother in law Graham (Judy).
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and from where the funeral will be Monday September 19 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel with Pastor Bill Parks officiating. Interment at Fairhaven Cemetery, Moncton.

Shirley Marr
1931-2012
Shirley Catherine Marr, 81, of Petitcodiac, passed away March 30, 2012 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Corn Hill, she was a daughter of the late William and Florence (Dunfield) Robinson. Shirley was a homemaker and a member of the Petitcodiac United Baptist Church. She enjoyed her jigsaw puzzles, talking and social events with her friends at Kodiak Place, but family was most important to her.
Shirley is survived and missed by her daughter Cathy Dunfield (Arland) of Corn Hill; son Michael (Ruby) of Brookfield, NS; grandchildren Sarah Carson (Tim), Brent & Brian Dunfield and Melissa Marr (Aruna); great granddaughter Emmalin; sisters Jean Black of Salisbury West and Ruby Lockhart (late Donald) of Petitcodiac; brother Frank Robinson (Audrey) of Moncton; special friend Lillian Lewis of Petitcodiac and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Glendon and brother Murray Robinson.
There will be no visitation by personal request. The funeral will be held from Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) on Monday, April 2 at 2 pm with Pastor James Hannah officiating. Interment will be at the Corn Hill United Baptist Church Cemetery.
If desired, memorials to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
Lorene Brubacher
1937-2017
Lorene Isabelle Brubacher, 79, of Petitcodiac passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at home with family at her side.
Growing up in St. Jacobs, ON, the daughter of the late George and Viola (Kraft) Good, she led an active athletic youth. Marrying John in 1958, they raised five children for whom Lorene showed the meaning of unconditional love. In 1977 they moved to Petitcodiac where Lorene continued to live her life shaped by her faith showing love and compassion to family and strangers alike. She was a founding and well loved member of the Petitcodiac Mennonite Church.
She is survived and sadly missed by her loving husband John; children Douglas (Lee-Ann), Ottawa, Donald, Petitcodiac, Frank (Donna), Petitcodiac, Sandra Bunnett (David), Havelock, and Mark (Selena), Moncton; beloved grandchildren Kelvin, Clyde, Allie, Jeremy, Kyle, Ryan, Marta, Jacob, Daniel, Chloe, and Emily; sisters Alice Brubacher, St. Jacobs, ON and Eleanor Buehler (Zenus), Floradale, ON; brother Elmer Good (Irene), Drayton, ON, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Petitcodiac Mennonite Church, 285 Old Post Road, visiting will be Friday, February 10 from 7 to 9 pm and from where the funeral will be held Saturday, February 11 at 2:30 pm with Pastor Gordon Driedger officiating. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery at a later date.

Everett Charles Parsons
Mr. Everett Charles Parsons of Great Oaks Special Care Home, MacDonald’s Point, NB. Passed away at his residence on Nov. 6, 2002. Born in Bagdad, NB on May 14, 1932, he was the son of the late Thomas W. and Ruth A. (Carle) Parsons. Everett is survived by 3 sisters Alice McGarity of Cambridge Narrows, Bertha Carr and her husband Don of Geary, Thelma Cusack of Havelock, his brother Charlie Parsons of Fredericton, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Everett was predeceased by 2 brothers Albert and Ralph and by 2 sisters Florence McLean and Helen Gesner
Everett grew up in the protestant orphanage in Saint John until the age of 14. Over the years he lived in many different homes and he thought of each place as his home. He loved to play cards and his favorite game was 31. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Everett was well known by the people of Sussex because of his homemade hand drawn wagon which he built himself to transport the bottles he collected. One of Everett’s pride possessions was his “Trophy Can”, a mounted Pepsi can with a horse figurine on the top signifying a “job well done”. Which was awarded to him on September 21 1997 at the Southern New Brunswick Cattle Penning Club’s events at the Ronnie Wilkins Corral in Sussex. Everett was often seen at the parks and ball fields with a grand load of recyclable cans. In later years he enjoyed knitting, crocheting and making quilt tops.
