Shirley M. Prosser
1936-2016
Shirley Mae Prosser, 80, of Petitcodiac passed away Thursday July 14, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Moncton, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Alice (Lutes) Prosser. Shirley graduated from Petitcodiac Regional High School and the Medical Technologist Program in Saint John and retired as a Technologist from the Georges Dumont Hospital after 30 years. She enjoyed cross stitch, cooking and her gardens.
Survived and sadly missed by her sister Judy Seely, her sister in law Linda Prosser and by several cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, sister Eleanor Young and brothers Ivan and Wayne Prosser.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Monday 7-9 p.m. and from where the funeral will be held in the Chapel Tuesday July 19 at 2 p.m. with Pastor David Woodworth officiating assisted by Pastor Roger Bevans. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac.
Memorials to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
Antonetta (Annie) Braam
1932-2016
It is with profound sadness that we the family of our Mother and Oma, announce the passing of Antonettea (Annie) Wilhelmina Braam, 83, of Riverview at the Moncton Hospital Saturday, July 30, 2016.
Born November 21, 1932, in the Netherlands, she was the wife of the late Gerald Braam and the daughter of the late Hendrikus and Wilhelmina Gerritsen. Annie was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her family and the church. She was a member of St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church and organized the roast beef and lobster suppers. Her greatest joy in life was watching the achievements of her children and grandchildren. Wednesdays you could find her enjoying the friendly competition of her ladies card group. Annie loved knitting, reading, and needlepoint. She was a member of the CWL.
She is survived and sadly missed by her children Henry (Lorna) Braam of Courtney, BC, Rita McKinley of Riverview, John (Maria) Braam of Clifton Royal, Wilma (Bob) Hicks of McKees Mills, Janet (Stan) Braam of Toronto, ON, Steven Braam of Alberta; brother Henny (Thea) Gerritsen of the Netherlands; grandchildren Marney, Meaghan, Courtney, Matthew, Sarah, Eric, Patrick, and Katherine; 4 precious great grandchildren Bruce, Roy, Lauren and Connor and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting will be Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm. The funeral will be held Wednesday, August 3 at 2 pm at St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church with Father Phil Mulligan. Interment at Our Lady of Mercy, Leaman Hill.

Evelyn Colpitts
1925-2016
Evelyn Cora Colpitts, 91, of the Jordan LifeCare Centre and formally of Salisbury, passed away at the Moncton Hospital Friday, July 29, 2016.
Born July 22, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Hillard and Margaret (Coates) Branscombe. Evelyn was a homemaker, a member of the Wheaton Settlement Baptist Church and attended U.C.W. She bowled with the Salisbury Seniors and enjoyed going to Monday Morning Merry Makers. Evelyn also enjoyed knitting and loved being with her family.
Survived by her sons Charles (Nadine), and Richard (Sharon) of Wheaton Settlement; step-children Barbara (Jim) Neill of Hampton, Bruce (Anna Marie) Colpitts and Benson (Pamela) Colpitts of Fredericton, Beverly (Yvon) Bernard of Salisbury; grandchildren Angela Ramage, Lyndon Crossman, Heather Crossman, Aaron Crossman, Jennie Ward, Debbie McLaine, and Tracy Quinn-Desroches; 13 great grandchildren; brothers Everett (Grace) Branscombe and Ivan (Debbie) Branscombe; sisters Pauline Murray, Luetta (Gerry) Smith, Grace Branscombe, Margaret Vantil, and Lottie (Arnold) Forsythe and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her first husband Gurney Crossman (1986), and second husband Gordon (Doc) Colpitts (2016); daughter Bernice Hull (2013) and grandson Rae Charles Crossman.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting will be Monday, August 1 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral will be held Tuesday, August 2 at 11 am from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Lloyd O'Blenes and Rev. Sim Rushton officiating. Interment at Birch Hill Cemetery.

Shirley Black
1942-2016
Shirley Adeline Black, 73, of Canaan Forks passed away Saturday July 16, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital following a sudden change in health.
Born in Coles Island she was a daughter of the late Martin and Mary (Hutchins) Beck.
Survived and sadly missed by her husband of 51 years Joe, children, Shannon Huber (Jeff) of Melville Sk., Corinne Black (Bryan) of Wards Creek, Jessica McGrath (Ernie) of Canaan Forks, Erin Goddard (David) of Kinnear Settlement and Neil (Alicia) of Woodbury Mn., cherished grandchildren Christopher, Keiran, Bradley and Jordan. Survived also by sisters Edith Price and Lola Brooker a brother James Beck and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brothers Walter, Ernest, George and Leslie Beck and sisters Dora Philips, Beatrice Chown and Iva Smith.
A Family Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. If desired memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Leo Clarence Fenton
October 16, 1913 - January 22, 2001
Mr. Leo Clarence Fenton, of Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex and formerly of Sussex Corner, N.B., passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital on January 22, 2001, born in Millstream, NB. on October 16, 1913, he was the son of the late Patrick and Sadie (Rilley) Fenton.he was the beloved husband of the late Regina Mary "Jean" (Doyle) Fenton who passed away in 1993.
Leo is survived by his daughters, Evelyn Cummings and her husband Eugene of Norton, Shirley McKnight and her husband Charles of Berwick Road, and his sons, Bernard and his wife Marion of Carsonville and Paul of Sussex 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Leo was predeceased by 2 brothers, Leonard and Joe and by 3 sisters, Theresa, Alice and Mary.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Wednesday 7-9 pm at Wallace Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Phillips RC Church on Thursday, January 25, 2001 at 10:00 am, with Fr. Peter Bagley officiating. Interment at St. Phillips Cemetery. There will be a time of fellowship with the family following the committal at the home of Bernard Fenton.
Donations made to Alzheimer Society or the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
Austella Marian Barbara Lockhart
Mrs. Austella (Stella) Marion Barbara Lockhart of 1089 Main St., Sussex Corner, NB passed away at Sussex Health Centre on December 21, 2003 at the age of 76.
Born in Parlee Brook on March 20, 1927, Austella was the daughter of the late William and Hazel (Kyle) Forsythe and the beloved wife of the late Kenneth K. Lockhart who passed away in 1984.
Stella is survived by 3 daughters Sheila Brown of Sussex, Judy Juteau and her husband Yves of Millbrook, Linda Brown and her husband Eric of Sussex Corner, by her son
Bill Lockhart of Sussex Corner, her brother Edgar Forsythe and his wife Audrey of Parlee Brook, 7 grandchildren; Tammy, Shelley, Angie, Tony, Arika, Becky and Shauna, 3 great grandchildren; Joshua, Alexa and Justin, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Stella was predeceased by her son-in-law Calvin Brown.
Stella enjoyed playing cards especially 45’s and bingo, she was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch #20 Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church. Through out her life Stella an active volunteer in many projects in Sussex Corner.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Mon 7-9pm, and Tuesday 2-4, 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held from St. Marks Anglican Church on Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Allen Tapley officiating. The interment will take place in Trinity Cemetery in the spring.

Mrs. Joyce E. Beach, of Coles Island, New Brunswick, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on January 22, 2001, born in Sussex, NB on October 04, 1953, she was the daughter of the late James Otto and Essie Marie (Fletcher) Evans.
She is survived by her beloved husband Delbert Beach, her daughter Tara at home her son Trevor and his wife Jennifer of French Village, 3 brothers Fraser Evans and his wife Irene of Coles Island, Bev Evans of Moncton, Fletcher Evans and his wife Linda of Coles Island6 sisters Marjorie Campbell of Coles Island, Patricia McIntyre and her husband Raymond of Coles Island, Charlene Perry and her husband Roy of Havelock, Gloria Ryder and her husband Cecil of Cherryvale, Norma Perry and her husband Ernest of Forks Stream several nieces and nephews
Joyce was predeceased by 3 sisters Rosaline, Marilyn, and Bonnie and by a sister-in-law Mable (Patterson)Evans and by a brother in law Clarence Campbell
Joyce was an operator with Grand Lake Timber in Chipman She was a member of the Coles Island Pentecostal Church

Funeral Service will be held from Coles Island Pentecostal Church on Thursday, January 25, 2001 at 2:00 pm, with Randy Croizier and Jason McCormick officiating. Interment will be at Coles Island Cemetery in the spring. There will be a time of fellowship with the family following the service at the Coles Island Lions Club.
